I posted a review about a terrible experience with lids on 12-3-23 and fan relations reached out to me and basically made me more mad. Today lids customer service resolved the issue within 20 minutes. I know people make mistakes and that's ok but when a business takes accountability for their mistakes shows they care, and at the end of the day that's all you can hope for. I'm completely satisfied with the outcome and look forward to more purchases from lids.
If I could there will not be ONE star! The site needs to specify very boldly that you're not directly ordering from LIDS and that you're ordering from a company that's partnered with LIDS! Very inconvenient to return and customers aren't able to return to store! Will never ever and I mean never ever order again! Misleading
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I purchased a hat 3 weeks ago and received it 4 times every time it was the wrong size. I had to go back and forth to the post office 4 separate times for the same hat. Told customer service the problem the apologized and continued to make the same mistake. I no longer will receive the hat I purchased as a gift because I don't have time to keep returning the EXACT SAME SIZE hat (incorrect size) ever two days. Supervisors are no help and apologize, but do not know how to correct a simple mistake. Absolutely ridiculous and I would never recommend this company or shop there again.
I called to verify if an order that I placed for my husband had arrived. The first sales agent was not very helpful and he passed me off to the store manager Jordan. I thought great now I will receive the service that a customer deserves. I was wrong. He was even more rude. I asked him if he would be willing to help me and he told me to "RELAX." After I told him about how I was treated initially he stated "Well your hat is here and there's no need to talk about it further." My husband is a big fan of Lids and I am so mad and shocked that I was spoken to that way.
Purchased an NBA hoodie online; later I received the wrong style/model and 3 sizes smaller. I emailed customer service and after not receiving a reply for almost a week I filled out the enclosed return form and shipped it back to them.
I later received an email stating they would refund my money, minus the $9 I had to pay for shipping. Eight days later and I still haven't received my refund.
They lost a customer forever over $9 dollars; what terrible "customer service."
I have tried 4 times to order jerseys online. Each time the transaction is 'accepted & confirmed', but the next day I get an email saying they had to cancel the transaction. When I was lucky enough to speak to a customer rep, she was rude and not helpful. What a waste of my time. Do NOT shop here! I'm going to contact the BBB and FCC.

I went to the Lids near Destin Fl, I asked the man at the front counter if he could help reach a hat on the top shelf, the man shoved a ladder in my direction and didn't say anything. After that, I didn't not want to buy anything else from him so headed to the counter to checkout. He completely ignored me for about 5 minutes and then finally silently checked me out. After he processed my card he asked if i needed a bag which i responded yes to and he pointed to a stack of bags which i grabbed and bagged my things myself. Will never come back (:

Ordered a product that was on sale and they would not honor the price. At first claimed it was out of stock, but when I contacted them they said they cancelled the order even though it was indeed in stock.
I ordered a sweater on Dec 12 as a xmas gift. When they sent a confirmation they said it would not arrive until Jan 19. I contacted them immediately. The customer rep said she could not respond but that someone would get back to me soon. I waited three days and called again. The rep said they would cancel the order and refund my money but that it would take 3-5 days for the credit to appear on my credit card. The following day I got an email saying they could not allow the refund because the sweater was customized. I pointed out that the rep had already agreed to give the refund. If the original rep had cancelled when I requested the customization would not have come up. When I was told I was getting a refund I bought another sweater elsewhere. I am a senior and can't afford to buy another sweater that I don't need because the company did not respond in a timely fashion.

