I recently ordered two robes from Macy's. They are soft, roomy and I love them. Ordering from them is easy and they deliver in a short amount of time!
I ordered a jumpsuit and within 24 hours called to cancel it. Was told that the VENDOR would respond within 24-48 hours that they received the cancellation request. Haven't heard a thing and my item is still being processed. Three days later. When I click on the tracking there is nothing there. Macys customer service rep told me it shipped. I can request a refund if the item is not here in 6 DAYS? The website said 2- days.
My online order was just cancelled twice for no reason. I have learned that many people are having that problem with Macys online orders right now.
Over the years I have found Macy's website to be very challenging to place orders through. This time, at first it seemed to be better, although I noticed that they had neglected to give the full name/description of some clothing items as they appear elsewhere, leading to some confusion.
The big drama at Macys Online is whether or not your order will go through. The methods by which they scuttle orders has varied, but the basic problem remains. After the first cancellation I found Macys had an outdated phone number for me. I fixed that and put the order through again. It was cancelled again. They said they were unable to confirm information about me. The rest of my information looked okay. I don't have this trouble elsewhere. Others online were mystified by their orders cancelled by Macys, which grabs defeat from the jaws of victory.
They had a whole bunch of specials advertised, and then lo and behold! The "add to cart" button doesn't even work for those items once they go on sale! Nice scam to get people to your website, though!
They need to hire more help. The people there are working fast and furiously and can't keep up. There is really no such thing as service. It's all they can do to clean out the dressing rooms and ring people up. I hate the whole coupon thing. The lines are too long with the time it takes to try to manipulate the sale to maximize the coupon purchase. Just lower the prices. It's a scam anyway. Half the time you can't find what you are looking for even if the sales person says it's in the system. It's likely on one of they many many hanging racks that are ever present. I just don't shop there any more. I have a card but never use it.
If I could give this company one star I would. They are awful with customer service, extremely rude, and unhelpful. Although, I cannot generalize because there are so many Macy's branches across the country I can definitely say that with my experience at the stores in Miami and their online service I will absolutely never shop there again. For anything.
This review is about Macy's delivery service. After waiting more than 2 months for our furniture, it was finally ready, and I scheduled a delivery date on their website. The date came, but nothing was delivered. I contacted their customer service, and a lady politely said the website does not work in our region, and we need to schedule delivery by phone. Why do you have a website running if it is useless and doesn't do anything? I had made arrangements to stay home and receive the delivery, and was very excited. But it turned out to be a huge disappointment.

Went to New York a few years ago with my two daughters, was advised that macey,s was not worth going to, but ignored there advice and went, wow! What a store, they had everything, we spent our last few hours shopping before coming Home, wonderful store.
Most pathetic service. They don't pick calls, have transactions about which no one can provide details And they would keep adding interest and finally will give to third party to collect with no way of right to Information. I would never be their loyal customer again!
Love a good deal especially if the quality is good but Macy's pricing practices are downright maddening. I've bought something only to find it 50% off the next week! It is not at all convenient to return things and returns drive everyone's costs up, including prices consumers have to pay. I respect retailers who deliver quality at a fair price to themselves AND the customer.
I shop $#*!s sporting goods but Macy's has some good deals on Fitness clothes and lounge wear. I bought several items here at Macy's online they turned out to be great deals. The shipping was pronto fast too. Would recommend Macy's online.
Don't buy anything from these criminals. They use quasi-legal terms to intimidate customers and will use bullying tactics involving credit agencies to mess up your credit if you don't pay the $3500 "fine" they charge for a bad review.

Seriously I don't know how they stay in business with the terrific sales they have. I buy almost all my jeans from Macy's because I can be assured they will fit and they come quickly and are wrapped nicely and come on hangers. Macy's has never stopped being a classy store like many have. I love their advertisements and the coupons they send and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. They made a mistake, corrected it and gave me an extra $50 credit. I remember shopping there as a child and at 56 I still do. They are fabulous! There is nothing you cannot buy from Macy's!
I think that Macy's is a top notch store. I would give them a 10. I have made several designer handbags purchases and if I see one go on sale, after I have already made my purchase, they will go back and adjust the price. They are even pleasant about it. Wow, good customer service! Not use to seeing that now days.
Denver... was at a well known area. It is very busy area so you don't want to carry a purse. All day I used only my card with PIN. Went to Macy's to buy a $30 shirt. Big hassle, because no pic ID on me. If it was more than a $30 t-shirt, I could understand. Haven't been back.
I ordered June 13 and until today i have not receive it yet. When you track it only show, leaving the center, arrive in the center then ready to fly. Its a waste of time and money. Do not buy from Macy's, its a scam website.

