So, we went to the store in Killeen TX to purchase pressure washer and right from product help and checkout was awesome. The gentleman that helped us get the pressure washer was honest and straight forward with us. Also the lady at the checkout her name is Neomia as well also was jovial and easy going also helped us with the checkout as well as saving money. I usually don't do reviews too much but I promised her that I will definitely do that. Neomia we appreciate your service and continue doing what you doing.
I went to Lowes to purchase some supplies for our church. When I got to the front desk, I handed them our non-profit paperwork which they refused to accept saying that we weren't a 'real' religion and that they didn't have to recognize us. Well, the Federal Government recognizes us, the State recognizes us and we are exempt from the payment of taxes to either party. That Lowes was insisting we pay those taxes because we are not what they consider to be a 'real religion', is nothing short of bigoted and hateful. Everyone should know who and what this company is. This country is supposed to be based on religious freedom for all religions, not just the ones you like. Thank the Universe that there are other building supply locations who are not so narrow-minded.
Purchased a refrigerator thru Lowes online. The water line on the back of the unit was broke in half when delivered. I was told because it was an online purchase they would have to pick this unit up and I have to purchase another refrigerator to replace this refrigerator. They won't just bring a refrigerator with them and swap out the damaged unit. They also didn't even begin to suggest an under warranty repair. I would be with out a refrigerator for apx 2 weeks and out 4k while waiting for a refund on the previous unit. There should not be different support for online purchases versus in store purchases. They receive the same amount of money either way. Lowes has lost my business.
Same as the Home Depot. Need to find an employee? Need to find a product and not sure where it is at? In a rush and need to use the self checkout? Once you find an employee that has been trained specifically to love their job and ask about a product; they will be more than happy to walk around the entire store with you until they find another employee to pass you on to that will then walk around with you. Avoid all of this and just go find the oldest man or woman that is an employee and tell them what you are looking for. They will then direct you to the manager or call someone on the phone that can assist you.
They don't care about their customers.
Lowes recently implemented a no return/no exceptions policy after 90-days from purchase after I had purchased more tile than I needed for a project (everyone does this when redoing tile). They have always taken back excess tile in the past for store credit or refund, but now won't do that any more, even after I was told that I could return at the time of purchase.
To find this out I have now loaded and unloaded the excess tile from my truck 4 times because I got the store and they weren't able to help me and I had to bring the tile home again.
What a stupid corporate policy.
They have a very slim timeline now to correct this and possibly keep me as a customer otherwise it will easily cost them multiple times what the excess tile is worth from my lost business, bad reviews and telling my business, friends and family not to shop there any more.
They need to take care of their customers if they want to keep them.
After being a long time customer of Lowes and my buying experience of buying a refrigerator left me not wanting to shop there anymore. Their is a lack of communication between the different levels from the store to the delivery.
On March 13 we ordered new front door through the Lowe's projects office. We were told it would 2 or 3 weeks for the door to arrive. We were given an arrival date and told would recalled upon arrival. We passed this on to our installation contractor. The date came and went- no call from Lowe's. I went to the store. They told the delivery was delayed by the vendor. They gave me a new delivery date. That date came and no call. Again I went to the store. They were not helpful but told me they would check on the door and call us. We got no cal for 2 days so we called the store. They said they would check. Later that day (19 April) Lowe's called and told us through some mistake the door was never ordered. We waited for over a month for them to tell us this!
Draw your own conclusion. I will not use Lowe's again.
The worst they ordered the wrong size doors reordered the doors without my knowledge the doors were to small the communication with management was nonexistent the staff in install could have cared less the
Whole operation was less than satisfactory and now I'm stuck with doors that are to small and I have to look at it everyday! Lowes management was supposed to call me many times never happened. Went to the door department asked to speak to the store manager waited 45 minutes he never came to talk to me. Some lady named Anita came back their and said we can't do anything to help you right now after 45 minutes I can't count the times I've called and been lied to by the asst. Mgr and the install dept. will not be having anything fine by lowes ever again and I run a business and do does my husband and I will be letting everyone I know not to trust lowes.
Over the last couple of weeks, I bought some things I needed to get my greenhouse ready for winter. Most of the lumber, hardware to build the greenhouse was bought there last year.
I wound up getting one board too many - and they took it back no questions asked.
I also bought a new Bissell vacuum that was on sale. I waited almost a week to take it out of the box and use it. I discovered it was missing a couple of the attachments. When I went back to the store today, I talked to one of the managers in the appliance department. We went over to their display area, and he gave me the attachments I needed.
Also, it's the end of the season for plants. I talked to the garden center manager and he gave me a great discount on some perennials and on bulbs. I bought so many bulbs, I shared with two of my neighbors and unless I happen to find a bulb variety that I would like to have that I don't have yet - I won't ever have to buy bulbs again.
The Greenville Lowe's has terrible customer service the assistant manager is so nasty it starts from the top management is horrible their are a few associates that ok but overall bad customer service appliances are received dented just bad service.
Spending over 1K at this place, they said, no worries get our CC save $20 and you can pay it off with your discover card, (wanted my miles) no problem. Guess what you cannot pay it off with a CC, have to have your bank account. Will be going to Home Depot from now on.
If you can hunt someone down to help you they seem like they are inconvenienced to stop and attempt to answer you. I say the last 10 times I went there I left and went somewhere else. I don't even bother any more. The only reason I went before was it was easier to get to.
