I recently ordered two robes from Macy's. They are soft, roomy and I love them. Ordering from them is easy and they deliver in a short amount of time!
I ordered a jumpsuit and within 24 hours called to cancel it. Was told that the VENDOR would respond within 24-48 hours that they received the cancellation request. Haven't heard a thing and my item is still being processed. Three days later. When I click on the tracking there is nothing there. Macys customer service rep told me it shipped. I can request a refund if the item is not here in 6 DAYS? The website said 2- days.
I have ordered various products from Macy's before, in many different categories. They have good sales, great return policies, various free shipping deals and faster delivery and return service. They also provide you with the ability to respond to their surveys
On their performance. They back up the items they sell and always pack them well. I can count on Macy's especially since the closest store is an hour and a half away from me. I have to shop on line, mainly.
After hearing a lot of good things about Macy's, I decided to go into the store and check it out myself. Sadly, there was nothing I could afford, and nothing I would want to pay so much for. Believe me, I had money with me. But if I have $50, I would rather spend it on multiple shirts instead of just one.
Macy's has some great specials and discounts at times. The great thing is that often you can combine several of their sale/special codes and get even larger discounts on what you are looking for. Recently I was able to combine a couple codes and purchased two beautiful black leather Coach handbags at less than half price for gifts. And I got free shipping on top of that.
I have had super good experiences with Macy's. I primarily order online since I live rural and they have competitive prices especially on the sale items and a very easy "my account" set up. I had one annoying experience with some hand towels where they didn't notify me that they were on back order, but other than that 99% of my others orders were great. I think that the towel back order was the only time I had to contact customer service.
I have placed an order over 4 days and still haven't gotten an order confirmation and yet my CC was charge. I have been calling customer services and I just get a robot. Macy is supposed to be a great company and my order's were Mother Day gift. If the company is not working through this crisis and then why would there Website still be up for customers to order. I am very upset and this will be my last time dealing with Macy's.
I had to call them 4 times and explain the issue each time. It is unfortunate that the issue was till not resolved. I have been told they would call me to place an order now. Very poor customer service.
I just scored some lovely shoes during their summer sale. I love when you go to the register and you think you're going to pay one price, then it turns out to be at least 30% less than you though. One can't have too many shoes :)
It is virtually impossible to get through to a live person if your need is not directly related to the prompt offerings. Also, was told when I called last night that I would have a 32 minute wait to speak to a CSR. I waited 1 hour and 11 minutes and then was told I had another 32 minute waiting period. Of course, I hung up after that period of time. Whoever is running this company should get a jog at McDonald's and be grateful for it.

Almost every order I've purchased online has been excellent and if not it's very easy to return/exchange in-store rather than pay for shipping. Any time there has been a problem with an order Macy's has made it right. A little expensive sometimes but always GREAT sales so if you wait you can usually get a really good deal!
I bought at pocket book for my wife there and the sign said 30 percent off sale. Upon going to cashier she said the sale is only good for Macy cardholders or zI can apply for one to get the discount. This is prejudice toward all non card holders! I will never shop there again and I urge all to boycott them for their prejudice policies.

