I posted a review about a terrible experience with lids on 12-3-23 and fan relations reached out to me and basically made me more mad. Today lids customer service resolved the issue within 20 minutes. I know people make mistakes and that's ok but when a business takes accountability for their mistakes shows they care, and at the end of the day that's all you can hope for. I'm completely satisfied with the outcome and look forward to more purchases from lids.
If I could there will not be ONE star! The site needs to specify very boldly that you're not directly ordering from LIDS and that you're ordering from a company that's partnered with LIDS! Very inconvenient to return and customers aren't able to return to store! Will never ever and I mean never ever order again! Misleading
Don't buy from them! They don't care about their customers! Ordered 2 day air on the 18th. Checked tracking today to see it arriving on the 27th via ground shipping... Contacted them several times with no resolve. Basically told me it is what it is & didnt care at all.

Was shopping for hats. Asked for help to see hats on top level. Girl was too busy on phone then was annoyed that I wanted to see hats that couldn't be reached without a step ladder. She kept asking if that was all? So, that she could get back to her social media. Very bad customer service at Orange Park Mall.
They really don't deserve the one star... Showed up at 10:15 and they weren't open yet asked one of the local stores and was told they open whenever they want... the employee was in there she was ignoring us standing outside the gate so we left.
Order a shirt and baby pajama to be shipped to a local store. Honestly I'm new to the area and didn't know that the store i chose to send my package to didn't exist. I called a week later and they had no clue where the package was. I asked them to send it to my house, they said for my troubles they'll next day ship the package. I said wow, they f'd up and but they're doing their best. Well a week later i call again and the agent says is was just shipped out today... uhh what? I'm curious I will wait for it but my gut says I won't get it soon. I'll wait to call again to demand a refund

Ordered another christmas present and I have been on hold of 1hr 30min and no help. It keeps telling me the agents are busy. The live chat does not work either. I also called over 2hrs ago and did the option of them calling me back and no response.
I am the HUGEST Titans fan and I got all sorts of gear here before I went to college. The prices were pretty much the same as in sports stores in the Mall, but they had like 10 times more choice of clothes and stuff for my dorm room. One bad thing is though that shipping seemed to take a long time. But if you are looking for sports wear or fan products that you don't find in Malls, then check out fanzz - I think they are based out in UT, maybe thats why the shipping took a while?
I placed several orders for Lids in a short period of time, all to be shipped to my local store. Most of the orders were received and in a reasonable amount of time, but my largest order (which consisted of items I was most looking forward to) was simply looked over. I called them a few weeks later to find out where my items were, and was told that they weren't sure what happened, but most of the items were now out of stock. I was really upset about this, but wasn't offered much beyond a refund. This happened with another, smaller order as well, and although the items were still in stock and I told them I still wanted them, they issued a refund anyway. Oh well. Won't make a habit out of ordering from here any time soon.
I ordered a Orange Donavan Mitchell Jazz Jersey and they sent me a barf green colored jersey and when I emailed the customer support to try to exchange it for the Original order they responded with this "Hello,
Thanks for your photos. We are so sorry to hear that and apologize for you on behalf of our company. As you know our price is wholesale price, the price is very low. If you donot like it, we suggest you can send or resell it to others. They may like it. What do you think? If you place orders next time. We can give you discount. Ok?" I would never order anything from these people ever again.
I ordered items on the 16th. Got my email confirmation. After that nothing no shipping date. Nothing. I notice some items were canceled from my bank statement. Its the 27th. I called customer service.and they said it arrived at the store on the 21st. No call from store nothing. Stated they were going to send it back today if I had not picked it up today. So after you order. You are left to guess. No tracking number. Email saying shipped. Call from the store. Nothing. Just getting the word out to be careful.
When I bought on sale items on website, each items provide easy 90 days free returns, so I bought lots of items in case the jackets size wrong. But when I tried to return some of them, no way to return. I went to the store, a lady chected me that the manager left earlier today, and come back the next day and I can get fully refunded. But no way, the store manager is rude and said ha has nothing to do with returns. And also websites changed no retuns, I still has pictures about free returns clause when I bought them. This company is a lier!

