I recently ordered two robes from Macy's. They are soft, roomy and I love them. Ordering from them is easy and they deliver in a short amount of time!
I ordered a jumpsuit and within 24 hours called to cancel it. Was told that the VENDOR would respond within 24-48 hours that they received the cancellation request. Haven't heard a thing and my item is still being processed. Three days later. When I click on the tracking there is nothing there. Macys customer service rep told me it shipped. I can request a refund if the item is not here in 6 DAYS? The website said 2- days.
What happened to macys? They are worse than Walmart and that is hard to do. Try hiring people that can fix problems and not just read a card. Supervisors are always busy because no one knows how to fix anything. Ordered baby clothes and received wemon underwear and they blame me! Will not buy again no matter what. Maybe they should just close!

Macys is a great brand and a good place to get just about everything you need to make your house look great. The customer service is rather slow, but if you take your time and be polite, you wont have any problems.
I'm very disappointed as the quality of the products that I received are not even close to what I expected. It is crazy that clothes that I received look very cheap with very low quality and the price is not fair even after sail. This is my idea about ordering on line from Macy and will be my last time ordering. From som many things that I ordered I was only happy with my braw. The rest was waist of money.

So I bought a beautiful designer purse... pay a lot for expedited shipping, had to track my package only to find out that it still had not shipped... it was somewhere in their system, meanwhile I get an email asking me how I like the purse... telling me it was delivered... so spent hours on the phone with people I could barely understand explaining that I never received it... They acknowledged this and I asked them to just process a refund... Had to call again as no refund email was sent... ended up calling the store and asking the manager to make sure a refund was processed... BE VERY CAREFUL SHOPPING AT MACYS found the same item on Amazon for $40 less...
So much for being a Platinum Card Holder (for well over 20 years) and supposedly will have first rate customer service. For the 7th or 8th time, I called regarding 2 items I never received! Unbelievable…. Not only did I not receive them, I ended up paying for the damn things and the late fees! Macy's had the audacity to "warn" me today that they could take my "charging privileges" away! All over $81! For me, it was the principal of it all! No worries, Macys! I will just close my account!
I received a necklace set for my birthday from a relative. However as time went by the chain turned black. Macys refuses to exchange this item. The quality and material used to produce this product was very, very poor. I rate Macys as a 1 for poor customer service and quality of products.

I placed an order online and it was canceled because they can't validate the info I put the order again with another card and Paypal resulting in charges on my card and still they canceled the order because they can't verify the info. Called the CS they are the worst can't speak English and asking for ridiculous information they can't validate because I have an alternative phone number. All BS. Bye, Macy's see you crashing down soon. Your business model and CS suck big time and your online store is a disaster.
Ordered a dress and paid the extra $20 to get dress altered to size. Sent them all of the measurements that they required. Dress came in anbd couldn't zip it up because it is 2-1/2 to 3 inches too small. Wanted to send it back but read the fine print on their website. At their discretion they will return up to 1/2 of your purchase price. Also stated that size can vary from 1 to 3 inches. Who wants to buy a dress that could be plus or minus three inches. At least if it had been three inches too large I might have been able to take it in but three inches too small is for the trash can. Learned my expensive lesson, stay away from Izi Dress Sales and buy American.
Macy's claimed it is 40% off today, including Eestee Lauder. Please try to order the day cream, which is 40% off per he web. Either the web is not working well, or the day cream is on on sale, but it is on exactly per web. It's sad that I have been shopping at Macy's for The last 30 years and it has been going downhill
Do not apply for macys this is the worst company. You do not wanna work for them they dont let you go on break on time and will try to find the smallest reasons to fire you if i could give them negative stars i would.

