I recently ordered two robes from Macy's. They are soft, roomy and I love them. Ordering from them is easy and they deliver in a short amount of time!
I ordered a jumpsuit and within 24 hours called to cancel it. Was told that the VENDOR would respond within 24-48 hours that they received the cancellation request. Haven't heard a thing and my item is still being processed. Three days later. When I click on the tracking there is nothing there. Macys customer service rep told me it shipped. I can request a refund if the item is not here in 6 DAYS? The website said 2- days.
I added two dresses to the cart. When I checked out and a message popped up said that one of them was no longer available. After I checked out with one dress, I found that the other one was still available online. So a couple minutes later I called customers service to ask if they can add it to my existing order. But they can't. I called customers service again about 15 minutes later. I would like to cancel my order and I will buy them again together. But I was told that I couldn't cancel it. That was so wrong. I have to pay the shipping to return it. So be careful with your shopping online with Macy's. It is not free shipping, not free returns and you cannot cancel it after you placed the order!
I am so disappointed in Macy's customer service when customer service informed me to contact customer service and that was from a supervisor. I was trying to contact the manufacturing of Belgique pots because my pot's copper bottom separated from the pot, which Macy's is the distributor. To my greatest disappointment that Macy's has turned into a Walmart mentality.
I had to call the customer service line 3 times before someone could help me with a credit card issue.
Instead of the customer service to help, I got hung up on 3 times because no one wanted to deal with it.

Things that I order online never come but keep on showing as delivered on my front door. Products that I order come totally different than what the order is. I hate that shop, worst mistake buying stuff online from their shop
I love the Macy's web site. I buy all my work suits and jackets. They fit perfectly. Usually, I have a problem with ordering on the internet, but never have had a problem with Macy's. I totally recommend using their web site for all your ordering pleasures!
Customer service does not want to resolve the issue. They never respond to emails neither assist during the phone calls (the most recent experience - the agent refused to confirm the receipt of my emails).
So, the thing is I used to shop here every single day and online they don't carry the same thing they carry in the store sometimes. Like my jeans size is NEVER online but its in the store. Sometimes the prices are different too sometimes more expensive and sometimes cheaper. Also, I ordered a purse and it just said processing for about a week and didn't take money out. Then finally the day I received it (two weeks after I ordered it) the money came out. I never had that happen before with them and I wasn't pleased.
Other than that, the sales are phenomenal. The customer service is helpful. Be very alert on how they charge your Macy's card. It took them almost a month to fix a discrepancy that wasn't my fault but they fixed it and I continued to shop. My wardrobe is filled with Macy's items. They normally deliver promptly and everything is packaged neatly. Take advantage of the sales.
I ordered a lapdesk that arrived broken, took 30 days to arrive and it came broken, no reply to my request for a refund and now they want 50.00 more because they say I voilated the some agreement in their fine print, I filed a claim with paypal. Spread the word, Stay away.
Truly terrible customer service. I just finished call #3 trying to get an e gift card refund. I'm w the AF overseas. If you have an APO or FPO address stick w Kohls, Penny's, Amazon, anyone but Macy's. The refund is supposedly done but now I get to wait 7 - 10 business days for my money to come back. I'll believe it when I see it. The issue was my billing address, I could go on but I'll stop here. Their fault, their business practises suck and like I said, if you're overseas... stay AWAY from Macy's.
My order arrived in 5 days with the economy shipping (?!?) and they emailed me about a note I put in the comment section of my order about an item that was out of stock and when I could get it. I didnt think anyone read those things!
I ordered a number of items from Macy's recently. Not all of the items were immediately available, so I received my items bit by bit, but the final delivery was received within three days of the first delivery. Macy's could have just held my items until they were all ready (since the time between delivery of the first and final items was negligible) but went ahead and shipped them as they were ready. Macy's delivery time is always speedy!
I ordered a wedding shower gift from Macy's online. I was asked at checkout if the item was a gift and I said yes. I assumed since I did not request gift wrapping, the gift would be shipped to me. When I went into tracking I learned that the gift was shipped directly to the bride-to-be. I have yet to hear from the bride that she received my gift. I will never check "gift" on future orders from Macy's. No where did they indicate the gift was being shipped directly to the bride-to-be.
My name is Andrey, and I made an online order for some cologne last Friday and Saturday. I get an email that they canceled my order so I called customer service and they said there was an issue with the address. We are sorry the money isn't gonna go back on your account yet which was $175 but we can re-order it for you so I had them re-order it. Which took out another $175 and then the next day they canceled the order again because they weren't able to deliver it the same day. Which is stupid and doesn't matter to me even if they delivered it later, so I called customer service again. They said we're so sorry there's nothing we can do. The money isn't gonna be on your account right away, but we can order it again. So at this point they took out $350 and haven't fully returned anything or giving me my cologne so I told them to put in the order again. And at this point, I am already speaking to a supervisor because the representative was super disrespectful, kept speaking over me and then ended up hanging up on me and when I ask for her information, I'm pretty sure she gave me a fake name and said her name was Barbara but no last name no ID. Nothing. And until I started getting upset only then she tried to give me a 25% discount even though now I am negative on my account and I can't order any cologne from any other place. Because they haven't returned the money yet. Three times I tried ordering cologne and the third time my card declined because they made a mistake twice so I'm gonna do everything in my power to get more retribution than 25%. I have plans for that money.

