This Company is a rip off. I filed my DBA it took 6 weeks for a simple DBA then they filed in in the wrong county and would not correct it unless I paid additional money. They are unethical and I do not recommend them.

I ordered the economy package for an LLC for my company. I paid over $700 in the end, which is way over the amount I should have paid or would have paid somewhere else. When I received my documents. Some were missing, and I had to get them re-ordered. They charged me for my state filling of the Certificate of Organization, when I'm in the military and in Pennsylvania the fee is exempt for military veterans. My Member Certificates were blank in which I wasn't aware that for the economy package they don't take the extra time to fill them out which is ridiculous! Especially for how much the package cost in the end. I am very disappointed that legal zoom took advantage of me and my rights as a service member by not honorably accounting for the benefits I earned and should have been exempt for, as well as there horrible customer and company service as a whole.

I've used Legal Zoom several times and will continue to do so. They're responsive, up front and explain things in a manner I understand.

LegalZoom is a fast and efficient service but watch your credit card bill for services you did NOT authorize. And do not bother using the mobile app, it seldom, if ever, works.

I purchased a DBA for $159 for Legalzoom. After 4 months of failing to complete the job (with issues from their side!), I asked for a refund & they told me I had passed the 60 day window. I completed the DBA paperwork on my own in 3 hours. They are APSOLUTE THEIVES. This process has costed me upwards of 8 hours in addition to the $159. Horrible business.

I gave my order to dissolve a corporation, they did not help me at all in spite of constant follow up. They are just not bothered. Also, their one of the accounts representative Christilyn Burgos did not want to listen to me and directed the return of my money in the amount of $198.95 my closed credit card account. Now they are telling me it is my responsibility to get money from the credit card company and they just don't help me at all.

After posting my review on this website, Legalzoom got into action and got my money back. Chyna smith, Social Media manager at Legalzoom was exceptionally helpful in getting my money back, She was very helpful and kept me informed about the progress of my case.

Jason Garcia provided top-notch service while assisting me with my questions, challenges and business needs. I believe it is crucial that leadership recognize a job well done, and Jason is certainly most deserving of that recognition.

In this fast-paced and fluctuating business environment, one rarely finds a provider that; listens with the intent to hear, responds with courtesy, and is decisive enough to take immediate action (where possible), to resolve the issues/challenges. I must admit... I was pleasantly surprised by Jason's vested attention to my needs! His service level most certainly exceeded all my expectations! I want to detail what sets him apart from others:

I ran into some trouble paying my 3rd installment if my LLC formation and asked if I could split it up. This was not possible but Melanie offered to push my payment date out up to 2 full weeks to give me time to sort out my financial challenge.

She was very professional and quite helpful. This proved to actually be a BETTER option than paying the final installment of $107 in two payments - instead she just saved me 2 weeks of time so I don't have to pay at all til Oct 19th, 2019.

Pleased with this customer service experience.

I am very disappointed. I was never aware that I was being charged monthly until I saw one today while I was checking my CC. What is so unfair is I never received email that I was being charged monthly, no receipt, no text messages or any type of notification that I am being charged for a subscription which makes you think they're operating that way on purpose so unsuspecting people can be charged more :( They were recurring charges for 7 months and they refunded me for only 3 months, which is so unfair because like I said, I didn't get any receipt for those charges every month so I wasn't aware at all. I just started my small business, I have no income yet so it was really a pain in the pocket and my heart because it was a big amount for me too. Well, anyway I hope they can do better.

Usually they say you get what you're paid for but I guess I got that more. It's shady that when someone spends 4 to 600 or more out of their pocket to get an LLC done on what some have said is the best way I have found that it's not. Going through all of the paperwork and then calling when I had a question and being told I can't give you advice so I'm paying $600 to get no help? I do have to give them some credit they did refund me for the Alamara (whatever the name of that 3rd party extra is) the lady made me feel stupid for asking questions. Upon speaking with the last time I had a question it's not worth what you pay! I went to my state office and got things squared away with them in 30 minutes vs the hours of calls and time on hold for questions noone can help you with. When I spoke with someone I thought maybe it was me...another convo later I confirmed I'm not...get yourselves right...customer service needs retraining and attitude adjustents

I have been with LegalZoom since 2011 and they have never disappointed me on anything. Whenever I needed advice for my Buisness or need help with filing documents LegalZoom is on point with matters of estates. I would highly recommend LegalZoom to anyone who is just starting their Buisness -it starts with them!

