Magcloud was really great at responding to an issue I had. The magazine is very high end looking! I am a wedding photographer, and I wanted something super nice for my clients to take home with them after consultations as well as to be given to other vendors. Magcloud did an excellent job! I ordered them on 8/10, and they came in today on the 17th. Way faster than I expected! The print quality was pretty standard for $5.60/copy.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Our company ordered about 50 brochures from Magcloud. Our experience started out okay with receiving a test brochure to see size, paper and print quality. We submitted our artwork and received a great proof back. Our order arrived in the mail completely misprinted and totally unusable back in early December. They have no customer support phone number only a inquiry form to fill out online. I'm still waiting for a response! I had to take to their Facebook page to get any sort of response and even then they said "they've made my request priority". Totally unacceptable! Should've read reviews before working with them because they're all the same!

I ordered magazines - all damaged, misaligned, terrible packaging. Replaced and all damaged again. They told me twice "no refunds under any circumstances." Their refund policy does not say "no refund anywhere." Don't ever use them - alot of wasted time and money. Magcloud does not care at all about their customers.
Tip for consumers:
No stars for this company - they don't care about their customers.
I printed a small photo book through this website. When the proof I ordered arrived, it was unusable- title font missing, text cut off, white borders on pages (and I did everything right w the original pdf to avoid this problem). It took multiple emails over the course of 2 weeks to finally get ahold of customer service. They sent me a refund and I put the order in again, hoping for better quality. The proof arrived, again unusable and with printing errors. Now I'm in my second round of trying (and failing) to get someone at customer service to respond to my emails.
My customer service experience was atrocious. When placing the order I was told it could be delivered by the date needed for a trade show. After uploading the file, and adding questions to the order notes, a customer service agent reached out to tell me the order would be meet my deadline. I requested that it not go to print, because it is not needed if it is delivered after the trade show, and I had found a different company who could meet the deadline. The customer service agent ignored this, printed and shipped the order. The trade show is passed and I have a massive pile of catalogs that have to go into the recycling bin. The agent was rude, unhelpful, and unresponsive to requests. Furthermore, the print quality and paper is poor.
Editor of a startup photography magazine here. Magcloud was not our first pick for paper quality, but the option for readers to purchase direct and have it drop-shipped, in addition to their low quantity orders was appealing for a startup with limited funds.
We ordered 100 copies of our first issue (to the tune of $1700) and they came with a distinct blue color cast. After going back and forth with CS for over 2 weeks (via email, because no direct phone #), sending multiple photos of the original proof (that was correct) compared to the blue ones, they're telling me they need me to fan out all 100 magazines and take pictures of every single one before they'll reprint. Seriously? Because the 10 photos and samples of 5 wasn't enough.
Meanwhile, $1700 down the toilet. Sub-par printing on a photography magazine is kindof a dealbreaker, but the lack of customer service is the ultimate death knell.
I have not received my order as well as any reply from the support team that is supposed to reply within 24 hours as stated on the website. Unfortunately it's not possible to rate this scam company will not recommend to anybody.
I wanted to close my MagCloud account due to poor customer service, but attempting to do this is not even a possibility to do on my own. Why is that?! I've spent about $1,000 in services - and planned on spending more throughout the year -- but my recent complaint about a print error (even though I created my publication with the MagCloud preset) was not resolved to my satisfaction. Apparently, MagCloud does not care about my business, so I have no choice but to look elsewhere for online publication services. Thank you for not caring about small publishers, MagCloud. Your service is cool, sure, but your customer service is not.
Nice site to be able to print your very own magazine. Only 4 bucks per issue so that is a pretty good deal to be able to basically start your very own publishing company with a high end magazine for clients or customers.
I was very excited to work with Magcloud to get my students' work published. The price was right, the promised turnaround time was quick, and the uploading process was easy. Then the promised delivery date came and went. Then all emails went unanswered. I finally got through to someone via Facebook, though they just keep bumping my emails back to email customer service. There is NO PHONE NUMBER to talk to anyone.
I spent hundreds of dollars... it's now two full weeks after the scheduled delivery date (which means they've had the files for 3+ weeks), and I have NO update on when/if the books are coming and no way to get an answer. When I log into my account, all I see is that they are "printing" (the same status it's been for 14 days).
SO DISAPPOINTED.
I will update IF the books ever come...
I did a Family booklet chronicling the history of my parents and their children. I uploaded it to Magcloud and ordered two copies just to check the quality of the print and paper.
When they arrived I was pleased with both the photo quality and the paper it was printed on.
And their pricing was economical.
I thereafter ordered 50 copies.
I have nothing but praise for Magcloud and they delivered promptly.
I worked with this company and there magazine sales and distribution for about a month. Everything was going great, the quality of the magazine is good, the shipping was slow, but they ruined my business. After having multiple isses approved and printed, they decided they will not print any of my previous magazine cause they changed the way they print. THey have told me they canceled all of my order from clients, but my clients have not been informed. They wont answer emails when there is a problem. It has taken over 2 weeks to find out if my clients will be refunded and they still will not answer my questions. If i could give them negative revciews I would. This is a horrible way to run a business.
