So if you're 2 minutes late coming out they can charge you for it. If they are 2+ minutes late picking you up the price sure does not go down. As you're standing in the cold watching them turn around several times etc.

I booked Lyft to pick up a friend first, then me, and finally take us to downtown L.A. At the scheduled arrival time, I received a call from the driver, who informed me he was at my friend's address. However, he gave me a different address that was about 2 miles away. He claimed we were no-shows and said he was leaving. Shortly after, I received a text saying I would be charged $10 for the no-show. The issue is that the app had confirmed the correct pickup and drop-off locations in the proper order, which I documented with a screenshot. It seems the driver may have used this situation to avoid the trip and still collect a $10 fee for a bogus cancellation. Contacting customer service was nearly impossible, and navigating the app to file a complaint was frustrating and time-consuming. After about 15 minutes, I was finally informed that I would be reimbursed the $10. At the very least Lyft should verify ride cancellations with customers before applying charges. Due to the delay, we missed our seats at the concert and had to stand for the entire event. The experience was extremely disappointing.

Jacksonville airport. 11 pm call for a car. Hour and a half later app said 3 different times driver was on the way. No drivers showed up. Finally took a cab. Will never use Lyft again

I am being charged for a ride from a week ago over and over again, over drafting my checking account. I tried their email, its nonworking. I tried the phone number its a circle of nonsense. I tried contacting the driver under lost item, no response. F LYFT! Never again.

Just had a cllient into our office to vax for dog and lyft emailed her the ride cost which was $5.76 but when she went to pay vet bill lyft had taken another $30 besides just in case they said. WHATTTT! They said it was per their terms and services but she wasn't given this. Thieves all of those ride companies. The drivers should just put their numbers out there and would do better.

Driver took me north instead of south heading to my job. He took me back to Greyhound Bus Station. I called police because he refused to take directions from me. The Lyft App wasn't working properly and he was unwilling to listen. I know where I'm going. I need a refund and he needs to be fired. Why would I give him the wrong address. I have a screenshot of everything. He needs to be fired. I will be pursuing this matter and have video supporting my claim. I got an Uber and reached Milner, GA with no problem. ATLANTA TO MILNER, GA IS SOUTH NOT NORTH. Please Google it and let Jonathan know. I previously sent this information and got 2 different threatening responses. I need a refund AND someone to call me which I previously requested.

We ordered Lyft to go to dinner so we could have a cocktail and not drive, the driver picked us up in a Denali and my husband made a joke about the nuts the driver had in a cup. He asked if any of us would like his nuts. The driver pulled over and said there is a video camera and he will not be driving us. I couldn't tell if the driver was joking but he stopped the car and asked us to get out. So we got out…and then the driver got out and confronted my husband to not slam his door which was absurd. He is lucky my husband didn't loose his sh*t on the driver and only stated for him to get back in his car and leave the property. My only thing is if the driver doesn't like his job or didn't want to drive then don't work for the company. What a joke. Uber it is from now on!

I Scheduled a trip through my insurance company to go to a doctor's appointment, on my file states that I travel with a service dog, when the driver showed up to take me to my appointment they refused because they were allergic to dogs. The ride home from the appointment was just as annoying, for some reason the driver was lost could not find the address where I was dropped off originally so they canceled the trip because I was not at their location which was the wrong address. I would not use this company but I have no choice my health insurance uses them for transportation.

I am a driver and I referred my daughter to become a driver. She is a 5 star driver who just made gold and all of a sudden had her account deactivated due to one customer complaint of her running a stoplight. No one can tell her where this occurred or on what day. She has been a driver since October of last year with no issues. She is receiving two different emails from two people. One says no problem we have to ask and the other just keeps sending the deactivated email. She actually preferred driving for them over Uber. Now uber is her life line. This is insane.

Am a driver with lyft but the company management is filled with white racists, a white passenger called me black ape, damaged my windshield and lied against me. The company deactivated my account till date, I repaired the windshield with my money, I told all the passenger did but they chose to support him because he's white.

I just saw a charge on my credit card from LYFT. They have NO phone number so you have to use their automated system which does not have what you want to discuss with them so you get nowhere. No matter how many times I would go on the app I couldn't get someone. Finally, a chat person came up and said they had a membership fee now (in San Francisco), I'm in Florida. I told them I wanted to cancel the membership and they just uploaded a url address that took me nowhere... I just spent an hour I won't get back. I'm glad there are other ride share companies out there!

The first time I went to use the app I was in the store about to pay for my items. I had spent the entire day in an Uber and decided, "Hey, let me use a credit from Lyft to try it out." The app says "we won't charge your card till after..." oh? Okay well I went to check out and the app charge d $30 so I couldn't pay for my items in the store.

THEN when the driver arrived, the app said the car would be WHITE it was clearly silver and you could smell the marijuana from outside of the car. We got in the car and asked if we could cancel the ride.

That is the first and last experience I will have with the lyft app.

Took 3 rides, totaling in $56. Got 3 receipts via email for said rides. Found out they helped themselves to $43 more of my card account. Went to their site to contest these non-existant charges, filled out the info, got to the bottom of the page only to find that the "submit" button is disengaged. There is no way to file a dispute on their website. Called their toll free number, it told me to go to the site. So, basically, they can do whatever they want with your account and all you can do is filled a complaint with the BBB, as I did, and hope you somehow get your money back.

Never use it, wait and save is a joke, driver will not arrive - don't waste your time. I would be better off riding a turte than using their transportation services

I have had good service with Lyft until driver Roberto was sent to pick me up! I asked him to come onto the other side of the street. He refused to pick me up in front of my house and drove off when I asked him to. He cancled my ride! That is unacceptable! If this is the type of driver you hire, I won't use you in the future!

