I ordered a jumpsuit and within 24 hours called to cancel it. Was told that the VENDOR would respond within 24-48 hours that they received the cancellation request. Haven't heard a thing and my item is still being processed. Three days later. When I click on the tracking there is nothing there. Macys customer service rep told me it shipped. I can request a refund if the item is not here in 6 DAYS? The website said 2- days.

Disappointed. Macy's never sent my complete order. Half of the items were missing. When I reported it, the customer service said it has been past the deadline for reporting the missing items. Worst experience.

Mens department 2nd floor. Outrageously rude and obstructive service today. A Tshirt bought 1 week ago that developed a large hole in the seam after a single wear. I was told it didn't leave the store like that so my fault. No exchange or return possible despite having the receipt and said in the most rude manner. Disgusted and not the customer service that i have experienced everywhere else in NY

I am very displease about the method that was used to decrease my line of credit. I feel it is a "Black Thing" and "older person thing". I am not angry I am Mad about the way they see people through the eyes of the credit agencies. Not the way you pay them. I was told on the phone by one of their reop that, "I can not change nothing." Well, let see.

They charged for an order which they cancelled. When I called their customer service he was so rude and asked me to return the item when I receive as it was shipped for a cancelled order. I don't have any email or tracking number for this order. When I asked for the tracking number he just hung up on me.

Tip for consumers:
customer service for Macys is horrible

I went to the Macy's in Valencia. During this time with the holidays things are so hectic but Karla at Macy's in Valencia was excellent she didn't try rushing me away she gave me the best customer service.
I did Talk to her manager to let her know that Karla was an asset to Macy's.

I don't know about Macy's website - it's not as easy to maneuver around pages as in other online shopping websites, but with all the store closures you would hope that their focus will go to their website... but how long is it going to take... I stopped shopping on their website...

I bought V19.69 Italia Retro 3 Piece Expandable Hard Spinner Luggage Set from Macy's and it is broken after my first trip. Macy's told me to reach out to Naftali Inc for warranty. (They said it had 10-year warranty)

Naftali said the warranty doesn't cover regular wear and tear. They don't stand behind their product.
Macy's didn't care.

I opened the Macy card on Feb, 2022, but missed the first pay because I did not receive the card and can't pay online, I called the customer service, paid off the card on March then closed it.
Several months later I received a bill, asked for late fees of several months on the closed account.
I confirmed several times with the operator, I paid off everything, did not own anything, then closed the account. Why there are still balance and late fees? And why it's mailed several months later? Just to collect multiple late fees? My credit score dropped 52 because of this.

Keep away from them!

You only have 30 minutes to change your order. But wait! You don't get the email to be able to change it until after your 30 minutes are up, and after that you have to wait until it ships. But now your merchandise can get hung up indefinitely in processing. So Macy's takes your money, up front, but then you are at their mercy. This is the last time I shop at Macys

First time i order from macys online worst decision ever package never received package is no where to be found. They send it through ups and then transfer it to post office where they lost it and they don't know anything about it. Try to replace it and they didn't have any more of what i order had to get a refund. Would not recommend anyone to order on line from macys ever

I placed an ordered for almost $9000 worth of items. After alot of time and energy and a 30 min call to custormer service I placed the order on line. By the next day my order had been cancelled because their system can not combined mattresses with bedding and housewares and because I had never spent that much at one time on their website they declined by offer. I tried to replace the order with customer service on the phone and literally 4 hours later they managed about $3000 worth of the items. The people were nice but no manager would get on the phone. Phone cut out constantly and their system kept shutting down. The savings may have been worth it for an hour but not for 4. The store physical has no merchandise to see and very small staff. I assume Macy's will go out of business soon.

I placed order online to pick the item in the store where I live but incompetent macys worker send a package to wrong store. When I tried to complain about the problem, several customer agents spoke with chinese accent and did not help me to resolve problems. I believe Macy's is very bad store for buyers and never place order in Macy's.

