A go-to resource for all things Apple, providing timely updates, rumors, and detailed analysis that cater to both tech enthusiasts and casual users.
Macrumors publishes news and speculations about current and future Apple activities. These include product news, summaries of reviews, high-level staff changes, patent awards, law suits and all sorts of rumors. While it does original research, the site also summarizes news published by other sources, giving them credit. While it sometimes tries to evaluate the veracity of rumors, some of its speculative pieces need better vetting before publishing. If you love or hate Apple, this is a cool blog to visit regularly.
Admin staff of their forum do not know how to moderate properly. They BAN people out right for being in the same IP range as someone else thinking it's multiple sign on accounts. My friend came over and sign on to the site (on my wifi), and we both got banned! And after contacting their staff, they refused to release it without even discussing it. I know a ton of people this has happened too and the admin staff are power hungry people. Sad to see that site go down hill after being on there for years.
Good articles and discussions. Great buyers guides that talk about when to buy to get the best deals on newest tech. But the moderation and sense of fairness when it comes to allowed posts is really far off and biased. I think they can do better to be honest.
It's a good Apple rumors site. Lots of news about new processors and machines coming out. Nice community on the forum. The best part of the site is their buyer's guide. They tell you when a new version of some product (iPhone, iPad, MacBook, etc) is expected to be released. This way you can always plan a purchase ahead.