This site had pictures of my 15 year old describing her body as a busty babe. Once I discovered the images and reported it they did remove the publication but seemed completely unconcerned that someone published it to begin with. They were only concerned with not being associated with it. Good thing I took screenshots and have everything already reported to thr center for missing and exploited childre. As well as a police report. Absolutely disgusting
GODS CHILDREN ARE NOT FOR SALE
I paid extra money to have a book be delivered next day. The date of arrival comes and my book says it's still being "printed". Won't be receiving my business any longer.
First of all there is no where on that website that they provide a phone number but I found it on my statement of my cc, so here is the Number *******999 San Francisco California
Ordered one magazine I received it and It was just a test run, then 4 days later I ordered 10 magazine to have for my customers and its been 14 days and its not shipped, and when I put a ticket in to get a reply back they gave me the incorrect information that I ordered digital copies which is not the case, no one has gotten back to me and now that I am calling this number, I have been on a hold for over 16 minutes and no one had picked up so I would say I am just going to Dispute the Charges and cancel this account- I wish I had checked them out better but I will never use them again and be sure I tell everyone I know to use anyone else but this service. I am very disappointed and hope my review will help someone else. Good Luck and Thank you for reading
Tip for consumers:
No except I am still on hold 20:44 seconds and guess what I just got disconnected so no one actually picked up very very bad business and I would not use them at all.

First of all, if you order be aware that they print darker and far more dull color/vibrancy wise than any other printer out there. So pull the exposure and saturation up a bit (learned this the heard way).
After that, I was pretty happy using them for flyer type materials (no way would I use them for anything that was intended to show exactly how I shoot and edit.).
This time, I placed two orders on 9/4. One arrives on 9/12, and the other says 'ordered' (not even printing que yet) so I email about it. A lot of prodding for answers, they finally got it printed and my package of 25 digests were delivered on 9/19. AAAANDDD... they are not trimmed to the correct dimension, and thrown together sloppily (pages are uneven).
9/19: I email about this via their website (where you cannot upload photos, only send message).
9/20: They respond asking for photo proof. So I send a photo of the digest with a tape measure, as well as a photo showing the uneven pages.
9/21: They respond saying basically they need proof that all 25 digests were not trimmed and are the incorrect size. So I take a few photos showing the stack of digests and showing that they are ALL 6" in width, not 5.25 as they are suppose to be. And... no response.
Maybe I'll get them in a month or so from order date, wouldn't that be nice.
I'm done. After ordering from them for years, they are making me jump through hoops to prove that what I am telling them is true over $39. THIRTY NINE DOLLARS. Give me a break. Just reprint it already.
Tip for consumers:
That it would be SO difficult to get things squared away when the company messes up.
I ordered 300+ dollars of product for a charity event I organize. Paid rush shipping and etc.
By the day of the event, the items still had not arrived. Four days later, I got the product. The event is over. Now, though beautiful books, they are useless to me.
I had to go to the local office max and pay double for same day printing so that we had this product for our event.
Magcloud has only responded to my problem with a form email and a refund of the shipping.
I have now paid 900$ for a product that I should have only paid 300$ for and the best magcloud has been able to respond with is a form letter and 47$.
This is truly a disappointment as I hoped to use them for things in the future because their costs and quality are great. They were recommended by a friend who also uses them.
But right now I'm feeling like their customer service is very subpar. I'm disappointed to say the least. I will be continuing to pursue avenues to get this refunded to me as, for all intents and purposes, this item really never arrived to me-- because I could never use it.
My publishing company has utilized MagCloud to print magazines for quite some time now. No complaints, no improvements necessary.
Use them and enjoy.
It does not load properly and often gets stuck on one page so you can't search anything or find what your looking for without great effort
DO NOT USE MAGCLOUD, They made me pay $50 just for shipping! They sent me the WRONG magazine and REFUSED to do anything to correct it. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM
Uploaded the PDF.
The MagCloud PDF Viewer showed that everything was good.
Ordered on Oct. 31 to get by Thanksgiving - it was an advent project and needed to get to the client by Dec. 1
12 books printed - and delivered before Thanksgiving but there were Printing Mistakes
I contacted Support
I was told to re-upload the PDF. I did and again it looked good
Again 12 books printed and delivered only a few days before Thanksgiving - and still the same Printing Mistakes.
I was told the problem would be kicked up to Tech Support the Friday before Thanksgiving.
I didnt hear from them that Friday - so I emailed again
I didnt hear from them the following Monday - so I emailed them again
I didnt hear from them the following Tuesday - so I emailed them again
At this point it was Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the deadline was missed.
I had to scramble to patch together the books in some fashion - the client was disappointed and I was embarrassed.
I NEVER HEARD FROM MAGCLOUD AGAIN.
I turned to BLUB (sister/parent company of MagCloud.
What I learned in a live chat each time you respond to MagCloud, you get put at the back of the line. So in other words, punished for advocating for yourself.
MagCloud has served me well in the past but this time they blew it. Not by bad printing but by bad customer service. They provide no clear path to contacting them and it seems email is all they respond to - or rather DON'T respond to in this instance.
The phots below show a screenshot of the PDF PREVIEW on MagClouds Website, and how those pages were printed...TWICE.