Macy's is a great place to shop. The return/exchange polices are great. And their customer service is awesome. Also if you are from Oregon (where you don't pay taxes on sales) you can go to the customer service and get a no sales tax pass (if you are out of state shopping).

Macy's have good quality products at very competitive prices. I have bought pretty good quality sport coats and blazers very cheap compared to their original prices. Macy's periodic and end of season sales are the best times to pick up hot items especially at the turn of the season.

I love Macy's- whether I order something online or actually go to the mall, I am extremely happy with whatever I purchase! I love when they have sales also! But if your looking for something really nice to wear- Macy's is the place to go

Worst customer service. I shop online to avoid dealing with Macy's poorly trained and unmannered personnel. Today, they canceled my online order. Just like that. I received a confirmation yesterday, but today, it's been canceled. I got an email and call that my order was canceled because someone blocked my account.

There was no problem with my account- same billing & shipping address, same people on the account - NOT A CHANGE in 12 years. Took 45 minutes on the phone to try to find out how to 'avoid' this type of mistake in the future, but got nowhere with 'customer non-service'. I was told to put my online order through again, because they can't undo a cancellation. I wanted to cry. No. I will not put in the order again. You've lost my business for good.

Other online business try to improve by sending out customer surveys. I've never gotten one in the past 10 years of online purchasing with Macy's. Trying to talk to a 'manager' on the phone is an exercise in frustration.

Macy's sends voluminous amounts of promotional literature and coupons. If you want to be "green" and stop paper billings you can. However, if you want to stop promotional brochures and catalogues then they will no longer give you electronic coupons in your shopping wallet. This makes no sense at all. Why have a Macy's credit card if you don't get any discounts once you stop their promotional mailings. BTW, you can sign up to get all their info electronically. But if you don't get the promotional PAPER mailings, you don't get discounts. Macy's needs to get on board with conservation! I'm done with Macy's until they do.

Anytime you order something online with their card it will go through, then later you receive email saying your order has been canceled. It has happened to me several times. You have to call customer service, they will put you on hold, for them to talk to the credit card company before the orders will be processed. It's frustrating if you have to go through this any time you order something.

I am sorry to say I use to love Macy's. Their choice of purchasing clothing are too cheap, thin, and poor choice of colors and style. Prices are too high for such cheap clothes and I go to use my coupon and it is never any good for what I choose. If I am a good customer and receive coupons I should be able to purchase anything in the store and not be limited. I can understand why Macy's will be closing..

I have to say that I haven't actually bought anything from the Macy's website but I visit Manhattan 10 times a year and never, ever fail to visit Macy's when I'm there. The sales, discounts, amazing attention to trends and the beautiful, seasonally decorated store are not to be missed. They actually have THREE Mac counters there on different levels. It's awesome.

I can't say enough about Macy's.com. Firstly, all cosmetics orders always have free shipping! Whether you order $10 or $100, it's always free shipping. I love that! They have great sales all the time, and they have lower end brands that they dont carry in the stores. I recently ordered some shoes and clothing. The shipping was quick. I am really impressed and now I know that k dont need to go downtown to pick up what I need. Thumbs up people!

The customer service {*******752 just to find out the balance on your gift card doesn't work. Lets just say over the phone customer service is defiantly not their specialty.
You have to go to macy's personally if you want to find out how much money is on your gift card...

I received my dress today and I'm quite satisfied with it!
Too bad that Macys does not ship outside the USA but luckily I stumbled upon Viaddress.com who were able to forward my items to me in Germany.

Their prices are high unless things are on sale but I've always had smooth experiences with them. Shipping is quick and accurate. Customer support is always helpful. Always smooth experiences, never had any real problems.

I recently ordered an evening gown from Macys.com. It was one of the easiest experiences I've had and I order a lot online. I signed up to get notifications of the delivery process and once it was delivered I got an email notifying me that it was there and that someone had signed for it. That really gave me a peace of mind. I would definitely order from them again.
