The brick and mortar stores are nice. Clothes are ok quality by today's standards, and should last through a year of wear and washings. Definitely recommend avoiding buying anything online. They do not have a uniformly applied sizing system. Sizes vary wildly from item to item or even just year to year on the same item. Their return policy is atrocious. They charge you for shipping both ways (approx. $17) nonrefundable, even when the item is not as described, wrong size or damaged. This means you have the pleasure of paying them while receiving absolutely nothing in return but an inconvenience.

Was trying to order on line and discount was not working. Tried the "chat", so frustrating! She wasn't answering my questions and it was taking too long. Instead of fixing the cart price or giving me another coupon code, I got the run around. I said I was going to check other on line sites first if they could not honour the discount. No response. They could have just helped right then or emailed me a new code. When I went back later to check my cart, they emptied it! They obviously don't care about losing customers. After reading reviews on awful service and poor quality, think I will steer clear of this site.

Ordered this for my wife >3 weeks ago as a gift. Never came, had to call them 2x and never got any answer, wrote them an email and got a generic response after 3 days saying they will look into the matter then after 4 more days I got an email saying they don't have it anymore. Of course you won't because it's almost a month since the purchase was made. Very poor service. Never had any decency to apologize properly. Just dismisses a customer. Would never recommend this to any one, and have spoken to my wife about just buying from a more reputable company with better clothes to sell.

The salesgirl was rude and lacked customer service. I asked her if they would have more sleeveless tops and while I could finish she started talking. Then I was about to ask her something to which she rudely said "Let me finish". I asked her if she was having a bad day and should be more courteous to a guest. She refused to give me her name or apologize for her inconsiderate behavior. I am a regular at Loft and never had an employee talk or answer me like that. Very sad at the customer service. Loft should hire people who like their job with good customer service skills.

I placed an order On June 5th. I realized that these are difficult times so I gave Loft the benefit of the doubt. A month passed and still no sign of shipment or contact from Loft, so I decided to contact them. It took Loft customer service almost 2 whole weeks to get back with me. The communication was awful. They would not reply again after the initial contact for days in between. It is now July 14th and I have only received 1 item from my 7 piece order. OH and 3 of the items were cancelled just a couple days ago. So right now I am waiting on 3 more items. Nothing like waiting a whole month for summer clothes that didn't even all arrive. And the summer is almost over now. They also charged my card a month ago so now I have to fight with someone to get my money back.

Loft has cute clothes. Don't let the deals fool you. It is not worth the time, money, hassle. Shop local or go to H&M or something.

Fraud Alert

Beware of employees ripping you off when you buy clothes online. I bought some clothes and a week later they had bought me a $1,000 gift card so they could get a commission I guess. I have talked to so many Loft people and their bank and they've done nothing. It was such a simple matter. The email of my so called purchase showed it was still at post office there where their distribution center is located. All they had to do was deactivate that gift card and wouldn't. It's a huge mess and has caused unnecessary stress. Be aware of ordering clothes online with a Loft credit card. None of the family will be shopping there ever again.

Stores are good but ordering online and not getting delivered in time is always a challenge. I ordered my cloths on dec 9 and got the tracking notification that's it on it's way since dec 13. It got delivered to a wrong address yesterday. Tried contacting customer service and they told me that they need to investigate it and this investigation will take few days to weeks. I asked for replacement but they wouldn't do without investigation. This is not the first time. Would prefer shopping in store instead but won't shop at loft.com anymore.

Received a coat as a gift- nice coat but way too large. Coat was purchased online as a work related Christmas gift. There is no store nearby for exchange. Contacted customer service, was told the only way is to charge the original purchaser for the replacement item, then credit back when original is received as return. This despite the fact that I specifically outlined that I did NOT want to affect the original purchaser's account as it is a supervisor. "Customer service" was unwilling to look for another solution- just "that's how we do it" When I said I would then look for outside assistance from the Better Business Bureau, she answered "Go ahead" Ok, challenge a customer after being unhelpful. How disappointing for a company that SHOULD have had a stellar level of customer service and concern for their reputation. When this is resolved, I will never consider shopping at Loft! I hope that this review will help potential customers to reconsider buying here, particularly with a gift purchase.