False advertising and bait and switch at its finest. Would not recommend. Ordered one item (12 pieces deluxe) and they sent inferior item (9 pieces) probably hoping that I wouldn't notice. Never shopping at Macys ever again.
Horrible customer service, nonprofessional and rude. They did not even try to understand the issue to help. They delivered the package to a wrong address which is unknown, I did not receive any item and then they refused reshipment or refund.
I return item to Macys by mail, they send me email that they received and I get my money back in 3-5 days. Two weeks later no refund, so I call, the person I spoke to promised me refund in 3 days. No refund, I call 5 times even spoke to supervisor still no money. It's been all most a month.
Macy's customer service is terrible. Call online and it's some ESL person in the Philippines who isn't fluent in English and it's always aggravating to try to get them to understand the issue. Or call the store, and be subjected to voicemail only, no way to contact a dept. like bedding, which isn't listed in the voicemail. Used to be able to press zero and security would answer and transfer the call, but no more.
And the prices are sometimes overpricedafter all their discounts, you could buy it at the same price at Amazon, so check around before buying.
The nice things are the generous return period and the sale prices when they are discounted from a true retail price, not an inflated price.

Macy's credit card system has a two account per customer. If you have an Amex( American Express card) you have two accounts. Supposedly purchase in store is placed on the in-store account. Out of store purchase is placed on Amex card. However if you only have an Amex card, all payments go on that card. In-store credit card is Citibank. Bill statements donot differentiate. Plus credit card calls go to a call center in India. The staff struggle with english and other staff can be heard in the background. Your information is not safe!
I love shopping with Macy's especially when it has special promos. My most recent purchase was a Lancôme gift with purchase. I was sent the wrong free gift item and I called up the customer service. I ended up getting a 15% discount on my purchase as well as a $25 Macy's gift card since they didn't have the correct free gift item I originally requested after I mailed back the wrong item.
P.S. I also used Upromise rebate site, thus on top of all the discount & gift card I received from Macy's, I also get 10% cash back on my purchase. How cool is that!
I purchased a rope 14k gold necklace from them, original price 2700. 00 I wore it twice and my neck broke out bad. My husband took it to be appraised and they said it was not real. I took it back never said we had it appraised just it caused a rash
They gave me a refund and dropped my credit to the nearest hundred owed. Now my credit reflects 98% usage
Smh you better watch what you purchase in fine jewelry.

Excellent customer service, there was a slight hiccup with their online ordering and I couldn't get my order placed. I called and they apologized profusely and gave me a discount off my order, which I had not expected.
Costumer service canceled my online items because in the past UPS did not deliver it to my address. I have a camera that shows no body brought anything. Now I can not purchase online again because Macys will not let me. Terrible, I feel so offended by this company and I have years of purchase history. All my payments are on time. Shame!
Ordered some home decor. Good price/ quality. Shippingcosts are okay. Only one negative thing: Customs in other country. They don't give the opportunity to pay this while checking out but this happends a lot. I will buy again in this shop.
Last but not least: be careful and look to other webshops because it's possible to buy the same things a lot cheaper.
Is not the first time I bought a perfume in Macys at it is fake. Few days ago I bought two perfumes, Blue (Channel) and Sauvage (Dior). Today I opened my Sauvage and is fake! Smell horrible, like a cheap perfume, smell a alcohol. When I called Macys customer service they told me sorry, they cant do anything. My last time to buy something in Macys

I have never been happy with Macys. People who worked there do not want to work there. They are unionized and some think they just need to show up and work 2 hours out of 8 and that is OK. I was a Xmas wrapper there once. Yikes.
After the internet sales start to climb I have not shop there. But every time I go in I wonder why I even came in to shop there in the first place!
I still love Thanksgiving Parade and all the old timers and old people still shop here so I want them to survive. But they really need a new brand make over fast!
Due to my job, I move a lot. When I am in countries with expensive clothes, I prefer to shop online and Macy's helps me to buy designer clothes for very attractive prices, that I enjoy. But, some of my orders were messed up - wrong color shirt for example. Also some times I got few items less because they were actualy out of stock (but website tols that they were available). But their international shipping by DHL is very fast and not so expensive, and the prices are realy good so my overall experience is good.
I haven't been disappointed in none of the products that I have ordered from Macy's is easy to return products that you don't want and get your money back and it's easy to order.
