Beautiful well made dress. Colour true to the photo on website. Very comfortable fabric. Well made and the material is rich and flows as I walk. Many compliments. Fast shipping. Help given from assistant was much appreciated. Jj House is my preferred online store for formal dresses and accessories.
I ordered a dress on line that was too small, but was able to swap for a different style. I do not like the new dress at all. When I asked to return for a refund they refused. Now it appears they have blocked all of my means of communication. I can't access their site and they never answer their phone. Mailbox is always full so cannot leave a message. $550 lost. BTW the new dress came with no receipt.
My dress was not what I expected but they were very helpful at offering me a refund for my return. They offer very beautiful dresses.
Bought a dress did not work out for me Simon was generous to refund me the purchase. Sorry did not work out for me.
This company advertises on Craigslist to pay people for giving the business 5 star ratings.... just an fyi
I contacted this company to inquire about a dress and their return policies. My fiance and I are eloping next month and didn't want to chance not being able to return it if it didn't work for me. The individual I spoke with seemed very nice told me about a restocking fee and I was happy with that. I ordered the dress received it and it wasn't what i expected. I contacted them they told me it was a special order just for me and was a final sale... lets back up. Special order I would have been able to order the size I needed I was given one option on size and again I called SPECIFICALLY to verify their return policy. My fiance called to explain the situation as I was beyond upset and see if they would rectify it with doing the return. The young lady told us we could not do anything and we were stuck with the dress. He asked to speak with someone else like management and she said there was no one else to speak with. She eventually told us to hold like she was going to get a manager we held for 30 min and then got hung up on. We called back and asked to speak with the same person and someone else came on the line no hello how can i help, explain to me what happened, he literally answered and said we already told you we wont do it. He was extremely rude and abrasive. My fiance then got upset and said something that yes he shouldn't have but the guy who we found out is one of the owners used beyond foul and sexually vulgar language. We then contacted them again we were told the alternate owner would contact us and they never did. To sum it up I would never ever recommend someone use this company. They do not follow through and are not customer friendly in anyway.
Five days ago now, i ordered my prom dress off Madame Bridal, the next day i recieved an email saying my dress was discontinued, out of stock, and nowhere to be found in this country. So, that means they will NOT be sending me a dress AT ALL. So, the next day (three days after the day) i find a new dress that i wanted to order and call my card to make sure i have enough money on it and they took out my money! So i call to tell them/ask why and the customer service was horrible and the lady was very disrespectful and had an attitude. She kept trying to sell me a "similar" dress and i had to continue to explain to her i want the same dress or no dress at all and i would just like my money back! After she realized i wasnt going to accept the "look-alike" she told me my money should be back on my card by "tomorrow morning" and that theyd send me and e-mail confirming it. Maybe 10/15 minues after that phone call, i got an e-mail saying they put the money back on my card! I called and checked - NO MONEY. But iwasnt surprised, i figured itd take atleast 24 hours for it to go through. I checke 3 times today, still the money is not on my account. I called yesterday and today to tell them i want and need my $400 dollars back and im being hung up on, and ignored! Ie-mailed yesterday, and still no rply... I believe this is a thing called FRAUD
I purchased a dress online from madamebridal.com. It was darker than I thought and much heavier fabric than it appeared. I asked for a refund
My order was placed on September 5,2019. I left town on September 12 and apparently the dress arrived that day. I returned on September 20 and tried the dress on. It wasn't what I thought it would be and I contacted the email on their website to ask how I go about returning it. Since I live about 40 minutes from a store in Boynton Beach, FL, I suggested that maybe I could return it to the store. I was told that this dress was a 'special order' and that returns are unavailable for special orders shipped from manufacturers. I ordered directly from the website and did not see anywhere that I was placing a 'special order'. I have gone back and forth with someone who remains nameless and have no phone number to contact. We have gone back and forth with numerous emails. I told this person that i was going to contact my credit card company and file a dispute for the charge and that I will post buyer beware reviews if they refuse to return my money. This person then told me they could write negative reviews about me as well? I finally gave up trying with this person and contacted my credit card company and have filed a dispute.
