I've had the life360 app for a few months &overall, it's given me &my circle more peace of mind. I don't feel like my privacy is being invaded like I thought I would &I've never had any issues with the app not functioning properly. The real test was last night, I had to call for roadside assistance after AAA told me (after 3hrs waiting for them to show up) they were sorry but they wouldn't be able to make it out to me at all. I was in disbelief and livid as it was now pretty late &I'm in an unfamiliar area. Anyway the light bulb clicked on &I remembered I have roadside assistance through the 360 app! Long story short, one phone call to the service technician &he then sent me one text that included a live link to my request of service showing me the drivers ETA &all other necessary information to keep me informed! I am so happy &I'm grateful for this app! Well worth the annual price &will continue to recommend to everyone I know!
This app is the worst thing you could've created. With the understanding that the app was designed to ensure the safety and protection of loved ones in emergency situations, it also guarantees an undesirable round of questioning. Having to download this app as a senior in high school and continue to to be demanded to remain on the app as a 21 year old college student, one could see my frustration. Constantly being asked "where are you?", "why are you there?", "why were you at this location for x hours?!" can deteriorate a relationship due to the bombardment of interrogative questions and ever so growing environment of distrust. If my parent says they trust me then why ask a myriad questions concerning my where abouts? In conclusion, do not believe the rating I give this app because if there were an option to give it 0 stars, I would with no remorse.
My daughter was in an accident today, lucky no one was seriously hurt, and the Life 360 app, I pay for the premium service did not alert or call myself or my daughter as promised. It has been iffy for sometime but today it really showed I paid for nothing. Time to find a new app!
I've had Life360 for years. My husband is an OTR truck driver and this app allows me to see where he is at any given moment. Not only that, I know he's safe... as long as he's moving, he's ok, and it tells me when he's safely at a truck stop for the night. As if that's not enough... I recently had occasion join him on some of his overnight stays hours away from where we live... even out of state... and would have had a hard time finding him except Life360 led me straight to him, no errors, no mistakes, no searching. I gladly pay the $7.99 a month fee for all it gives me. Roadside assistance, driver protect, emergency services. It's worth every penny. The negative reviews on this site are a joke!
Using this application to track my wife every time she starts acting a bit suspicious, i'm not so sure but i have a feeling she might be having an affair. I had to get this fixed by looking for an expert in trail and spouse monitoring using mobile phone tracking. Itechspyware at gmail dot com.
Was very helpful in clearing my doubts about a cheating wife.

Unreliable at best. This app is not what you need if you're keeping up with kids, loved ones, etc. Not only does the app report people "can't be located" often, it then blames the person, not their garbage app. I had both phones that we had this app installed on sitting side by side. Life360 showed one 3 blocks away and couldn't find the other. After going through the troubleshooting list it gives you and finding nothing on the list applied I sent an email asking customer service what was the deal. A week later I'm still waiting for a response. Garbage app, garbage customer service, just skip this useless waste of time.
At what point does it end? A site I thought was made to help parents maintain parental control yet whining children who apparently have something to hide pitch a fit and therefore a service I pay for no longer provides what they advertise. The fact my children are on 360 with me means they are allowed to do more because I can feel safe in knowing their status and surroundings. Alot can happen and go wrong in a 10 mile radius. Life 360 has become nothing more than a disappointment that has fallen victim to screaming toddlers.
We used the app for a while and found it helpful. However, I requested them to cancel my premium service over 10 months ago but they keep billing me every month. They have taken a happy customer and over $4.99 a month have turned us into someone that is going to be negative about them forever. Is $4.99 a month worth it Life360?
I can understand not wanting to answer phone calls, but seriously, I couldn't even submit a contact form for support. If we can't figure out your app and you don't have someone to help, then do you honestly think anyone wants to attempt further use of your product? Here's the answer: NO.
Reasons to avoid:
- It requires way too many permissions
- They sell your information to 3rd parties who in turn sell your driving history to insurance companies
- uses more background processes than almost any other app on my phone.
The rest of the reviews on here have the bugs covered pretty well so I wont beat a dead horse. Dont waste your money and risk your personal information being sold to the highest bidder.
Answer: It shows accurate time just a wrong location...
