This company charged my credit card twice for the same item. They either did not or would not issue a refund. They are a crooked company. Dont deal with them.
Ordered a hockey jersey and 2 days later before I received it (I paid extra for quick shipping) the jersey went on sale for over $50 less. When I contacted customer service, they said the max credit I could receive was $27.
Poor customer service if you ask me!

Ordered a Cavs outfit for my Grandson,It did not fit sized wrong had the Nike Logo So I thought it was authentic. Nope. Still trying to get s refund since Dec 27. Not sure if they're associated with the original LIDS store. Sent pics measurements (which is what they asked for) finally a message from the Mgr. So I replied and still waiting. Trying to get Mgrs. Name.
I wouldn't even give a 1 star. I purchased 2 hats as a Christmas gift. Spent $90, only to get $47 dollars back for returning both. They said I only returned 1 hat. Had to call them twice. Can't get ahold of anyone. Will never buy from them again.
I ordered a Texas longhorns hat as a Christmas gift. I received the package but they sent me a Tennessee hat. Customer service was difficult to get a hold of, and I had to start multiple chats. Finally they sent me a free shipping label and sent out a new hat. The new hat came yesterday, but when I opened the package AGAIN it was a Tennessee hat. I finally got customer service on the phone. The customer service agent tried to tell me that I ordered a Tennessee hat and when I gave him my order number with the correct hat I sat on hold for a long time. Then the agent asked me to find the item number. When I went to my conformation email and clicked on the item the hat was showing as sold out. The agent then told me that they would approve a refund, but not until the incorrect product was sent back to them. Overall I would not recommend ordering anything from this company it was a terrible experience.
If I could there will not be ONE star! The site needs to specify very boldly that you're not directly ordering from LIDS and that you're ordering from a company that's partnered with LIDS! Very inconvenient to return and customers aren't able to return to store! Will never ever and I mean never ever order again!
Misleading
They site offers free shipping ads everywhere as you shop. AFTER you finish authorizing payment the receipt show shipping fees of 5 dollars. The gag is to let you pay then act as if it is your fault not to have pre entered the shipping code. Very questionable business model. I think it reflects the true nature of the honesty of the business. I've had this happens on both Fanatics.com and Lids.com.
Ordered a hat…took a while to get here. When it arrived, it was too big. No problem, right? Wrong! Instead of being able to cruise to the mall and exchange it, I was told I had to return it via snail mail. Only took over 20 minutes of Chat with some very unhelpful person online. Now, I need to wait for the shipping label, ship it back, wait for the refund to hit my account, and purchase a different size. No customer service phone number. Never buy from a place that refuses to take returns at a local store and doesn't have a phone number for customer support. Place is trash.
Had to cancel order due to surprise cost on shipping they conveniently hid from me on checkout page.
I ordered my son a hoodie and socks from lids.com for Christmas. Was due to come the 20th. Still waiting.
I ordered 3 gifts for a friends birthday with the standard shipping, thinking they would arrive in 3-5 business days. I received an email 1 minute (!) after placing the order telling me that the entire order was cancelled. I did not cancel it. The items showed that they were in stock when I placed the order. Everything looked ok. So what happened? I tried to find out from Customer Service but the chat bot was useless and there was no phone number to be found to talk to a LIVE ADVISOR. Never again will I do business with Lids!
I got a gift for holidays i went to get a refund cause they didnt have anything i liked. Im frim Houston Texas and being in Pennsylvania the houston hats are not very popular ao i asked for acrefund but the policy says it goes back on card that was used to purchase it. IT WAS A GIFT. So now im stuck with this item. I live in lids never returned anything. This changes my mind on buying caps here. I had the recite whats the problem. LIDS CAN TAKE THE MONEY BUT NOT REFUND IT BACK ON GIFT ITEMS
I posted a review about a terrible experience with lids on 12-3-23 and fan relations reached out to me and basically made me more mad. Today lids customer service resolved the issue within 20 minutes. I know people make mistakes and that's ok but when a business takes accountability for their mistakes shows they care, and at the end of the day that's all you can hope for. I'm completely satisfied with the outcome and look forward to more purchases from lids.

A company of liars. Tried to buy two items and apply the "sitewide" discount Discount was excluded from items. No way to reach a human. Awful. No one should ever use these cheats.
Took my $160aud and delivered nothing. The tracking numbers they provided were false. 6 weeks to date since I made this purchase and never received my items. They will not reply to emails! Avoid Lids at all costs. I literally hate this company if that's what you would even call it. Thief's are happy to take your money but be assured you will never receive your items. Pathetic $#*!wits!

Hope ur checking this review site BEFORE u decided to order from LIDS! Item I ordered was cheap crap that only looks good online. LIDS website is designed to discourage/prevent returns. Another unfortunate reminder to me to check websites I have never ordered from beforehand.
I will never buy at lids.com again, I ordered two caps of the same size and one arrived different from the other, in order to return, I have to pay 9.99 dollars or they have to give me a gift card, I went to the store in person and they told me that They couldn't exchange it for me in size or for the same size as I had to return it by mail, I honestly don't recommend lids.com
Purchased Jersey and tried to exchange with receipt within 30mins and was declined. Unworn, with tags and receipt as the printed return policy on receipt and online states. I did not want my money back, just a different size, WITHIN MINUTES!
