Luminess

Overall, the experience of try-before-you-buy was very easy. Unfortunately, the foundation itself didn't work for me. Honestly, I don't necessarily think it's the product itself, but really my face just hates every single foundation I use. I will say that Luminess at least made my skin look flawless for about 3 hours, then the oils in my t-zone separated it and it looked so cakey. But the normal parts of my face held onto it well.
When I went to request a return, customer service was amazing. They offered to let me talk to a specialist for alternate tips to help with my skincare. I had initially been charged for the product, but once they realized the mistake, they refunded it immediately without issues.
I think it's definitely worth a try!

Like I explained in my initial review, I requested to cancel my subscription, and the CSR was super nice and helpful, and it was taken care of with ease. I wish all CSR’s everywhere had the same customer service!

Before buying make sure you know your color. It's also advertised as an air brush makeup but really you just spray it on the brush. Didn't give me the results I hoped for. Did not know how to contact company.

The overall experience of luminess perfect shade, is nice. I am a black girl with golden undertones and this formula does not work completely for my skin tone. I have tried a variation of colors to match. The pros: lightweight formula, easy to blend.

Cons: color choices are limited.

I absolutely love this lightweight yet great coverage foundation. The color I wanted was out of stock so I decided to mix two colors and it's perfect. Really lovely product. I'm a middle aged woman that's starting to get fine lines and wrinkles. This blurs it all nicely. I've looked for a foundation to love for many years because I hate the heavy feeling of most. I hope this stays around for a long time. Thank you

The primer, foundation, and setting spray were received very quickly and I was excited to try them out. However, the foundation was a little too orangey for my skin and it rubs off very easily. Also, it doesn't seem to work well over top of my under eye makeup & concealer - which is super disappointing because it doesn't give me enough coverage to not wear under eye makeup and concealer. I will be sending it back.

The ordering was a bit confusing. I'm excited to try it but so far the color shade I selected is not right. I also don't remember being aware that I ordered several other products along with the spray foundation and that I have a balance due? Somehow, I missed all of that. Anyway, if I can get the shade right hopefully, I will be able to upgrade my experience. Thank you!

I called once and got as far as a person who was going to assist me with the shade selection but then was disconnected. I tried again last evening and got as far as the person telling me that she would email me so I could send her pictures but as of today I still don't have that email.

I tried the product and it did not work as advertised. I tried to return via online and calling with no luck. Finally got through to be told return was expired and was only offered $50 refund. This is frustrating and will not ever use product or by from this company again. Regards, Laurie Wheatley

Well when I finally got through to someone I was only given an option of a partial refund because after failing to getting through I was unable to return because of expiration by two days. Beyond frustrated and disappointed

I love Luminess. I recently moved to a tropical climate and an out of my Luminess after some delay I had the product delivered to my daughter in The States and she mailed it to me. I must say this product was flawless even in the humidity and heat. I love the primer, foundation and finishing spray. I ordered extra of the product so I don't ever run low again while I'm away from home. I use the can airbrush spray products and they are worth every penny. Thank you Luminess.

I was very interested in this make up due to the fact that I have some dark scars on my face and I thought finally something will cover it. I want to start off by saying I ordered the wrong color however even trying that it did not blend well nor did it cover my scars. I'm really dissatisfied.

I have used it twice. Goes on very smooth. Good coverage. Not cakey. It doesn't seem to last all day, which is what I was looking for, but I'm going to try it a few more days to give it a fair chance.

I got this because you could try it for $5, and if you like it then it was $49.99. Which is high for a foundation for myself I'm not a makeup buff, but I liked the product and decided "yolo/treat yo self" but then they charged me $75 dollars! I don't understand the $25 additional charge and I can't find a confirmation email sent to me about my order either just the delivered email.

I, like you, have seen numerous advertisements everywhere for Luminess Foundation. I was skeptical in the beginning and did not want to waste my money in a product that may not satisfy me. I'm 69 years old and have been wearing makeup since my teens (in the '70's)... So I'm not about to stop now. The biggest challenge, as you know, is finding a foundation that matches your complexion. So I have in and ordered the spray in Tan. I was satisfied with the coverage. The shade was close to my skin colour. The only thing for me is that it left me a little shiney and I hardly use powder anymore. Overall, I was pleased.

The website wasn't very easy to maneuver around. The pictures are missing of the shades part to tell which one to order. I also found another website that is almost the same thing I'm confused. Luckily after these issues a representative called back and fixed the problem. They were so nice and on top of their game amazing customer service!

Amazing!!!! Fixed the issue and sent me a bottle of blush that I was missing from my order. Fast response and easy communication.

The ad I accepted said only pay shipping now and pay the total later on. My card has been charged for $41 and random cents.
Then I received a call from luminess explaining the total price will be on a hold for the two weeks.

I have tried other products to cover my varicose veins on my legs such as the Westmore body coverage. Westmore transfers to clothes and skin. It does not dry completely and it feels very heavy on skin. Luminess does an excellent job on coverage, although I had to apply several layers, but it does not transfer and feels light on skin. I will be purchasing the product again.

Works great. I'm not a fan of makeup really, so I'm very picky. Most are cakey or the color is far off.
This product is perfect, especially for someone like me who very rarely uses makeup. Goes on so easy, blends perfectly, no caking, does not sit in the lines of the face. The color matches me perfectly, not too light and not too dark, it looks natural.

I just wanted to purchase it outright. They followed up immediately with a way to do this but I had already purchased. I love this product but after living in Phx AZ I don't wear makeup frequently. Consequently, I don't purchase often. I want to thank them for reaching out to make sure I was serviced. I am 70 yrs old and this makeup ROCKS! As I am finding myself in front of the camera more often, I can't do without it. Thanks for such a great product.

The 1st shade I received was too dark. I contacted Customer service and they had me send a picture. They recommended and sent another shade which was unfortunately too light. They were so understanding and dod not require me to send back the unused products and did not charge me. I wish there was a local brick and mortar store where I could be matched properly because the product was amazing!

The stilys was out of its bubble wrap in the package. In which there is some damage to the tip. But not enough damage to where it doesn't work correctly.
I still gave it 4 stars because service is typically quick and everything is normally in great condition.

So easy to find your match! Try before you buy option! Only had to pay shipping! The product matched my skin completely came with the cutest brush! It makes my skin glow as well! Will definitely purchase this again!

I have recently changed from the makeup I was using to Luminess. I put on my makeup as usual but this time I used Luminess. The man in my life took one look at me and said, "You look great".
Apparently the makeup I'd been using was heavy and made me look a lot older.
I love my Luminess makeup. It looks so clean. I especially like that I can refresh it in the afternoon and it looks like it did in the morning when I first applied it.

So far so good. I have no complaints with this product of the service I have received. I only tried this product one time. I would like to try it out several more times and than I can and will give another review.

Messy to use = do not like it - do not like it do not like it - trying to use 50 characters to say same thing over and over again - would not recommend this to anyone - there are far better non messy products available - I would not buy this ever again - is that 50 characters now