I like Loft, however; I found myself purchasing more when they offered free returns due to COVID. I Actually didn't return much, knowing the return was free was enough incentive to purchase. Now that they're charging $8(!) for returns I'm done buying from them online. My local Loft retailer doesn't accept outlet store returns so I'm done with Loft Outlet. Would also be nice to offer less minimum purchase amount for free shipping for their card members. There's a lot of online competition and Loft clearly isn't vying for online buying ease.

I picked up dresses from the 'Final Price' racks which were priced low. When I went to the register, I was told that they were full price items and not on sale. I saw some other customers buying those same items (through different registers) on the sale price. When I tried to question this, the store manager was impolite and did not try to address my concern. Thumbs down for the rude staff :(

I spent forever picking out items when they had a good sale. Over half my items were cancelled and no one contacted me to see if I wanted to make changes or replace my items with anything else. I had to look up my order to find out they just weren't going to send me 5 items. The worst thing is everything that was cancelled was still available online. I called and asked them to send me the items and the customer service representative said that those items are and backed out of stock but the online inventory is incorrect. How can you run a business like this? They should seriously get some help because every other company seems like they can do it. Will never order online from them again.

I recently went online to order a pair of "girlfriend" style pants in a color called Coastal Grey. They were at a good price of $35.99. By the time I went to order them later in the day EVERY size was sold out. The next day I went to look to see if by chance my size had come back into stock and miraculously ALL the sizes were now available at a higher price, same exact item. Something sounds fishy. It's almost like if they oversaw a certain item they claim it's out of stock so they can then put it back in stock and charge a higher price. Won't be shopping with loft anymore.

I have been a faithful Loft customer for several years. Their clothes are current and affordable; however, I have had a MOST unfortunate online experience. I ordered two sweaters and received a pair of slacks that belonged to somebody else. I returned the slacks to my local store. I still have not received my sweaters despite repeated contacts. My bill has not been adjusted. Will hesitate to shop at Loft again.

Their clothes are not good quality for the money and customer service is terrible. The giveaway is how long you have to wait on hold. The website claims you can cancel an order immediately after placing it. If you try, you are placed on hold forever with a lot of white space so you think you have been disconnected and when a human finally answers you are told you cannot cancel an order.

Greenwood IN Loft horrible

No customer service. Even when asked, they are not helpful. Thres, the manager remained behind the counter the entire hour of our shopping. And associate came out twice when asked for help. After 30 minutes of shopping and ready to check out and asking what was discounted they told us that everything in store was 40% off. Teres told us they can't get anyone to work for them. No wonder! I'm surprised they have any customers. Excuses and then defensive and not at all apologetic.

I am working with diminished income these last few months due to covid so for once I used the Loft card to buy a few on sale items. I made the big mistake of making my payment 2 days after the due date which resulted in a $29 fee which I called about asking if they could remove it since the reason I was late is because my deposits are taking a bit longer to process hence having to wait a bit longer and missing the due date. Alas, the answer was no. So just a warning to all shoppers to think twice before buying and watch your pennies. I ended up returning most of the things I bought anyway so I ended up paying a fee for things that I do not really need.

Misleading

I was told my packages would arrive December 3, and then it was pushed back to December 11th and still no update on my package or where it is since. Do not give unrealistic shipment dates if you cannot fulfill them

Process Scammers
November 29, 2019

Careful ladies... Loft raised their prices from the night before Black Friday (I did a little 'window' shopping online after a great meal) and put some items in my cart. Some items DOUBLED from last night while in my cart! I should have just gotten them the previous night, and truly saved 50%. Boo on you Loft. Disappointed.

I completed an online order and did store pick-up. I received an email saying my order could not be processed but with no information on what to do from there! I called customer service and they had to re-order my item, took all of my credit card information again and I was passed to the customer survey immediately following my card information being shared, no confirmation of how much was being charged or date of delivery being shared. I called back and the next person I talked to didn't even see a purchase order in the system from me so I cancelled my entire order. I will take my money elsewhere. This was my first experience with attempting to purchase from LOFT and last.

Hi Everyone. The first time I ordered through Loft was during the first COVID scare. My package was supposed to arrive within two weeks, but did not arrive for an entire month and a half. In addition, one of my items never showed up, so they eventually refunded me. The second time I ordered through them I never received my package. I called the post office & loft's customer service. They said they would investigate, but it has been weeks and I haven't been given a refund OR been re-sent the clothing.
