I recently ordered two robes from Macy's. They are soft, roomy and I love them. Ordering from them is easy and they deliver in a short amount of time!
I ordered a jumpsuit and within 24 hours called to cancel it. Was told that the VENDOR would respond within 24-48 hours that they received the cancellation request. Haven't heard a thing and my item is still being processed. Three days later. When I click on the tracking there is nothing there. Macys customer service rep told me it shipped. I can request a refund if the item is not here in 6 DAYS? The website said 2- days.
I ordered some fragances thru after pay and macys cancelled the order, because they have ''new security policies'' I called customer services spoke with Mary and she said there's nothing she can do and we have to wait seven banking days to get our money back. Or to go to a store and buy the fragances again, lol. What a terrible experience, that is why macys are closing so many stores. I will end buying my fragances in Ulta or Sephora Sad!
Sales personnel got in huff because I inadvertently put the shoe back wrong! Haha. My goodness if looks could of killed I'd be dead, as she slammed the shoe in the right place! Excuuuuuse me for touching! Place signs up, do not touch shoes, or anchor them down so people don't touch them anymore.
Worst customer service that you can get. I called *******229. I don't know why they are not checking phone calls to see what's going on. Today someone hung out on me. Even though you are repiting the same question couple of times they can't understand. I hate to call this number because of bad customer service and most of them they don't know what they are doing
A site that goes to so much trouble to extort people into taking down bad reviews must have alot to hide. $3500 for posting a true account of your bad experience.

Excellent place to shop. A great site for all your needs. They have a very easy to use web site. I have bought several items from them and each one was a great bargain. I had returned one item and got full refund. Overall it was a nice experience.
We selected a few items worth thousands on line and headed to the store to talk to a sales person as we had a few questions, wanted to try some mattresses and hoped to put the order in the store.
However, there was not one single available to talk to. We were told that they work somewhere else but someone will call us. We haven't received any call.
Macy's used to be my 'go to' place for grandkids kids clothes, gifts, my outfits, etc. I was there so often. But Macys has priced themselves out of my league. I laugh when I look at an exorbitant price for a short sleeve blouse, and everything else. Even the sales and special discounts don't lower the price near the one I get elsewhere for the very similar item. Sad, it was part of my growing up too, my grandma worked for Bamberger's. I've dealt with this site in the past and had similar problems as the couple in the CNN report, they are nearly impossible to get in touch with. I ordered $250 worth of items and never received any of them. I had to get my bank to reverse the chargers on my card. I recommend avoiding this site at all cost.
I went crazy! What is good about Macy's is that it's different compared to UK Dept Stores. There are plenty more brands and of course the difference is in the price. Selection, it's all about selection!
I found what seemed to be a good deal on their website and then went to pay with my PayPal account. The website I was sent to was one of their own pages, a facsimile of a PayPal page. I ran away from that crap and looked up the reviews here. I'm glad I did!
I went to make a return and the cashier was so rude! First thing I did was speak and it was crickets. Asked a question and no answer, so the entire transaction it was like talking to myself. She handed me my receipt and that's it. I called the next day to complain and was told the supervisor would call me back and of course they didn't. I'm completely done with them!

Macy's is good for a specific group of people. I wouldn't go there if you don't know what you are looking for. They do have awesome makeup though and 10/10 would recommend for certain people that I know. They have very "fancy" or business-like clothing with a couple other options.
I ordered something for Christmas and received an email over a week later that the item was out of stock and I was sent a 25% coupon for my next purchase. Since I ordered the item immediately after it went on sale and the site was saying that it still was available, that is a clear sign they are first baiting and then trying to switch items. The item I ordered was listed at a 40% discount so the 25% on another item was a deception. I will NEVER shop at Macy's again!

I called *******543 to change the name on my Macy's credit card. After listening to three annoying commercials, they then told me to call *******600 which is Free411 (a directory service) which is also filled with commercials you must listen to before getting any options. I can't get through to Macy's customer service which is apparently exactly what Macy's wants.