I didn’t use anything, because they kept canceling my order for their own stupid reasons, I still have all of the emails, and Bing transactions that they took out $175 twice. Yeah I still got left without the cologne I wanted to purchase.
I'm not happy with this policy "last act" which mean you can't return or exchange something even if doesn't fit you or like it. (When we buy online we don't know if it is going to be something right for you or if you are going to love how it looks on you). I used to go to the store to change the size or return if I bought something that at the end I didn't like or fit. Once at the store I always looks around and buy more things. Now I can't order online because if the item is last act I have to keep them like it or not. Sometimes we buy more online because of time, and if you go to the store, they don't have what we want and they tell us the item is in another store or that we have to order online. I know the shipping cost but the prices or items increase too. So that shouldn't be an issue and I think you should remove this policy, modify or make exceptions. Hope you have better ideas of marketing. A loyal customer buy always because we are happy! So please change that.

If you live in Canada, do not and I mean DO NO order anything from the States that uses Borderfree. I usually ship from the States to TSB Shipping in Point Roberts near the Canadian Border. We go down a few times a month to pick up our orders. The orders are usually there in 2 to 3 days.
I ordered a bunch of clothes from Macys for my wife's birthday and was automatically forwarded to the Border free web site.
If the orders I pick up in the USA are under $250.00, the Canadian border guards just waves you through. No Duty and no Taxes.
I ordered about $200.00 worth if items from Macys. It took over 3 weeks to be delivered and I was charged and extra $130.00 for duty and taxes.
All this because Macy's won't accept a Canadian Visa card. I buy tons of stuff out of the USA and this is the only place so far that does this.
Plus the stuff didn't show up in time for my wife's birthday!
I cancelled my Macys and BorderRipoff accounts.
At the stores it depends on departments and which stores. I have had some great customer service and then I have been ignored and they lost a sale. I do like the selection they have in there stores. I have never shopped on line.
Very disappointed! Since a severe accident in and out of hospital for 2 years flat lined and coma I'm just learning to walk again I was canceled because I didn't use my card. No thought of a customer with no late payment I always paid more but their ethics are none I feel they have no respect for my health are well standing. I'm still unable to drive 2 hours to a store close to me and I do not do online. I'm a hands on person. But they only care of money not a persons life. I'm struggling but I'll get there and I will never reapply I already know what their thought is on their customer. I'll use any of my other multiple cards but. Very disappointed and discouraged of sending anyone to their stores again. And sadly I used to make special trips just to shop there. Discouraging, disappointing and disrespected!
I have been struggling with purchasing from Macy's for some years. How can I tell what the shorts look like when they're hidden deep between the thighs of someone who clearly should not be modeling? Since when do you want a woman (if you can define what that is) looking at the picture and wanting to look like something that just DOESN'T. LOOK. APPEALING? This is just poor marketing strategy.
There are no customer service agents available to take a return and the links on the computer do not work for a return. It is impossible to do a return. Went on the Facebook and got through to them. They fixed it all.
Do not purchase an extended warranty for furniture. Better yet google the brand of furniture they are selling and purchase the furniture elsewhere. They will sell you an extended warranty but when the time comes to use it they do not stand by it!
I love my macys card and the deals that they have but their customer service is terrible. I repeated 3 times what I wanted and the lady Alexis still didn't understand me. When I requested a supervisor she placed me on hold then disconnected the call. I called back and the guy I spoke to didn't understand what I wanted either. I had a credit on my account and requested a check. How hard is that?
Do not shop on macys.com. They canceled four of my orders immediately after placing them, deducted money for each order from my card and have not refunded money from my card for almost a month.
They don't provide support by email, they say call! And I'm deaf!

My husband bought a reversible belt in July, 2023. It was the 2nd purchase of this belt, because he had faith in Macys. Even when the first belt turned out to be poor craftsmanship, he was willing to give them a second chance. The second belt was no better than the first and the dual sides quickly separated. We went to Macys Customer Service Chat and were immediately shut down because the belt defect didn't appear within 30 days (Macys' policy). So disappointed with Macys.

Macy's website for my Macy's American Express credit card is really awful!
Some thief was able to obtain my password and order clothes online, however Macy's did call me to check on it, since the address was wrong, and they did not let the order go through. There is no place on their website to " sign in ", and after I found the correct website, I couldn't find what my balance was or when the payment was due. The screen kept freezing too, and it wasn't my computer... The quality of their clothing has improved but there are still some flimsy cheap garments on their websites, and I rely on the reviews from other customers to choose
I just received a black jeans jacket I ordered from Macy's.com. The picture was so cute, black jacket, SILVER buttons, one of the main reasons I ordered it. When it arrived it had black buttons, no silver. I was so disappointed!