I have seen other unfavorable reviews about this company, with others having the same experience of being told it was a 'special order'.
This dress is for my daughter's wedding and the one I purchased is not right. All I want is my money back.
They finally offered store credit which makes NO sense. If they will give me credit for the dress, why won't they just give me my money back? If they will give me store credit, what are they going to do with this dress that is not returnable?
I just want my money back

Senior my daughter has worn lots of beautiful gowns. Most of her gowns have been ordered online with no problem. She was in love with a Sherri Hill gown that we searched endlessly for to no avail. Some how her Dad logged on to Madame Bridal and found the dress in the color and the size (00) I might add.He ordered the gown immediately I was skeptical because I had never heard of this business and have seen so many websites with imitation Sherri Hill gowns so I hoped and prayed it would arrive and be an original. After 10 business days still no dress. Now I am beginning to worry maybe this was not a legitimate business. Less than a week for the event and no dress. I called and spoke to Alana who went above and beyond to assure me of the genuineness of our purchase and validity of the business. After speaking with her I was informed we had not supplied the proper address for delivery. Alana again was extremely professional and courteous and I must admit and apologize as I wasn't the best customer I could have been. She assured me I would receive the dress in time for our event, assured I provided her with the correct address and less thank 24 hours later my daughter stood in her room in her dream homecoming dress! Might I add I live in Mississippi. If I could rate Alana a million stars for her service and the smile she put on my baby's face that still would not be enough to express my gratitude! We will definitely be ordering our Cotillion gown for December event from Madame Bridal... I hope Alana will be there to assist me! THANK YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK ALANA!
I placed on online order 3/10. Was told the item will arrive no later than 4/30. Five days later I contacted the store and wrote an email to the owner requesting a cancellation of the order. On day six (yesterday) the item arrived. So of course the owner never planned to email me back. Why the item arrived so quickly in my opinion is so that they can keep all your money and not refund a dime. How does an order that doesn't even give me a shipping confirmation, as they said they would, get me a product from China so quickly? Again, in my opinion, they ship it overnight so you really have no recourse to stop it and the payment. Most online retailers wait until the items ships before charging the amount on your cc. No, not these people. They charged immediately, even though they claimed the item would be arriving sometime before 4/30. Be careful people, they also charge you a $10 drop shipment fee, and there is NO reason to pay that fee. That's another way for them to take your money "legally". PUUULease... these people rip you off right and left. The owner is 100 years old and has seen and taken advantage of every trick in the book. He's sitting on all kinds of wealth from yours and my money. Why can't bridal websites STOP taking advantage and just act more like department stores, which refund your money if you are unsatisfied or change your mind? Because it's the wedding business and they feel they can rip you off because they know you'll be trying several dresses before you find the one. Just look elsewhere. These people are not worth taking your money like they did with me. Why are the return policies so strict? Ridiculous, in my opinion. Go elsewhere, where they treat you like a person and not another pocketbook. Very unhappy. Now I'm stuck with a dress I don't even want or need. I will not pay these people another penny to "take it back". I will pay a tailor money to have it shortened and wear to other events. All I can say is I'm so relieved it was on the lower end of my price range so I was out only a few hundred and not several hundred. BE SO CAREFUL. I have learned so many lessons on this first attempt to buy a dress from a reputable retailer, that I may write a book. This place will be a chapter of what not to do, all negative. GOOD LUCK PEOPLE. LOOK ELSEWHERE. Stick with the department store websites, which allow you to buy and return if needed.
Oh yeah, the owner told me his name is Simon. Was I talking to Simon Simon? The owner's name is Brad Simon. If he really cared about customer service, sooooo many conversations would be totally different with customers. Of course they tell you that you get a free pair of earrings, my $#*!. There is none and never have been. They suck and anyone that continues to buy from them after all these negative reviews: well, I guess you don't care! Good luck to you then. Everyone else, stay away. Thank you.
Tip for consumers:
Be very careful who you give your cc information to. The bridal retailers will eat you alive if you are not educated in the bridal dos and don'ts.
