Had poor service at the Luggagehero across from the White House (Washington, DC). Overpriced, understaffed, inflexible options - no card, no cash, online payment only. Here's the kicker - I just got charged a monthly service fee! I might add that their chatbot doesn't - chat or do anything else. Will be cancelling this asap. Avoid at all costs - I wish I had an alternative, but I didn't.
I made a reservation the same day I needed luggage storage. Arrived at shop to find it closed at 11:45am, which is a peak time for luggage storage needs. Since I could not check my bags, I canceled the reservation, which incurred a fee for same-day cancellation. Even though I showed up at the store at a reasonable business time and my reservation said nothing about the store hours. Customer service was extremely unhelpful, rude, and eventually ghosted me. Do not use this service. They will overcharge you.

I came from the Airport CDG but my apartment wouldn't be ready until after the Opera performance. I arranged on line to leave my luggage at a nice cafe, Cafe Mogador, near the Opera. I paid online afterwards. The cafe's help was impeccable. Luggagehero pays the cafe from what I paid, depending on how long I left the luggage. A wonderful service! No need to ask favors from hatcheck girls. Luggagehero is insured.
