After four years of not communicating with LegalZoom they were extremely cooperative on getting my account recovered and up to date. When it came to federal law they were prompt to keep me updated on mandates and regulations. Very professional and well mannered business.
The most horrible customer support and the longest wait times I have ever experienced. I purchased an LLC package with all the bells and whistles to include expedited processing. After two months of waiting, broken promises from customer support ("It will be finished today, we are so sorry for the wait..."), many unanswered questions, no contact, hours on the phone and in chat rooms, and a refusal to refund services not rendered, I cannot recommend LegalZoom.
I ordered to register my trademark with Legal zoom. They didn't file my application correctly. They didn't include the translation of the trade mark. Due to the incorrect filing my application is pending and I have to submit translation and pay additional $50 fee to the USPTO. When I called Legal zoom to resolve this issue I was told that "they are not lowers and not responsible for the CORRECT filing of the application. They can't guarantee that they collected all necessary information from the client to file an application correctly."
So, they are charging a fee to provide service which they don't know how to provide. Stay away and go to professionals!
I called to ask some questions about my non-profit. And lady I spoke with was very pleasant and answered what she could and what she couldn't, because she couldn't give legal advice, told me to get in contact with a lawyer or I could use their legal services.

They are charging my credit card without my knowledge or any service. I have took service once butafter then they charged my card twice and i am disputing that charge. Do not give them your credit card information.

I like LegalZoom very much, although when they "farmed out" a deed search to GoDeeds, they both forgot about me and didn't contact me for a month - I had to call them to see what was taking so long. (GoDeeds said they had sent me an email, but I never got it - LegalZoom never checked on it either.) The only other thing about LegalZoom is that it is next to impossible to speak to someone without waiting for a rather long period of time. You can leave your number for a callback, but, again, it may take a very long time to get the callback. Wish they would hire a couple more clerks to take customer calls!
I would, however, recommend LegalZoom to everyone. The final product looks very good.

The company had my information for weeks and still has yet to submit my trademark to USPTO. The wait times are long and when I was finally was able to speak to someone. He (some arrogant young man) made it his purpose to tell me that he couldn't help me. He said that I called the processing department... well isn't that what is holding the submission up... the processing department! Horrible! This company may be good for incorporations but the processing department lacks the professionalism to handle trademark submissions.

They have a robot call you once if you dont get the call the account is on hold untill you check it but their Payment is certainly not on hold!
Then when you call in they state their a j missing on your name some where is that how you want it paid extra to get it done in 7 days it has been almost 2 months now and the attendant had the nerve to be extreemly rude!

Over a year ago I paid for my LLC with LegalZoom. The operator left off part of my LLC's name. I call back and I speak to a manager, a manager was not available I never received a call back from a manager I kept calling they told me that I only can get a call back from a manager. I called two weeks ago and the manager was supposed to call me back never received a call back the young lady stated that they tried to email me and they called but never left a voicemail. I never got an email or call. The young lady hung up in my face. I was told that I have to repay to get the name corrected.
I requested an LLC registration
Then was told they could not process it unless I contacted an attorney
However they debited my credit card in excess of R******* and and continue to do so each month. I am still waiting for a refund.

There must be alternatives to LegalZoom. My 1st dba with them took over 6 months to register. I needed a 2nd dba and took my chances. LegalZoom took my money without blinking but won't complete my dba because they have "a question" but refuse to answer emails or their phone. See the screenshot of me waiting almost TWO HOURS *after* their computer called me back to "avoid wait time."
So, I am about to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge like I would with a third world country or Irreputable vendor such as Legal Zoom is.
My advice -- either DO IT YOURSELF, or find another service to use.
Legal Zoom was fine 10 years ago but today it is bloated, unprofessional and evidently fraudulent.
Brittany was EXCELLENT. I needed a curated service that was not listed on the site. I called in and got Brittany. She explained what I needed and waited for me to get through the purchase successfully.

Do not use Legal Zoom. They are overpriced and have terrible customer service. Most disturbingly is that they raised the price of a product by $100 without any notice and then had 3 hour wait times to speak with a representative. While other companies are working to help small businesses during COVID, Legal Zoom is raising their prices and then dodging calls to cancel the overpriced rip off service. I spent 4 hours trying to reach them to cancel the product that was literally DOUBLED in price and am still out of luck. Please please please do NOT use Legal Zoom.

I used this company to register my business and get me my original documents. I so regret it! It was way too expensive and all they do now is charge me every year just to tell me I gotta get my report in that's it! I paid close to 1k to start up when I could of done it myself for $100 yep I was stupid! Now I cancelled with them as my agent and tell them I got it myself and they said okay you won't be charged and boom! They hit me with another $270 or something like that! Yep it's a complete waste of money unless you like to pay out the $#*! for harassing emails and texts. Save your money and do it yourself! Don't use these overpriced leeches. Guess I have to give a star to leave a review. Y'all should add a negative star option as well cuz they belong deeeep in the negative
I used legal zoom and wasn't happy with what they provided.So I thought I had canceled it. Checked my credit card statement was billed for another month. Started searching for a number to talk to a live person. Wasn't any number that I could find that gave me anything but a recording or if I knew an extension number but didn't give any type of a index. Finally just typed in 4 number and got a live person, told him my situation and he said he would transfer me to someone that could help. Next thing I know I was transfer right back to there main number with nothing but recordings. I can see that they do all they can to stop you from canceling.

As an established LLC, we were needing to form a DBA to support our expansion.
From start to finish the time it took to secure our information to form the DBA was under 15 minutes.
Also the licensing and all legal documents for us to expand legally was done within that 15 minute block of time.
