I recently ordered two robes from Macy's. They are soft, roomy and I love them. Ordering from them is easy and they deliver in a short amount of time!
I ordered a jumpsuit and within 24 hours called to cancel it. Was told that the VENDOR would respond within 24-48 hours that they received the cancellation request. Haven't heard a thing and my item is still being processed. Three days later. When I click on the tracking there is nothing there. Macys customer service rep told me it shipped. I can request a refund if the item is not here in 6 DAYS? The website said 2- days.
For the amount of money spent on their jewelry, it's bad quality and doesn't last long. Gemstone fell out of an almost $300 ring after just over a month of wear, and a $100 necklace broke from little pressure after almost 6 months of wear. They really need to get it together.

If I cannot find what I want locally I check Macy's online. I love the quality of their clothes. If I do have a problem such as sizing or It doesn't look good on me, I can return it at the store. No mailing required! Don't forget about the Macy's points which add up quickly for big savings!
The arrogance and evil nature of this company is so sickening. There is no way any company like this should have the ability under the law to lower a persons credit rating with impunity. How did they get that right under law? I think these folks should be able to collect damages from them. And I mean simply in there local courthouse and garnish the account of KlearGear for incurred. Damages and expenses. Who are these people? KlearGear YOU SUCK!
I ordered shoes for my daughter with 2 day express shipping. Tried to change city they were to be shipped to because they would not arrive on time. The customer service rep was so rude on the phone! I will never order from Macy's again!

I have never been disappointed with my purchases at Macy's. With the selection they have and they sizes most people need. If you check out their clearance/sale section off season you can really get some great deals.
I highly recommend them.
The absolute most awful online furniture shopping. Items from shopping bag get randomly deleted. Purchase history shows random items purchased, so there is no way to see what was purchased in total. Paying with Macy's card gets declined even though I have a high limit, not even close to what I wanted to purchase.
Terrible software, this is the final time I will shop at Macy's.
After experiencing HORRIBLE customer service, they make promises and do not keep their word. Bunch of liars! I would advise shopping elsewhere. I just completed chemotherapy and found dealing with Macy's more stressful!

