This is the beginning of the end. Now you can keep track of your spouse, your significant other, and spend your entire day looking at their location every 15 seconds. For your kids? If they're under 15, maybe a good idea. Otherwise, just another way to ensure massive resentment in a relationship.
DO IT. YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO.
My dad was in a rollover accident a couple days ago. Life 360 sent an alert to our circle saying his phone could have been in a collision or dropped his phone and said we should try to call him. My mom and I both tried calling and no answer. When I looked to see where he was he was 6 minutes from my work. So my friend and I jumped in her truck and life 360 took me to his location. He was in an accident. I had arrived before the police and ambulance all because life 360 had alerted us. I will recommend this app to everyone!
I've been a Life360 user since September 2017. I moved from Florida to Kentucky in December 2017. Accuracy for my location was right on spot until I moved one mile away on April 1,2017 but Life360 keeps trying to say I'm still located at the old residence when I'm home. In addition, it started showing trips (2 miles or less) even though I never left the house.
Destructive to your marriage! App keeps showing I take off in the middle of the night for quickies at different locations near my home!
Wife is contacting divorce lawyer.
I would like to slap the sh%t out of the inventor.
This app is horrible, it showed my boyfriend leaving his house at 215 in the morning gone till 558 am when he arrived back at his house. He never left his house. It puts doubt where doubt doesn't need to be. Don't use it if you value your relationship.
I am on a business trip, and this morning I got a call from my husband telling me that he is leaving me because life360 said I left my hotel room and went several blocks away from 5:02 to 7:02 this morning. I was asleep in my room with my phone beside me, but how do I prove that to him? This unreliable app may have ended my marriage of 16 years.
Life360 ruined my marriage. My wife and I will be divorcing because of this app. It placed me at the hotel that is over 100 yards from the IHOP where I was having breakfast. This is not an isolated incident. It has misstated my location on ther occasions also. Save your relationships; don't buy the app.
So pleased I had this app on my new Apple 12 phone ($1000). Seems I accidentally dropped my phone while grocery shopping and so I asked customer service if someone had turned it and they said no. Got home and remembered the Life 360 app. Used it to track the phone to a house where police met us nearby and got the address from us. They doubted the accuracy of the app and gave us a report for insurance but said they would knock on the door just in case. We were all amazed that the people gave the police the phone and they returned it to me. The officer said they had never seen an app be so accurate. It was such a great ending and wouldn't have happened without Life360. Thanks!
This is the most INACCURATE app around. Now, it does occasionally get it right, probably because it is a frequently visited location. But if you want something you can truly depend on, look elsewhere! But then again. It is FREE!
As for people saying that the inaccurate information is ruining your marriage, then you already had marriage problems! An app does not make/break a relationship!
This app has ruined my family. It constantly shows my son driving at 80 to 100 mph causing my husband and I to yell at him for speeding. He swears he's not speeding and I want to believe him. We kept saying the tracker shows you were speeding. Then I read all the other reviews showing the speed inaccuracies. Wish I had read them earlier.
My boyfriend was out riding his motorcycle, and had been for hours. Then I received the call that everyone dreads, he had been in an accident. He was unsure exactly where he was, he was on a country road. I quickly pulled out life 360, and it gave me directions straight to him.
Thank you life 360... that was one thing less to worry about on that stressful day.
I know me and my fellow teen friends wish life 360 didn't even exists. I mean a tracker really? I think it's so ridiculous that we have to have something like this to make our parents feel "safe" I know good and week back then no one had this or had any knowledge of it Life 360 shouldn't be a thing nor any other tracking app honestly so sad!
Some how this site started to send me texts and there is no way to stop them or tell them I am not interested in their serves. I have to pay for texts so getting messages i don't want is like stealing from me. I texts me about 5 times a day and has been doing so for several days.
How the heck do I opt out. I am not a child and not married who the heck wants to keep tabs on me?
This app consistently gave false info about our whereabouts. I would be sitting with my son and check Life360 for my daughter and it would show that my son is around 20mi away from where our location was. Would also get frozen quite frequently and not work in some areas of town
On January 16,2018, Rachel was in a bad car accident. The car was totaled. We were paying extra for the crash detection, notifications and emergency response. Nothing went off. Luckily she was able to call us. The police notified the emergency crew. I have pictures to prove this. Dont pay for anything. It is a waste of money!
Lifer360 shows my gf was driving around her house for 20 mins. Making stops at some places and back home. When i called her, she insist she is at home. Shall i trust her? Anyone have similar experience? I called life360 support team who told me location bouncing is common but not showing the user is driving (with speed shown). Anyone can help?
The only problem I have with life 360 is sometimes it's slow letting you know where your kids are. When they are on the road it takes forever to see them moving or it waits 2 to 3 min to let you know they are at their destination.
My husband and I installed this app to find each other in a large crowd. That part works fine, but shortly after we installed it I got an odd text from my husband's work number saying that "home" wants to connect with me with a fake looking link it wanted me to click on. My husband never sent me anything from his work phone, though that number is in my contact list. It seems that somehow this a hack job. I wrote Life360 an email asking them to comment and guess what? Except for a form email, they never replied. We deleted the text and uninstalled the app immediately.
I have had the app for 3 months and use it for my phone and my son's. Until yesterday it worked great. Yesterday it gave me a notice that my son had arrived at the gym for gymnastic practice. An hour later I notice it said my son left the gym 10 minutes after arriving. It showed him at a strange house 3 miles away. I texted the gym owner and asked if my son was there. She said yes. I decided that someone must of accidently taken his gym backpack with his phone. I call but get no answer. I am afraid my car keys were also in the bad so I go to the gym to bring him my extra set of keys. He is totally confused. He has his phone in the gym locker with my keys. I show him on my phone where it says his phone is and guess what? It says I am at the same strange house three miles away. I can see where this might cause problems.
In spite of trying to cancel the premium edition within the 7 days that was posted on the installation page of google play store, i gor home from vacation and found the charge already posted on visa. Was told when i called that I only had 48 hours to get money return. Finally had to have visa card dispute the charge. Awaiting final action.
Answer: It shows accurate time just a wrong location...
