After four years of not communicating with LegalZoom they were extremely cooperative on getting my account recovered and up to date. When it came to federal law they were prompt to keep me updated on mandates and regulations. Very professional and well mannered business.
The most horrible customer support and the longest wait times I have ever experienced. I purchased an LLC package with all the bells and whistles to include expedited processing. After two months of waiting, broken promises from customer support ("It will be finished today, we are so sorry for the wait..."), many unanswered questions, no contact, hours on the phone and in chat rooms, and a refusal to refund services not rendered, I cannot recommend LegalZoom.
Rachel displayed exceptional kindness and patience, ensuring I felt at ease throughout the entire process. As I navigate unfamiliar territory in these business dealings, discussing certain procedures makes me uneasy. However, Rachel's approach was incredibly comforting, akin to chatting with a dear friend who always maintains a high level of professionalism. It was a remarkable and effortless experience—one that I wish for everyone encountering LegalZoom.

I asked some questions via LegalZoom chat today and got intelligent, knowledgeable, professional, helpful answers. So unusual for chat help! I think it speaks highly of this company and it's services, or at least makes me feel more comfortable. I have only just signed up so can't speak to the services I have purchased, but the chat help was great. (Kind of like when you go to a restaurant and the rolls are great, you know the food will be great, too!)

Incredibly expensive tax preparation for small businesses hidden behind a deceptively worded "monthly" fee you can only cancel once a year. And if you ever do cancel they may refuse to do the taxes you already paid them for.
Incredibly unresponsive customer service. It would probably be easier and faster just to do your own taxes. Basically a scam, do not use.

They just take your money, do not help you with anything at all, if you're starting small businesses, do not recommend these people at all very shady and just want money.
As a medical professional you do not receive any training on how to start or run a business. Sarah was so incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions, and literally spent 60 minutes patiently walking me through everything. If I could give 10 stars I would, absolutely amazing customer service. I am so beyond pleased with my experience, she took my fears and turned them into excitement. Best purchase I have ever made, she should be in charge of training all of your staff. Great job!
I just had the worst experience with them. They have zero customer care... After only using the service once 6 months ago, they rejected my request of cancelling the auto-renewal because I didn't file within 30 days in advance, which was NOT clearly specified when I signed up to it. All attendees showed zero interest in providing a solution and simply ignored the fact that the service has not being used for awhile.
I feel companies that fail to provide the basic of customer care do not deserve their customer, and also this clearly reflects on their overall service level and how different departments will treat their customers.

Legalzoom did not file trademark - claims it was a mistake on customer for requesting the wrong document and they no longer do those filings. Held onto money for almost a year without reaching out via email or to reach customer by phone. Terrible service.
Used their service to open business (LLC). It was fast but expensive. Also they signed us up for all kinds of "free trial" services, and then started billing us $40 a month once the free trial, without notice, ended. Shifty practices. Be vigilant if you use them!

This has been a complete joke working with legal zoom. I don't think it's real other than AI. TEAS are outdated, no humans, only text and emails. Communication is horrible. Wasted almost $ 2000. 00. Go see a real live attorney if you want legal help. I was told it takes up to 7 months for the process. Sit back and wait.
Don't call them. It is absolutely scam, I had a very frustrating experience with this non-responsive company that seems to do nothing but be intent on ruining reputations. Bad experience, no customer service.

Legal zoom.com did a lovely bit of work creating my Will for me. So far everything seem to be going as planned, and I hopefully won't have to use it for several decades to come. I have filed 3 trademarks through legalzoom. Their "customer service" reps are increasingly unhelpful and downright rude. The reps' advice contradicts what other LZ reps say, and when you ask to escalate or report rep incompetence, you go into a black hole. It's unfortunate how unprofessional they treat a repeat customer.

Be prepared when you want to cancel a subscription that is included with a premium service you purchase - plan to spend 20 minutes on hold since the extension they tell you to call does not work. Poor poor service. I won't use them again even though my LLC set up went rather smooth. I am too busy for this type of hostage situation.

These stupid people have put 3 holds on my Will. Each time they tell me a different reason why. Cant they condense these issues into 1 hold? Makes zero sense. I regret giving them any of my money and really wish I went elsewhere. BUYER BEWARE

I waited over 45 minutes with a simple question on hold and no one answered. Understaffed and advisers are totally unqualified. Your taking a real big risk if you use Legal Zoom to set up you company. Buyer beware!