I ordered 6 shirts form Macy's online. I had to call customer service because the quoted discounts were not applied at check out. Called customer service (from some country) and the said they applied the discount now. When I received my confirmation email, only half the shirts had the discount. Called again and discount was applied to each shirt. I spent about an hour and a half trying to place and order. Don't buy online from Macy's. Now I remember this happened on a previous order and I vowed to never shop there again. Burn me once and I will accept your explanations: burn me twice and I am out of there.

I purchased my order on the 26th August I haven't received it until now but on the status it says order is delivered.I tried to send emails no one is responding,their service is so bad and I doubt their reliability
Whenever I am going to order from a website I always make sure that they answer their phone in case I have problems after the sell. The phone number that they have listed doesn't allow me to get a live person. I would avoid these folks.
Last year 2014 I bought a dress and jacket. I live in New Zealand and it was here in a matter of days. Fitted perfect and I loved it. Had many compliments about it. I found Macy's wonderful to deal with and would highly recommend them.
I have a Macy's charge card. I shop at Macy's a lot. I live in Hawaii and usually end up paying high prices for nice clothes. With the discounts and special offers I get my items don't cost me any more than the mainland prices. I don't know how Macy's can afford to do this but I'm glad they do. I get good quality products at a reasonable cost. What more can I ask for?
I bought this chain at Macys. Needless to say it was complete junk. I bought it off the display not realizing everyone else tried it on! I tried to return it and they were rude, non accommodating and i didn't want a cent back! I just wanted the same chain ordered that wasn't damaged. So i took it to a reputable jeweler and he has to cut the back add a new clasp and hope fully it will lay flat because it never laid right. I will NEVER buy from them again. They are horrible! Please consider Penney's or any of your other lower local cost jewelers before ever shopping at Macys! As you can see on the pictures it's not sitting correct on my neck! When i showed them they said that's how it should be! Flat like in the pic being repaired is how it should always lay … DON'T shop there. They don't stand behind there product! If i can give them a zero i would!
I bought $*******.00 worth of furniture from Macys in Sept. 2018. Bought a leather sectional couch and got the ultimate protection coverage for the couch it was for 5 years. I noticed a few cracks in the leather and had a technician come and take picture i asked what could be done. He said he was only hired by company to take pictures he doesnt know anything about repairing. When he left he screwed us in his assessment that it was over time repeated wear dog damage mind you it is covered for pets. I have gotten no wear they refuse to send another tech to check or solve problem. The sectional when Macys commercial come on TV the first couch that is the couch i have. So Macys sells you a bill of goods and their warranty company stinks
I went to Macy's in August 2022, made a purchase for my daughter (to take advantage of discounts) my daughter then used her debit to make a payment of the same amount. Well, I've been going back n forth with Macy's ever since with them saying a payment wasn't made! This company SUCKS! Stupid non English speaking "customer service" people. I gave them all the documents they requested n still no refund back to my card! Please do yourselves a favor n never get a Macys card, go get a Nordstrom card-they're much more professional. I give them 0 star!
Ordered a very expensive watch from Macys. Com only to receive an empty watch box in the package sent to my home. I called immediately to complain and didn't ever get to speak to someone but shortly after received an email saying I had a history of doing this and they would not credit. Totally false and misinformed
I am not even sure I have we ordered from Macys and certainly not recently. They are a pathetic excuse for customer service and even after reaching out to the president of the company; no response. How they have been in business for 165 years is a mystery. Please don't waste you money here and whether the theft occurred onacys or UPS I don't know but certainly don't order anything of

We made the huge mistake by buying a couch from them. It took over 7 months to get it. Then the couch broke down about 8 months after getting it. They came by to look at it and said it needed a new part. They ordered the new part to have it delivered here. The first time they forgot to order it. The second time when we followed up, they finally ordered it without providing a tracking number since it's being shipped to our house. They said it would take up to two months to get the part. Once we get the part we have to call them back to schedule an appointment for them to fix it. I will never ever again buy furniture from macys. I much rather pay an extra 500 dollars for the same thing from a better company with better customer service.
