We found a dog on New Years Eve and used the LostDoggie.com website to make a free posting of his picture. He was chipped but the new owner never updated the
Chip information so we were at a loss to contact them. We also put flyers up in
The neighborhood and surrounding area. The owner saw our post on LostDoggie.com and called. The dog was an inside dog that had been let out to potty, and bolted out the gate when the fireworks began. He had wandered over 5 miles before we found him. Thank you LostDoggie.com! If you find a lost pet, you can scan for a chip at Petsmart for free.

As soon as I paid for the top option to help me find my lost pet, I got a (spam) text message saying someone had my dog. I had a sudden burst of hope after countless hours of unsuccessful searching and tears. The person said they needed verification from a code. I sent a picture of the dog and a description. They continued to reply asking for a code. I asked if it was spam snd they said OMG no. Then said I was spam. I asked where they found my dog-what town. Their texts weren't very clear, seemed foreign. Ended up having to block the number as they continued despite many attempts to clarify his looks or location. Praying on people when they are vulnerable and desperate is truly terrible.

It is sad that some people who have nothing better to do write such negative things. I can attest to the fact that this site is NOT a SCAM by any means. The employees are compassionate, and will go out of their way to do everything possible to help find missing pets. I have used this service and will do so again, if need be. I have no hesitation in referring this service to others who may have a lost pet. Read the testamonials on their site and make your own decisions.

On Feb. 4th two of our three dogs took off our a back door that was left open by my 5 yr. Old. My entire family was devastated. We searched for hours with no luck. My sister in law's friend suggested we try lostmydoggie.com, I gave her friend all the info I thought she might need and I continued to search in my car and on foot. About an hour later I received a call on my cell phone that included my name and phone number and a description of my dogs that were missing. That phone call I got went out to 500 people within 1 mile of our home. My cell phone started ringing off the hook with complete strangers telling me they saw our dogs. It took a while but eventually we were able to pinpoint both of them. I could not believe strangers cared enough to take the time to look for my dogs and then call me. My newly adopted dog, Ludvig, slipped out of his collar and took off. I was devastated and spent 10 hours driving around my neighborhood, putting up flyers. It was so comforting to know that I could also put the notice out via Lost My Doggie to increase the number of people who were on the look-out for him. Amazingly, we did get a report from one of the social media sites we put his picture on that a neighbor about 2 miles away thought they spotted him in his backyard. Without that caring neighbor, and the assistance of sites like Lost My Doggie, I would still be wondering what happened to Ludvig! Thank you for the service you provide.

This site is amazing! My dog was found within a few hours of posting of him being missing. Even the clinic that scanned him was not helpful as they gave me the wrong names and numbers of the people who found him. If he hadn't been posted to this site, we might have never gotten our baby back.

The service this site provides is truly a blessing for animal lovers! I'm not certain if it was a result of the efforts of the flyer from this website, or other media I posted in, but my entire family is just Overjoyed at the return of our pet! She was delivered to our door by a member of the local Humane Society, who also showed much
Compassion for us during these 4 days that we were so worried about her well being.

About a month after posting that our dog was lost, one of the vet clinics that got the fax from Lostmydoggie said someone had brought in a stray dog that matched our dog's description. Sure enough we were able to get in contact with them and got our dog back. Made the wife real happy to get him back. :)

I got my Christmas present early. Wow, I can't believe it. Buddy (my cat) snuck out of my apartment and went into my neighbors apartment (Buddy had never been outside in his life) and hid in her cabinets under the sink. My neighbor came over the next day and said that she thinks my cat is in her apartment. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.

I am extremely pleased with the lostmydoggie.com experience. Knowing that I had all local shelters, vets, etc on alert to keep an eye out for my cat via email and fax meant that I was able to concentrate on what we could do - print flyers, walk around the neighborhood and talk to everyone we could, try to make noises that reminded him of home - all while I knew we weren't the only ones trying to locate him.

I can not thing this website enough, because of their fast acting responses Brody has been found! Our dog bolted on a rainy night. The next morning I registered on lostmydoggie and by lunch she was located. The person who found her reported to our local vet, who received a fax from your site. She provided me with the number for our dog's rescuer.

Well I couldn't be happier with Lost My Doggie. I found a stray dog and understand that putting up paper fliers is still a good way, but it was the digital flier from the Lost My Doggie website that helped the owner find us.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for the services provided from lostmydoggie.com! My vet told me about the site, and I logged on and signed up. I then went to drop off my missing flyers at the local animal hospitals and while I was in there, they got the fax from lostmy doggie.com! Not even a half an hour had gone by since I had signed up on the website! Then about 10 min later someone from another vet clinic called me and said they thought they may have my Phoebe. It wasn't Phoebe (although from the pic she sent me, this pup looked identical to my pup!) We ended up finding my pup on the canal banks by my neighborhood! I lost my little Chihuahua named Pixel when she got scared by a marching band at a parade and bolted. I put her up on Lostmydoggie.com and the next morning (not 24 hours after she was terrified and ran off) I got a call from a wonderful lady who had picked her up. Her friend recognized Pixel from the web site, and after I picked her up, the lady called me back and informed me that she had later been contacted by the vet she had taken her to as well! Lostmydoggie.com contacted every vet, animal hospital, and shelter from Savannah to Florida! I was quite skeptical when I paid the money but, in retrospect, it was worth every penny and then some! This is a great service! It really does work and they work very fast in getting your information out to the shelters and animal control. I do have to admit that I was very skeptical at first but when I walked into the Fayetteville Animal Control Center and saw the flyer. It was like WOW they really are for real and do what they say. Thank you so much! The FREE flyer helped us find our 3 dogs just in time. One of our dogs was hit by a truck (a near by witness told us) & because of the flyers we were able to get a tip on where there were (found in a canal). The other 2 dogs never left her side & we were able to bring all 3 of our dogs home.

The power of social media was a tremendous tool in helping us recover Scruffy. Every neighborhood he traveled to, the people knew he was lost. Thanks to Lost My Doggie, the father of one of the good guys who captured Scruffy knew the dog was lost and people were looking for him. This site was so helpful in getting the word out immediately about our missing dogbaby, Storm. The posters that we were able to print at home and post (EVERYWHERE!) were instrumental in finding Storm. A kind lady saw the poster and alerted us to where Storm might be. We drove around most of the night and were able to find Storm in the vicinity of the caller. Now, our job is to retrace our steps and remove all those posters so that others can have spots for posters! Thank you so very much for this free service.