Ordered (1) item...a pair of Alabama slides on July 23rd, today is Aug.8 and still no delivery. Spoke to custome service 5 days ago and was rudely told delivery was 3-7 business days after processing, well Mr. Asian man I spoke to, today makes 12 business days and tracking doesn't tell me anything different than it did 9 days ago. I will NEVER NEVER order from lids online EVER again in my life! Not sure if I'll even receive this order.
Avoid at all costs. They cancelled my order, did not notify me and did not refund. Had to contact Visa to get refund. Order was never shipped and apparently cancelled for no reason. Customer service is a joke, they copy paste the same message. AVOID!
I bought 9 items from Lids.com for my boyfriend only to find out they would be shipping out separately, however that is not the bad part. Upon receiving one of the 4 packages, there is a note inside handwritten by the way that says oops, the other item that was supposed to be in this shipment are not. Ok... next package comes. Two shirts and they are balled up in a bag. Ok idk about you but when i pay my hard earned money the least you could do is fold the shirt I'm not sure you if you all ball up your clothing i store but i don't. Third thing i never got the 3rd package after it says delivered. (it's still not here) the other package is to be delivered today and I'm pretty sure it wont make a difference in my opinion about LIDS.
Shipping charges are a ripoff they dont ship your items any faster by choosing to pay extra rather than just getting free shipping even the next day air is the better part of a week just remember the items lids sells are not lids exclusive items. There is other places to buy these things and they dont offer you to pay more for shipping to get your merchandise in the same time frame
I ordered some items on Thursday around noon. I paid for the next day shipping so that I could have my items for a game on Saturday. Here it is Monday afternoon, and I still don't have my order. Customer service gave me a BS justification as to why I haven't received my order. I WON'T order from them again!
I had a coupon for Lids, so instead of buying off shop.mlb.com, where I've had NO trouble, I tried Lids. I will never buy from them again. I got the run around when trying to get my order shipped. It wasn't correct and it ruined Father's Day and a trip to the ballpark to see them team (they aren't from around here and I really wanted my husband and sons to have their hats for the games, but that didn't happen.) I tried to use chat, email, phone and social media. Unfortunately, there wasn't ONE CSR who even seemed to care that there was an issue.
Hope ur checking this review site BEFORE u decided to order from LIDS! Item I ordered was cheap crap that only looks good online. LIDS website is designed to discourage/prevent returns. Another unfortunate reminder to me to check websites I have never ordered from beforehand.
I ordered the wrong size frame and I sent it back and the correct was mailed out to me without waiting for them to receive the wrong one back. Great service. I would buy from them again. Thanks for everything. Troy D.
I ordered a hat (the 4th one in a matter of weeks) I noticed once I placed the order online it immediately said my order was complete. The order never shipped and it takes about 6 to 7 days for me to get an online order shipped to my store ( for free shipping) I went to the store to see what was going on and the girl just gave me a phone number to call didn't help me just sat there and played on her phone.
I made two purchases with Lids. The first I never received. The second, they told me the purchase was sent to the store. I went to the store they didn't have it. For 8 days I call customer service trying to locate my order and figure out why I was told the order was at the store. They could not tell me. They then told me the package may have been lost and I ordered the last one. But they still were not sure, and could not give me any answers as to what happened to the merchandise I ordered. Customer service could not answer any questions and refused to give me a number for corporate. I will never purchase from them again.
I like ordering online just as much as I like shopping in their stores. They always have the latest styles and designs, shipping is fast, and their customer service has always been helpful during the few times I've needed them.
I ordered three hoodies for a $25 sale they had. I received one of them but was charged full price for it. On top of that, they told me that the other two were out of stock and couldn't be shipped. I still haven't received a refund for those. This is by far the worst online shopping experience I've ever had.

I've ordered multiple times and never gotten and order. I have ordered 10 hats from you guys and gotten one. I'm just thankful I found fanatics, and have ordered many things through them without an issue. Lids is a joke, they have blamed shipping issues on UPS for the last three time. I literally have around 200 dollars on the online website and have received nothing, but a 30% off coupon. I can't express more that I would never ever recommend lids ever. The amount of time, and money I have wasted is almost comical, they refund the price of the hat, but not the high shipping cost. I ordered 3 hats on November 23rd as Christmas Presents, I got told today that the hats were sold out and not being shipped to me. (USE FANATICS) that how I realized its LIDs, Fanatics use's the same shipping company but it always arrives when it says.

Lids employees where first extremely rude and wouldn't take back the hats because they said they don't take back online orders in store. I then said that sounds a little crazy. Employee got very loud with me saying I don't make the F I got rules go to another store or complain if you have a problem out of nowhere.

I ordered 5 hats recently because they had a sale for $10 each, which I thought was a good deal. The first red flag was that I was initially charged for my "free" shipping. Then, when the hats arrived 2 of them were missing. If you looked at the receipt that they placed in the box, you would have no idea that any were missing. It was as if they thought I wouldn't notice that 40% of my order wasn't given to me. So I contacted customer support and was told that they'd ship it to me and email a tracking number. Instead I got an email saying that I had been refunded. I was then told that it's because the hat isn't in stock anymore. The same hat is available - and listed as in stock - on their website. Why shop somewhere that won't send you what you order? Just go somewhere else.