Julissa was calm, courteous, and very efficient at her job. She listened patiently and explained the process on her end as she was correcting it. When I wasn't able to access paperwork on my end, she took the time to go through it with me on her end step by step. I'm grateful for her time and kindness.

Yvette went above and beyond to get my problem resolved! She provided me with contact information after she went out of her way to try to fix my problem myself, but couldn't. She set up a call back from the appropriate department after I had been disconnected a couple times and when she found out it would take a while for me to receive a resolution callback, she found out how to take care of the issue herself and called me back. She is a phenomenal representative- a great asset to your company. Any bonuses, rewards, VTO, PTO, WHATEVER... she deserves it. I wish I had her personal extension for anything that comes up in the future. I had a great time chatting with her as she worked rigorously to help me. Filed for Food License and got it done fast without much fuss. Appreciate the support and assistance provided. Look forward for more such good work from the team. Raunak and his team have really delighted me with their continous support and helped me in getting the license fast.

I was really dreading setting up an LLC for various reasons, but was lucky enough to have Sidney helping me as he could NOT have been any more helpful, patient, polite or kind. I kept thinking how grateful I was for Sidney's assistance or how lucky Legal Zoom is for having an employee as stellar as Sidney. I used LegalZoom to set up an LLC for our new business. We wanted to get things up and running quickly so I paid extra (a LOT extra) for their "express" service. This was supposed to ensure that our LLC would be completely done in about 4 days. Those 4 days came and went so I contacted them and was put on hold forever with some horrible hold music playing that gave me a headache. When someone finally answered, it was obvious they were working from home because I could hear kids screaming in the background and kept having to ask the agent to repeat herself. All she could tell me was that it "should be done soon" and that she would get more information and contact me by phone or email. I never got either. This continued for over 2 months before I finally got word that the LLC was completed,... or so it seemed. There was apparently more that needed to be done on my end. When logging into my account, one of the items said that it was incomplete and said "action needed", but didn't specify what that action was. It just said to contact them. However every time I've contact them about it, I get the runaround telling me that someone will look into it and get back to me soon. As of this writing, it still hasn't been resolved. I also have noticed repeated charges to my credit card from LegalZoom for services I didn't ask for. They are an absolute nightmare to deal with.

I was revising my Will. I went on the chat and recived Aimee. She was extremely capable and extremely competent. She calmy walked me through the steps although I, was having some difficulty. In the end through her expertise ( she never offered legal advice) she was competently able to navigate me through the system and in the end all things worked out perfectly. I would like to thank her as a knowlegedable employee who knows exactly what customer service stands for, she's a credit to your company.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the organization and how quickly they were able to pull off the setup of the LLC and the additional organizations they provided to make certain all is on the right path to make it a successful LLC. Thanks

LegalZoom- My skepticism was quickly replaced with a remarkable degree of trust. My recent UX with staff and numerous services was exceptional (to my pleasant surprise, at my request cancelling a previously ordered service with full refund and no fee) Not sure of the ins and outs- but I suggested to my personal attorney that for certain services he use LegalZoom and bill me and other clients accordingly.

Placed order with Legal Zoom for an LLC. My initial request was made on January 19th for a TN State Business License and a Federal EIN. I have a show scheduled for February 19th and needed this documentation to get my bank account established. The first mistake they made was delay the document submission for 7 days. They did offer me a discount due to this mistake which I appreciated. Today is the Friday before my show and I just found that they incorrectly completed the documents for the state and had to resubmit the application - So, I won't have my account in place in time for the show. Once again they gave me a $75 credit. I used Legal Zoom because I wasn't sure I understood the process, but the time I have spent calling them regarding my business, could have been spent contacting the state and handling this process myself. They say I will have my TN license the first of next week. We shall see.

It's been a long time since I updated my current will and I'd forgotten the email I used to login. A quick email to the Customer Service team got an immediate response and did so without a bunch of back and forth, and with someone who actually knew the answer. Kudos to the Legal Zoom team that gave me the exact directions I need to get this will fully updated. FIVE STARS!
