The lenses took too long to make, apparently there was a quality control issue, so they had to remake my lenses. My frames are completely scratched up, which I wouldn't mind, but they actually damaged the frame while putting in the lenses with a deep scratch. I've never had a frame scratched before like this. Also, these are the thickest 'thin' lenses I've had in 10 years with the same prescription.
The only thing good about the whole experience was the initial step of measuring / submitting my prescription.

I didn't have really high expectations because I've replaced lenses before from another company and they were "so-so". When I put on my new progressive lens sunglasses, they were perfect! I am very satisfied, plus they sent me a nice new case and lens cleaner, nice touch.
All went well in ordering. It took a very long time. I was expecting it take 1-2 weeks but it took almost 2 months.

The blue light filter lenses are legit blue lenses. When you look at them they are not clear at all, they look deep blue and then when you put them on everything looks yellow. Really terrible.

I always heard that they worked on a 2 week schedule to fulfill your order and they did just that. I'm a big believer in customer service and they did what they said they would do. Delivered my glasses on time and I really do like my new glasses. I came out of pocket for them without insurance, so it means something when I get what I expect to be paying for.
After waiting for over six weeks, I can't believe this has happened. I just received a parcel from Lensabl thinking it was going to be my new glasses with new frames and new lenses. What they did is returned to me my broken frames that they broke with new lenses but without the new frames. What is going on? Where are the new frames they promised me? The eyeglasses they just sent to me I cannot wear because the frames are broken. Why did they send me new lenses with the old broken frames?

Worst online shopping experience I've ever had. And I shop online almost every day. Their customer service is almost nonexistent. Don't bother phoning them. They'll never return your call. They won't answer your questions. They always refer to the lab. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I got no response. You will regret doing business with these people. And throughout the whole process they never took responsibility to prioritize my order even though it was taking weeks and weeks and weeks.
Sent two frames in - came back to me a lot quicker than I expected. One of the frames would just fall off my face. They took it upon themselves to tighten the frames and they fit like a glove. Was expecting to have to take them somewhere after the fact so I was pleasantly surprised. They were both perfect.
Appreciated getting an email notifying me there was a delay because of quality control. Glasses arrived today in a lovely white case as opposed to the traditional boring black! Will definitely be back!
I need the lens adjusted. I can read when the glasses are about an inch off the bridge of my nose. It was not made correctly. Reading part of lenses need to be higher on lens. Please contact me
First off, I'll say that the customer service was somewhat helpful and very responsive over the course of my order and when I did finally receive glasses, the lenses are functional and the no-fog coating works as advertised.
Unfortunately the reason I needed to repeatedly correspond with customer service while my order was being processed was because my order was constantly being delayed. In total, it took over 6 weeks between when I shipped my frames and received finished glasses. Shipping time should have not been an issue as the order was only being sent around Los Angeles County. On receipt, the online tracker reported that it would take 5 business days, barring an inspection failure, to produce my glasses. After 2 weeks, I asked for an update on my order and was told that it would be ~1 day until my order was complete. I'm not sure why it took 2 weeks to tell me it would be 1 more day to complete when the order was only supposed to take 5 days. 3 days after that, after there was no update on the tracker, I contacted customer service again and was told that my frames had gotten lost at some point and they had ordered replacement frames. I was not contacted when the frames were lost and nobody asked what model of frames I had originally sent to make sure they re-ordered the correct ones. 2 weeks later I contacted service again when there was no update on my order and was told that 5 days prior, the lenses had failed inspection and were being reworked and would be done in 2-3 days. The finished glasses were sent 2 days later. When I received my glasses, the frames were similar to the ones I had initially sent, but not the same. The model and color were the same, but the inlay was different. If someone had confirmed with me what frames I had sent when they made their initial mistake, this issue could have been avoided. I am still waiting on resolution for this issue.

Lensabl did a good job from start to finish. My prescription (which is a complicated one) is correct and glasses arrived in new case with a care kit, i. E. cloth and cleaning solution.
My only critique was the turn-around time but they answered my continued queries as to, "how much longer?"
The entire process was step by step and easy to follow. The only part I had difficulty with was the selfie with the credit card held under my nose, but persistence paid off. The turn around time for my glasses was well within what I find acceptable considering it is a cross country. Most importantly, my glasses are perfect, so now my sunglasses are heading your way!
Wasnt sure if Lensabl could live up to their claim of placing new prescription lenses in just about any type of frame, but they did. In my case placing lenses in wrap-around sunglass frames, that a local retail Optometrist didn't want to risk doing. Lensabl did a great job.

Lensabl is one of very few Bose partners to equip Bose frames with presc. Lenses. The website allows for detailed configuration and the chat boosts the customer experience by direct (not a robot!) human answer. The ability for direct conversation was a key differentiator for the buy decision towards Lensabl and accelerated the custom order of lenses only (no frames needed). Order was place on Dec. 23rd '20, shipping on Feb. 5th '21 and pack received in Germany on March 10th '21 with tracking by USPS. It is worth noting that Lensabl made an exception to shipping outside of the U.S. The lens quality in material, crafting and packing is outstanding, perfect condition. The lenses require a very gentle but firm hand to snap into the frames. They are made to fit perfectly tight. Packaging includes a nice leather frame box and cleaning kit. Payment was clear and instant using Paypal. Very attractive discount was applied, so the effective price point is very competitive. Custom orders do need time to process and - given the manufacturing process of curved lenses for Bose tempo (close to impossible) with transition vantage - the order completion time is very acceptable. 100% happy German customer and many thanks to Megan, Rhinna, Jayme, Ann and all the folks on the team for making this possible. Expect more intl. Orders to come as Bose doesn't seem to have a lens partner in Germany.
Ordering replacement lenses for my vintage lenses was so easy through this website! I sent them in bubblewrap and they were returned in a nice box with a case, cleaning cloth, and cleaning spray. I ordered them and shipped them out the next day and got them back within 10 days.

Answer: I purchased some really awesome vintage glasses with octagonal black plastic frames made in France, probably from the late 1960s or early 1970s. I was so excited to have them made into sunglasses. I took them to my local optical shop and was told, "I hope you didn't spend much on these because you wasted your money. No one will touch frames this old, because the plastic is so brittle it will just shatter." I was so disappointed. I tossed them in a drawer and forgot about them for a few months. Then I saw an ad for Lensabl online. I contacted them and asked if they could work with vintage frames, and the answer was "No problem!" I was nervous to send the frames in but figured I didn't have anything to lose. I just received the glasses back in the mail today (two weeks from when I mailed them in), and they are incredible! The frames were cleaned and straightened, and the new lenses are perfect. I love them so much. Thanks, Lensabl!
Answer: They clearly don't have the infrastructure set up to be in this business where each frame is a customer order. In cases like they they are not staffed with customer services that can be actually helpful which only result in wrongly made glasses. They broke my glasses and are not trying to it at all. I posted review on here before and then it just disappeared for some reason, I'm not sure if they are paying people to get rid of negative reviews.
Answer: Transitions take an upwards of 30 seconds to Transition. The weather conditions can impact the Transition time. Brighter and warmer outside conditions= transitions faster.