I ended up ordering a ton from Macy's, but lord knows they fought me the entire way. Their credit card seemed like it had some good features. I know I've filled out the necessary information for it. To this day, I don't know why I don't have one. I don't even know if I'm registered as a client. I'll go back to the site to see if things improved. But life's too short to order from them any more.
I have been a customer of Macy's since the 1980's and I scheduled an online payment for my credit card which did not process. I was charged a late fee of $29 and I contacted customer service to request a refund and they denied me. Macy's has just lost me as a customer over $29. I've always paid my bill in full to avoid interest, so they figured that I'm not valuable to them. I've now put the card away never to be used again. The only reason I didn't request to close the account is because it will affect my credit score; other than that, I'd gladly close it. It's the principle about the whole thing.
I don't understand how it takes almost a month to get status of a watch I purchased back on April 25th, 2020. You don't disclose online that shipping would take this long and just my luck UPS is now reporting damage so I still don't have the watch and it's 5/19 today.
I purchased this watch for my niece as a graduation gift. Now I can't even email, chat or talk to a live person. The website keeps directing me to you mr FAQ's. So frustrating no watch and no way to get my money back soon.
The last piece was delivered to the wrong warehouse and no one at that warehouse can confirm a delivery date. But if I'm late on a payment you can bet they'll be on me like bear on honey. I'll buy at store where I pay cash and carry. Don't believe anything they say about a delivery date or time. They speak with forked tongue!
I have a $100 credit limit at Macy's and tried to increase it to $300. I had some late payments when my son was ill and I had to put medical bills on credit cards. This was almost 5 years ago and I have not paid one thing late since that time but I was denied an increase of $200! I have a GREAT job, am almost debt free and have credit with many other departments stores with much larger limits. I cannot believe that this company treats their customers so badly. I spent all morning ordering items and then called and spoke to three different people only to hear the same thing, NO, you can't have an increase from $100 to $300 even though you ALWAYS pay your bills. I just bought a new car a year ago with a great interest rate too! Why would someone sell me a car and Macy's won't let me have $300 in credit? Very insulting!

Macy's reported a late payment for a charge that never showed up on my account. Macy's credit report department staff was rude and gave me inaccurate information. They agreed to investigate the issue, but that never happened.
HORRIBLE experience. Spent $20 in customer service phone call charges to track my package because they ghosted me for 9 days. They wouldn't tell me where package was and I waited 40 mins to speak to someone. Finally received package damaged. Customer service just types a bunch of polite gibberish without offering much help. They will totally ignore your complaints but tell you how much they appreciate your patronage. It's a NO for me.
I have shopped on this site many times and they do have comparable items vs. Nordstrom. The problem is if you're on this site for too long it tends to freeze and crash and you have to keep going back to main group and click down to category you're looking at. When you choose an item to put in wish list or cart it sometimes gets stuck going back to main page of items listed in category. So it's hard to do continuous shopping for various items in different categories. Have used Windows and iPad systems.
Awful experience with you guys, no wonder I stick with Amazon. Truly didn't think anyone could mess this up this bad. I ordered a comforter for my sister and brother-in law for Christmas on 12/6. I got an email confirmation saying that the item was shipped and expected to arrive on 12/16. When my item didn't come i naturally called my leasing office to confirm and then tracked the shipment which gave me no information (still waiting shipment). I thought this was weird so I emailed MACY's "support" online and received an email this morning saying that my item isn't in stock and they were issuing me a refund?! I then had an awful support with customer service. I asked for an additional credit/gift card for my hassle and they offered me $10! That won't even buy my gas to go back to your store to get the comforter. I now have no gift or TIME to get another gift for Christmas for my sister and brother in law. You guys lost a customer today.
I have ordered several times from Macys. Most recently I have been severely disappointed with their false advertising and then the lack of customer service to correct the problem. First I ordered mattress pads online because of the promised quick delivery. Shortly thereafter they said it would arrive 10 days later. I called to see if I could just pick up in the store and I was told to just wait for them to arrive. Secondly, there was a bonus of 2 free pillows with the pads. I didn't get the pillows, I called customer service again and was told that they must of ran out of supply. This was despite the fact that they were still advertising them a few days after I ordered. Once nothing could be done. It will be quite awhile (if ever) before I order from Macys again. There's a lot of other choices online.

This has got to be the worst shopping experience ever because I could not get to anything I clicked on. I had an offer in my mail and thought I would like to shop here but when I click on an item it was out of stock or would not let me view other items I wanted. Wow will not put myself through this again. Sorry Macy but this site is to stressful for my liking.
