We purchased some household items from the linensnthings website because the pricing seemed good relative to other websites and we will NEVER shop there again. We tried to return one of the items and followed all of the steps online. We were unable to complete the return because the website failed to email us the return information (address, etc.) as it said it would. When we followed up with the customer service number, we were unable to reach anyone or get any additional information. I would not recommend using this website. It seems that the company is not operating its website in an ethical way since it filed for bankruptcy a few years ago.
First time I ordered from this company they sat on my order then cancelled it saying the item was out of stock, even though it was advertised as in stock. I stupidly gave them another chance, ordered a quilt as a present for my mom and ordered ahead of time so I would get in time for her birthday. A few days later they sent me a fedex tracking number... great I thought, my order has shipped this time! I checked the tracking a few days later and it was still sitting in "label created status" I gave it a few more days and same thing. I emailed the company 4 times and got no response. The last email I told them to cancel my order and refund me, and I will never do business with them again. 5 days later I finally get a generic rude response that the reason the item never shipped was because it was out of stock! UNfreakingBelievable! I had even said in my first email to them that this was a present and I needed it by a certain date, do you think they give a crap about their customers? NO they do not. Save yourself a lot of trouble and stay far away!
I ordered a set of curtains, after not receiving them in a reasonable amount of time & having never received a tracking notice... I tried to log into my account and was unable to log in. I tried again to log in from a different computer, I was unable to log in. LNT had no record of my account. But, I had the e-mail that welcomed my new account. Confused I called the company, I spoke with someone who said my item was shipped and I requested an e-mail with tracking info. She agreed to send it, I never got the tracking. I waited a few days and called again, different worker, I explained I was not able to log in to my account to check the status of my order. She claimed I didn't need to log in to check the status of my order.? I told her you would have to log in or everyone would have access to everyone's order details. She claimed I was on the wrong website and they did not have a log in for order information. I gave up, she obviously had no idea what she was talking about. I again requested the tracking information for my order. She agreed to send it, it never came. My order did arrive after almost 3 weeks of waiting. This company is awful for shipping and information, their customer service is ridiculous and I will never order from them again.
