After four years of not communicating with LegalZoom they were extremely cooperative on getting my account recovered and up to date. When it came to federal law they were prompt to keep me updated on mandates and regulations. Very professional and well mannered business.
The most horrible customer support and the longest wait times I have ever experienced. I purchased an LLC package with all the bells and whistles to include expedited processing. After two months of waiting, broken promises from customer support ("It will be finished today, we are so sorry for the wait..."), many unanswered questions, no contact, hours on the phone and in chat rooms, and a refusal to refund services not rendered, I cannot recommend LegalZoom.
After a poor customer experience because of a legalzoom error, Juli did a great job calming me down and processing my order. She was flexible and patient with me, and most importantly made things right very quickly.
Registering on the website was straightforward and intuitive. My guide Jonathan was helpful, professional, warm and kind to a new business owner. I appreciate his ability to convey things I didn't realize when I was registering that will be helpful benefits.

I opened chat in the hopes of having a smooth cancellation of an order placed over the weekend. Not only did Aimee meet my expectations, she exceeded them. I did not know if I would be able to cancel my order online. She assured me I was able to. Aimee also showed me where to see that my order was cancelled and that the refund was in progress. She did an excellent job at helping and being courteous.

Sleazy... scammy... would not use them. You're better off finding an inexpensive attorney than spending money on documents that will not protect you. Tried them for a LLC with no help from them to help direct the prompts that create the documents that are to protect you. Plus all they try to do is prompt you with add on and unnecessary fees. Stay away!

Well I fired you guys once after I waited 6 hrs to be told you wouldn't do something simple. Was going to try again but not after scanning reviews (one third negative)... for really simple things, and looks like you're scamming clients too.

Our business is registered in over 15 states. For annual reporting and RA renewal it does no longer display the State name on the order nor the payment. The order number for the payment does not tie to the order number of any renewals. I now have to call to get that information. I was told to match the dates to tie it.
I completely understand the need to simplify. But this bare bone website does not give me the info needed. Will probably go elsewhere to get those done in the future.

I tried to file a small claims with legalzoom for the state of Florida. I paid $69.95 and received court forms. No filing and no serving, just one page prepared form for broward county with instructions on how to file and how to serve. I could of done this myself.
There are more comprehensive companies out there that can conduct the complete service; dear consumer do a little more research. I would refer www.civiltree.com; i had great experience with them and they handled everything. Also check out www.smallciams123.com.
I am in customer service, and it always baffles me how I never seem to receive the same quality I am required to provide for my customers. Today was an exception, Aimee was awesome, she listened and was kind when I was flustered, she expedited my needs quickly and efficiently.

I have had legalzoom services for three years and for the first year what ever was discussed or said was done. But after the first year literally ever time any change was made to any legal documents or a new service was purchased the changes where not done or the amount that was charged was completely different or the wrong service was changed and I have had to get on multiple calls with them to correct the situation while they play pass the hot potato from department to department even sometimes having my call transferred back to the original department that I started the call with. I would warn anyone that is considering to use their services to just not do it.
I callled LegalZoom after receiving their letter regarding an annual filing. I was fortunate to have Jason answer my call. After pulling up my account he knew exactly what I needed. He handled my call in less than ten minutes. He was professional and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

They screwed up my articles of organization so I am having trouble getting an LLC bank account and it took them twice as long as they said it would. If they need info to finish what you want they won't reach out to you so I had to check back constantly.

I am more than disappointed with Legalzoom and their slow service... I have been working for 3 months trying to get my application for a non-profit completed. I have gotten nothing but the run around with the standard... "we have 7 to 10 business days to process your request"! 7-10 business days... right... IT'S BEEN 3 MONTHS! When I once again called to get a status..."Shannon" got snippy with me and told me she would "but in a return call request to the supervisor which takes 2-3 business days". I would like for someone at LegalZoom to call me back ASAP!

We hired Legal Zoom to set up our LLC. We were not advised of them setting themselves up as our Registered Agent. By them doing so we were being billed $299 per year for this service. I have to go through the Secretary of State website to remove them as our Registered Agent and pay them $15. They will not credit me back the money until they have been officially removed. When I called them and asked them to remove themselves from the LLC they told me I had to do it with the Secretary of State and once they verified it they would credit me back. I asked them what exactly they did for the $299 and they hung up on me. This is crazy. If they put it on there, they should be able to remove themselves. They don't do anything for us for $299 a year.

I am going through a divorce currently, and times are very difficult. I spoke to Melanie on the chat Feature and she got me the documents I needed immediately. I thought it would be a lot harder than it was. She was wonderful!

I had an issue with the name of the business when I just completed the package. Somehow there was a second LLC added to the end of the business name. Aimee fixed it for me and sent confirmation. Great and fast customer service.

I called to inquire about a legal process. The LegalZoom agent spent the time needed to educate me on the process and give me all the information and templates that I needed in order to initiate it. He was not pushy, gave me multiple options, he appropriately did not give legal advice but steered me to discuss with an attorney those questions that needed consultation, 5 stars.

This company has been awful at literally every step! They have overcharged me on numerous occasions. All calls require at least an hour of your time and shuffling from one department to the next. They even charged a cancelled card (I canceled with B of A almost a year earlier) and they found a way to reopen my closed credit card and make charges to it due to phantom recurring fees that I expressly opted out of! Awful, awful, awful! I turned to a real accountant and lawyer for my current services and realized that Legalzoom overcharged, overcomplicates. And preys on entrepreneurs at their most vulnerable time (startup)!

I was hoping the Advanced Directive and Living Will forms would give you ability to answer specific questions about your wishes and bring up situations to elicit a more informed answer but it is very generic and basically asks you if you want to be maintained on life support and if you want your organs donated. If I were you, I would just type up your wishes and sign it yourself. It will save you the money.

One year I signed up for "RA + Legal Form" and the next year I tried to cancel. They charged me anyway and I had to argue with them to get a refund. This year? They charged me twice! (I kid you not.) Charged me twice for a service that I tried to have cancelled years ago. They refunded one of the charges but not the other. Get a real lawyer... it'll be cheaper in the long run.

I had several questions when it came to my package getting an LLC, questions about a registered agent, virtual mail, etc. I talked to Jazmine, an agent there. Not only was she very professional, but she was also very knowledgeable about my services. She understood my needs. She was even able to get me in contact with someone who could get my voters registration card sent to me because I needed to use that as a secondary ID in order to get my virtual mail address processed. She was patient, and she was happy to hear me out. She also took the time to explain why I needed a registered agent, and she made me feel really comfortable with choosing an agent through LegalZoom. I feel like I made a great decision because of her. LegalZoom itself has great options for obtaining an LLC. They also have a payment plan if you wanted to split your payments for three months which I think is amazing. I would recommend them to anyone!