I have shopped in Macy's several times but being Canadian, its a process that takes place whenever I have enough reasons to go over to the US and when the exchange is at par or near par. I liked most of their products, clean, no crowded aisles like the big warehouse outlets where too many go to shop. I leave Macy's feeling good and it stays with me so 4 stars for Macy's as prices are good but not always as good as they could be.
I`m their returning client for a year now, and always I got exactly what I ordered, fits really as it should or as I expected the clothes to fit. The delivery is pretty fast and accurate, the return was a bit fussy, but anyway I returned the item only once, so thats okay.
After I received 3 items of ordered online, noticed there's a defect (invisible defect, but I can feel w/my finger).
So I returned all 3 items via UPS (I placed all three in one same box).
They gave me refund for only one item.
That was 45 days ago.
And every time (I called about 3,4 x), they were running me around for the refund of the other 2 items.
Today (3. 25. 2022, Friday) I called Macy's again and told me to partner w/UPS and research thru UPS which is ridiculous.
Very disappointed of their procrastination and running me around and very irresponsible.
The first time we tried to get them to honor their warranty on a mattress, they flatly refused. There was a small stain on it. I do not know why this would matter unless they intend to reuse the worn-out old mattresses. The second time, it took months to get them to honor the warranty, and they replaced it with a worn-out, used mattress! I could hardly believe this! We took the "hit" of a restocking fee to return it, and will never buy a bed, or anything from them, ever again!
I will never shop again at Macy's. In addition to embarrassing myself in front of my girlfriend and other customers…. Someone processed my refund AND I never returned the item. This is fraud. I placed a fairly large order online. I was able to use 2 promo codes even though I purchased sale items and also got free shipping. I ended up saving almost 75% on my total order AND had it delivered to my house for free. Everything was packaged well and received in a very timely manor of less than a week.
I attempted to exchange a dress purchased in March 2022, with the tags still attached (including the Macy's tag stating that "We will gladly return or exchange any items with this tag attached"). The dress was clearly never worn and all tags were attached. I became ill soon after purchasing the dress and have lost quite a lot of weight as a result, so the size 14 dress no longer fit. When I went to exchange the dress, I was told that it needed to have been returned within 90 days of purchase, even though this is not stated on the tag. I spoke to a store manager and to the customer service phone line, but was still refused. I have been a loyal Macy's customer since 1992, a Platinum card holder and a frequent Macy's shopper, but their disgusting lack of compassion and decency led me to cancel my Macy's credit card today. I hope that an exchange of a simple $149 dress was worth it Macy's! Shame on this terrible corporation.
Macy's has deceiving online billing practices. If you set up automatic billing on your account it is turned off if you do not have a balance for 1 month. This is a terrible consumer experience. If you think your bill will automatically be paid and then you find you have been charged a late fee and interest payment because your automatic billing was "turned off". Does Macy's expect me to purchase something every month? On top of this complaint, their online billing system does not email a card holder about an upcoming bill or a missed payment.
I placed an order for $401 and never received the items. Called customer service and they asked me to call UPS and deal with them because the item showed delivered. I will not buy buy anything from them again. I'm pretty sure they will loose more than $401. I was an active purchaser. Be careful when placing orders

I ordered an electronic gift card for a friend from these morons on December 4th. Web site said it will be delivered in 3-6 business days. On the 6th I got email saying it was hipped and be delivered in 3-6 business days. Fast forward, seven business days later they have not delivered and have no idea where it is. Customer service is staffed by pathetic souls located in India. Worst service ever, worst company over. Will never order from them again!
I purchased several items online but wrong item shipped. Bill and shipping slip had correct item listed (Pendant)but I got earrings. I called listed customer service and got in automated loop. Tried online help but no longer available. Tried logging in to account but have to change password but cant change password because i have to log in to do it. Macy's used to be a nice store with quality merchandise but not is about what you would expect from a discount house.( stuff made in China and customer service from India). May as well shop at dollar stores.

I keep trying to order items off their site, however, their Verified by Visa thing doesn't work. Just keeps me on a loading screen forever. Once I exit out, it removes my coupons(without notifying me), so I need to go back and add them. Then I start the whole process again, and it doesn't work again. Just going to shop from somewhere else.
Horrific experience. Worst customer service. Impossible to get through. "On hold" for over ONE HOUR as they were trying to figure out a mistake on a refund check they mailed me. The mistake was entirely an error on their part! The tone and attitude of the highest level representative I asked to speak to was dismissive and accusatory as though it were my fault. Unforgettably awful experience. A fraud of an operation.
On this passed black Friday, I went to White Mash Mall Macy"s store to buy a pair of pearl ear ring. It cost me total $100.70 and charge to my Macy's american express credit card. Exact amount. Today I returned it due to my friend doesn't like it. I only got $95.95 back
To my macy's credit They deducted $4.75 return fee. This is not first time they charged my returned fee.
Some info for everyone to know. If you buy a $1000. 00 watch from Macy's and in less than 3 month later battery in that watch dies they will charge you $60 for battery replacement and $80 for cleaning. That watch was worn one time. Also the return policy is 6 month but you can't return it because tags are off of it.