We punches a refrigerator and a stove over a month ago, paid in full including delivery charges. We had to schedule our delivery far in advance due to construction constraints. On the date of delivery(latest we could schedule) we are informed that we were scheduled between 4pm and 8pm. Ok…it was a Friday, no problem….HA…. They showed up at 10pm. Plus the refrigerator was dented in the doors. So they hold our money for over a month, and can not deliver at the scheduled time. Pathetic…. I am through big box stores….abysmal service!
Lowes uses Synchrony Bank for all your promotional purchases and until they get away from Synchrony I will buy no more from Lowes! I have used the word fraud with Synchrony so many times I've lost track. They chg interest for no reason that they can explain. I have to call monthly now to make my payments to make sure the money goes to pay off the first expiring promotional purchases and even after my monthly calls they still fraudulently chg'd me $43 interest last statement. I have over $2100 in interest refunds the last 12 mos. The only fair description of their practices in FRAUD. Thankfully I have absolutely none of these problems with Home Depot thus they are my store moving forward. I've spent tens of thousands at Lowes and HD remodeling our 37 rooms and lodge near Yellowstone but from now on all goes to Home Depot!
We own a lodge near Yellowstone and have spent 12 years and over $1 mil dollars rebuilding and remodeling this entire property including our 37 rooms in log cabins and our hotel sitting on the Shoshone River. Several years ago I learned about extended terms when making big purchases. I have used this method many times and am getting ready to charge another $10,000 or so for materials to renovate another 6 rooms this winter. They offer up to 24 months interest free but you must be very careful and not miss a payment or the interest is charged from day one and is 24% or some ungodly amt.! This option has allowed me to go ahead and get remodeling done now and then pay it off over time with cash flow during the busy summer season.
Last summer I contracted with the local Lowe's Project Mgmt division. They built the fence, tore down the fence since the contractor didn't meet their standards. Lowe's shipped me the replacement materials, sent a second contractor --- then the new store mgr., decided to Quit the Contract. Leaving me with new materials, the former damage to my yard, my loss time and income from the rental disruption, and I still had to build the fence myself for the THREE months of their error. I had little leg to stand on. Watch their arbitration clause in the custom build contract. Even with that clause ended, locally, as an elder person, I don't have the money-time to take them to the municipal court for damages. Don't do business with them for custom build. It was three months of their confusion for a straight 30 foot fence with one gate. Horrid, just horrid management oversight for this store, and the custom build department. Horrid.
Recently I was in Lowes store 0629. I was looking for assistance, when a manager Amanda came by. I asked for help and she said she would call someone. She never did. I went to the appliance area and Kyle called for help. Then I saw a manager Sandy who came over and helped. Then one of the assistant store manager Erica came by on her phone. She waved and kept walking. Erica came back by and was asked for help, she said oh John will be here in 5 minutes, she was still on her phone. John helped with the questions and referred me to Rob who wrote up the order. On the day of delivery i received a call the mower could not be delivered. I cancelled the order. For John, Kyle, Rob and Sandy you get a 10, for Amanda you get a 1 and that is being generous, Erica 1.
Don't believe the Lowes commercial! I paid for a stove on 9/4/23, they took mine an replaced it with a defective stove 9/6/23, took the defective stove 9/10/23, it is now 9/17/23 and I still don't have a stove; but Lowes has my money! I've called three times and been lied to that my case is prioritized. Still nothing!
I went into Lowe's in Newbury Park, CA to purchase some air conditioner filters. Lowe's offers a bulk discount for buying 4 or more filters ($4 per filter discount off $22), but they only had 3 remaining in the store. At check out, I asked the checker if I could get the discount since they only had 3 filters. The checker said no and when I asked the manager, she also said I needed to buy 4 or more filters. When I said you only have 3 remaining, she still refused to give me the discount. So, I told her I would just go over to Home Depot across the way and buy my filters, and the manager did not seem to care at all. So I went over to Home Depot and was able to buy 4 premium filters for half price or ($10.48 discount per filter that cost about $22 each). I ended up saving $33 at Home Depot and will never shop at Lowe's again. Thank you Lowe's for the great customer service and the savings at Home Depot.
Washer and dryer set was to get delivered with a huge window of time and never came. Didn't get told until 8:40 pm that it was not coming after said in route.I am now being told it was canceled for delivery and a new delivery was made for 2 more days later. Horrible customer service! No help No resolution
Called over and over with no help from customer service or stores on hold now trying to get a earlier delivery date and still getting the run around. Would not be so frustrated if they didn't say at 8pm they were in route to my home with confirmation email then another email saying my items were delivered!?Will go else where from now on!
Lowe's is a brand that I tend to trust. So when I saw "Clearance Sale" with the Lowe's logo, I took a look. I paid for a lawn mower that was "Clearance Priced". Haven' gotten my lawn mower yet. I probably got ripped off. I take full responsibility. I'm not blaming anyone (except the thieving bastards who posed as the brand I trust). If you want to be a trusted brand, you must protect that brand so that no one can pose as you! If you see the Lowe's brand associated with "https://bedstockclearance.com/
" it's a scam! Lesson learned the hard way!
Answer: They aren't a s cam but their incompetency will make you pay extra for shopping with them
Answer: Same here and Lowes is no help! All they tell me is there is a delay, sorry
Answer: The price will be less but you will overpay with your time
Answer: If you contract with Lowe's, Lowe's is the general contractor. You signed the contract with Lowe's, not with his subcontracted retailer or installer. Lowe's will try to push the responsibility downstream and require you to take it up with him, but in the end, Lowe's is responsible.