I bought a crock pot to help me from starving to death, thinking I'd be able to pick up a few things from the recipe book and get cracking. Wrong no recipe book no cooking guide applying to menus anyway very disappointing. Oh W just go on the website sick of hearing that crap.
I was in a tight spot last week as my wife's birthday approached and I had no ideas left? On a whim I found myself looking over Macy's jewelry section and found a large selection of earrings, bracelets and everything else. The choices were many. I didn't have any expectations going in there. But I decided to find a pair of reasonably priced earrings for her birthday and the selection was from a few bucks to thousands of dollars. I found something in my price range that was very elegant. Of course time was running out so for an extra twenty dollars I had them delivered second day.
They came right on time quick and easy and just as important my wife loved them. I never thought Macy's would be a place I would be writing about in a positive manor, but here it is. I recommend you take a look. I was surprise and pleased.
Sales person Maggie in backstage said why do parents come to the store with children's like that" to another customer, she first thought I didn't understand English and said that only because my autistic child was crying. That is no one to treat someone who is spending money at the store. People like that should not work in a store.
I ordered several items. After placement I was informed they would be sent in several deliveries. 4 days later I received an email regarding a particular package, stating it was shipped. 21 days go by, it still has not been delivered. I am then told OOPS, sorry we are now out of the item. This is not the first time this has happened to me, but it will be the last time. I will now shop at the competitors!
They make it as difficult as possible to contact them at all then they're reps are rude or not even able to answer simple questions or both. They missed an item from my order and said they were reshipping - I specifically asked the rep but never did. They canceled another order more than a week later saying the item is out of stock even tho it's still for sale on their website at a higher price than I paid and "as a courtesy" sent a coupon that had a paragraph of exclusions so looks like it can't be used on most of the store
I don't have a local Macy's in my area, so I have no choice but to order online. Two out of the last three times I have ordered something I used the free shipping, which is UPS Sure Post. The shipping labels were created and two weeks later the UPS website says they haven't received my package from Macy's. I am now waiting for a refund while they "investigate" what happened. This has occurred twice now. Once was for a birthday gift for my husband. Now I have a load of no-show Christmas gifts. So UNRELIABLE! I am finished with Macy's. What a joke.
I used this site multiple times and it is well organized and easy to use. They keep you informed as the product you ordered move through their system and finally arrive at your door. Take advantage of the free shipping when you can. I was $9 dollars shy of the free shipping so I bought another thing which was basically paid for by the savings.
I've been buying at Macy's, both in Nashville as well as in New York.
I've had good experiences, great sales, and many choices. The only reason that I haven't been in over a year is that I am 81 and barely able to walk. For those who are still spry, give it a try.
NOT a former customer; I'm just reiterating the warning others have posted. If you ever buy anything from them (DON'T!) they have included in their "terms of service" agreement language which says that if you ever say anything bad about them in public (like here!) you owe them $3,500. They'll try and collect, too!
Just visited the site a few times, then found out about the "fine." Had a weird feeling about this company, as their address did not check out with Secretary of States in states they were doing business in. This holds true for alleged holding or parent companies. Google Earth ID'd vacate offices, or could not id address at all. Website looked made up with the "as seen in." Did not like the part where they -out of the blue for retail- had the words, IT, Developers, etc. Most links did not work. So today, WHAT DO I FIND? Kleargear snuck through Adobe to store info on my pc and gain access to media data. This is no joke - what the what for a retail place? NOT. Looks like a front and a fake. STAGE LEFT.
Worst experiences the last two months orders were horrible. Customer service not qualified. Poor handling to all the errors and mistakes that kept happening that last two month. From system errors, flash sales not applied when checking out. Orders not sent, adjustments take many and many phone calls and emails to correct them even when you attach pictures with proofs. It take them few attempts to finally get your point and fix the issue. I used to be a loyal customer but for the last two months I believe no more I'm ordering from this site! Get better system and better customer service or you just close your site if you can't handle the orders right!
Sign up for a Macy's account and treat it like an Amex! It's a beautiful thing! Coupons, deals, cash back - well in Macy's gift cards. You can't beat it. 4 stars because the selection is limited sometimes. It's good for basic clothing and accessories.
Purchased the Tommy Hilfiger Performance Jacket from Macy's. It's decent for light weather, but not warm enough for colder months. The shopping process was fine, but delivery took longer than promised.

I have been a customer for many years. There have been mix ups in shipments but nothing major. Recently I ordered several items. I received partial shipment and one box had shirts that I didn't order. Just random men's shirts when I ordered make up. Because my mail service signed for the package Macy's has refused to even investigate the possibility of theft in their fulfillment center.
Beware when ordering online product! Their customer service is hard to get ahold of and reaching corporate is impossible.
You may not get what you ordered. I ordered nearly 200 dollars worth of make up and now that will end up costing me double that to get the items I needed.
I ordered a sweater from Macy's on Nov. 18 to be delivered in Canada. Tracking says it cleared customs on Nov. 24. Despite numerous emails to customer service, I get stock answers that it is on the way, and many other meaningless platitudes. I have repeatedly requested a refund and their response is more emails and excuses delaying the request. It has been 47 days and I live in a major Canadian city. Clearly this parcel has been lost or stolen and I have no satisfaction from Macy's customer service.

I was about to make a purchase from kleargear and went on the net to see what others' experiences were like. Not only did I find this matter about them trying to extort $3500 from a family because of an unsatisfactory review, but I also found a story in which a customer did not receive a product from them and so started a dispute process with his credit card company. Kleargear charged him a "$50 Dispute Fee".
I decided not to purchase anything from them now or in the future.
I had to call them 4 times and explain the issue each time. It is unfortunate that the issue was till not resolved. I have been told they would call me to place an order now. Very poor customer service.