Customer service is very poor with Lyft. Their website was not running properly via phone app or PC. I contacted customer support and explained the situation while filling the application out (DL would not be excepted so uploaded to email), the representative was able to fix it. As I was attempting to complete my application and consent for background check my ssn was not being excepted so once again I recieved an error message and contacted customer service again (with a uploaded copy of my SS card). Well I received no response via email instead I was sent a message while trying to proceed with my application that they were sorry but can not hire me, but thank you for applying! Wow... I do not have a poor driving record nor am I felon.

Booked a ride at 3:00 PM in the afternoon and quoted around 20.00. Was picked up at 3:15PM from my home and dropped off at 3:44PM and when I reached my destination I was charged 65.00.The trip was around 9.81 miles. Tried disputing through the app with no help to solve issue.The ride home was only 17.65 by the way. I have disputed the overcharge with my credit card company and will be going with Uber for now on.It is pretty sad that I have to go through the trouble of disputing a charge with my credit card company due to a company not responding to an issue as well as no way to reach anyone to solve issue.

The app will show you 3 types of cars: " depending" on the number of passangers, so if we were 5, we chose the option XL That says for 6... well, they sent a Nissan Sentra, were only 4 fit+ driver. We couldn't even put seat belts on because we were all squeeze and of of us almost on the lap.of the other. So, they Charged us as an XL car being a small car! It's almost $10 the difference between one car and the other... First is not safety riding a car like that and second they charged us something we didn't have... never use it again. The driver was very kind and nice person, but This issue makes me. Feel that lyft just needed my money and sent me what ever they want it... No more

I booked a trip from the Bronx to Brooklyn for my 16 Year son I was waiting for him outside my house and I saw him talking to the driver I went over and I saw that my son property was on the back seat I try telling him to open the door and he wave at me saying no and Drove off. I reach out to Lyft made a claim next day I get charge $80 for damages and 2 pictures claiming it was me. Reached out to lift no help. First time this happens to me been a customer over 2 years, I will not used lift ever again they have lost a good customer and my family as well over a greedy driver.

The worst company to work,they don't care about their drivers at all,after I drive with over 5 years and they blocked my account for no reason, they said low rating but that isn't true my rating was 5 stars,for no reason if the passenger complained about the driver for no reason,they blocked right away driver,before they ask the driver about the issue,very bad work,you pick 4 people and their baggage for less than $3,after you drive 10 or 15 miles to pick the passenger,if the passenger no show up,you will get paid $2 hhhhhhhh is crazy they play to driver,stay away from Lyft you will lose your time and your gas and you will put miles on your car,and you will no make money from Lyft at all,

I had a terrible experience with a lyft driver this morning. I normally dont use the service, I prefer my local cab company but they were not available for me today. My driver Bashar, plate# HKJORDAN in a white mercedes c class, Took forever to pick me up, then I had to chase down his car because he was passing by me at the location, His gps was terribly inaccurate, which he admitted to, but yet he kept following its directions even after asking me where to go. He did not drop me off at the my specific location and I arrived to work late due to this. He did not apologize. I expressed my displease with his service and he spat at me and called me a fat cow as I exited the vehicle. He got out of his car and continued to yell "you fat cow" as i ran across the the street and a quarter block to my place of business.
He says he lived in the area for 35 yrs and knew his way around but he obviously didn't!

Driving for Lyft is fun, meet new people and the pay is good. If you have a car why not join the team. If you want to earn 1000 dollars use my referral LAKEITHA******* and complete 100 trips in 30 days and u will get 1000

Lyft is absolutely DISGUSTING. My boyfriend and I got attacked by a Lyft driver because he couldn't do his job & they literally let him lie about the whole situation! My boyfriend is scraped up just because of a Lyft ride. I didn't get to any destination that was paid for, I didn't get any refund, the Lyft support lady was disgustingly rude and weird and useless. I will never use Lyft ever again in my life. UBER WOULD NEVER! Exactly why I'm sticking with them & I will continue to make it known how disgraceful this service is as it's supposed to "protect passengers". They didn't protect a thing or do anything about the situation knowing the driver is the one who started the physical fight. There's proof and all. Good luck to anyone who has a problem with Lyft because they are extremely unprofessional. They simply do not care. Ashlyn is the girl I spoke with and she was rude and completely helpless and I wasted my time even saying anything to her weird self. Do better Lyft!

I've used Lyft three times in the past 24 hours. Part of my medical insurance 'benefits'. Two of the drivers drove SO FAST that they were speeding past the normal speeding morning commute drivers. With one driver, we narrowly escaped an accident -- and it would have been my driver's fault. I AM NOT NEVER USING LYFT AGAIN. NEVER.

Honestly, I don't want friend like that. Price range is just ridiculous. If you try to get a lyft in the evening the price is going to be 2x or even 3x than the day price. So what, I need to pay 70$ for a ride? Come on...

Booked a ride with over 12hrs notice, it showed scheduled but no one ever showed up and at time of scheduled ride my request was deleted in the system(not by me).
Ended up scrambling to get a ride to the airport and missed flight.
Thanks Lyft...NEVER AGAIN

I was charged $90 for a 15 minute ride and the driver only received $7.84 from this trip. This is outrageous. I will be calling the BBB to report Lfyt Do not use this service and do not work for this company. UBER is cheaper and pays their drivers well. I received at ride from UBER and the trip was $25 dollars and the driver received $20. I only gave this company one star because it would not let me submit this review without it.