I've gone 3 times to 2 locations,Tanger in Grand Rapids and Rivertown in Grandville, during business hours and they've been closed every time. Online says opens at 10, sign in the window says opens at 10, but are they open? No! Just update the hours Online, how hard can it be? What a waste of time and gas and energy
I placed my order on June 9th and two day delivery. It is now the 11th and my package still hasn't arrived and I was never provided a tracking number. In my years of ordering online I have NEVER experienced unprofessional people like this.
A month ago I did some work for lids and because they were having a grand opening, I put them at the top of the list. I was given the opportunity to do work for them and thought it would help my company. When corporate contacted me and asked if I could please hurry and get the job done I agreed. Now it's been over a month and I was told I would receive payment 3 Wednesdays ago. I'm a full-time father raising an 8 year old daughter on my own and the last thing I need is to wait for money with no response. Lids has no contact information with corporate and you're stuck talking to people who take orders for hats. I have one number and one email for one person in corporate and it's not helping. This company has no punctuality is bad for business. I gave them a really good deal on my services and they even double booked me with another contractor that was grinding concrete while I was deep cleaning the entire store. As a business owner I've realized each job pays for the next job and this company has put me in a bad place.
Ordered a tshirt it didn't arrive. Ordered a replacement. It didn't arrive. I called, they could send again but since I didn't get the first two I canceled instead. They couldn't send me out one fast. They couldn't call UPS to find out why. They couldn't do anything to help except cancel the order. What a waste of time! Don't do it, you'll never get your merchandise!
I placed an order 14 days ago, only one item in my 75 dollar order arrived. I contacted customer service once and was told I would have an update on about 48 hours. Three days go by still no response. I contact customer service again at which point I am told my order has been lost and all they can do is issue me a refund for the remaining items WHICH COULD TAKE UP TO 30 DAYS. I'd leave a rating of zero if that was an option.
Fanzz online customer service is a joke! I had to contact them 5-6 times to TRY to get my item shipped and each time they said they would "resolve the issue" and someone would call me within the hour but NEVER did, I couldn't even get a successful money return from them, I had to contact my bank to handle it!
Definitely will not be buying anything from Fanzz any longer!

I placed order # ******* on November 23rd 2015. I received an email it was shipped and received to store Lids Store 6071 on December 4th. I have taken time out of my day to visit that store 3 times and it's still not there. I spend a lot of money at your store and have for years. I just looked at the tracking and it says it is on the truck today?!?
The customer service has been unsatisfactory trying to get a hold of someone in corporate, requesting a call back, receiving a callback, call back happens HOURS later when I might or might not be around the phone that split second, which occurred a FEW times. I would have to rinse and repeat the call back, multiple times!
A confidant of mine suggested taking my business to fanatics.com which I plan to after this whole debacle.
**update** After I submitted this review, the automessage said they would be in response within 48 hours... guess what? It's been 72 hours and no contact. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

Bought two hats for $66 including shipping. Hats were cheaply made crap made with cheap materials. I had the joy of paying them $18 after my "Refund." Real scammers here. BUYER BEWARE!

I ordered two hats for $41.98 plus $7.99 shipping, a total of $49.97. When I received the hats in two separate boxes, they were a size too small for my head. I took a trip to a Lids location to make an exchange and they claimed I could not do it in store and had to ship the hats back.
I followed the prompts on Lids.com to initiate a return. I found out that return shipping would cost $9.99. That's an absurd amount for a package that weighs well under a pound. They populated two return labels, one for each hat. I only used one label and put both hats in one box with the other label because I thought they might charge me twice. To get the right size, I'd have to make a new order and pay $7.99 shipping again. That's $25.97 in shipping for a simple exchange for size. That's a lot of money to ship two hats that weigh next to nothing.
But it gets better... they did charge me $9.99 twice for shipping despite me sending the two hats in one box. Out of the $49.97 I paid initially, I received $18.03 refunded to me. So two hats that did not fit which I simply wanted to exchange cost me $31.94 only to end up empty handed.
I recommend you do everything you can to avoid shopping online with this company. They are clearly thieves and can't be trusted to provide quality service. I've never seen anything like this before. Their customer service never responded to my message about this theft. I will never do business with this company ever again.
Customer Service is Non-Existent! Was on Hold for 49 Minutes (I Kid You Not!). They Sent my Order in 4 separate Deliveries and ALL TO THE WRONG LOCATION! They Told me I had to get in touch with FedEx & USPS to have them hold packages for me for pick up. I asked them to Cancel my order within 10 Minutes of Completion Online and they said they are not able to? Worst Experience EVER. If I could give them ZERO or Negative Stars I would but cannot.
Purchased a couple items online for gifts for christmas on December 8th got my order the 20th and a hat I ordered as a present didnt come. Called customer service and they told me they are now sold out of the size I needed. They were not very concerned that they screwed up my order. I had them just refund my money. Extreally disapointed!
Ordered a simple Fedora for a man in a nursing home as an anonymous gift. What did Lids do? They chose to use the slowest, cheapest delivery option, USPS, which can't find it's way in broad daylight!
Nor can the USPS compete with a single private carrier even if they bought new horses for theres outdated, snail mail, pony express.
I should have known from the start something about this was not going to work out.
First they manipulated the order date, they show 12. 5. 2015 my credit card was charged on 12. 2. 2015.
So what happens, the gift giving was yesterday, I had to run out and try to find a Fedora, as to not disappoint someone because of Lids/Locker Room gross negligence.
The best is calling "Customer Care", that is of course only if you have many hours to kill on hold or have them call back at 10pm. Lids, cannot obviously handle volume or a simple order during the holiday season. I can't imagine
What "Lids" people do on the off-season. Total and complete mismanagement.
