“Excellent, free, webmail. I've had an account 9yrs”

Since 2013 I've had my account. It has typical features. I have 12 folders added to sort mail. It has good spam control. Aft I got familiar with its differences find is easy to use, as any other free webmail.

Account was closed by their mail.com system with out any notice and all of our emails and data were cancelled I wonder how can they stay on the market with such a miserable service Perhaps they pay some freelancer from india, balgladesh or pakistan to code their mail.com webmail Maybe that's a love story between mail.com and the pakistani programmer? And perhaps they don't want to hire anyone else? Data dell'esperienza: 14 febbraio 2024

This is the worst email provider.

I had created an email address for my friend who was thrilled to finally have an email id with her name as it is i. E. with no numerical extensions. She then proceeded to pass this id to her close friends.

Second time login was okay.

Third time onward she started seeing a message "unusual activity please change your password". Needless to say, like the previous reviewer, the account was blocked.

They then made her download an attachment for the Firefox browser. Now message has changed to "technical problems. Please apologize"! The English too is so poor!

I would rate this site in negative if there was a negative rating. Never ever use this site. This is the most undependable site ever.

This email service is a bunch of crap. I have lost a lot of my data and always being locked out of my email for no reason what's so ever. The security dept gives no reason. Thank God I never was a sucker to buy the premium version.

I opened 'premium' account and placed newspaper recruitment advert with the newly opened email address as a contact point. And the account has been blocked because of 'detected irregular activity'. So any potential job applicant is getting message that 'delivery to this address failed'. Called 'premium support' (good joke) and the only what they are to say is that 'they forward my request to 2nd level'. It has been like this for a week.
So I paid over $2000 for the advert with dead email shown.
Big mistake...

I had problems with my new Email account so contacted customer support via email. No response. Then I wrote them on twitter and they just didn't care and took days to reply to one message! And they still didn't help me! They just said sorry use a different Email service

Started using their service for business emails. I had business cards printed with my new email on, used the account for 1 week then they blocked it. No reason why, I wasn't doing anything that breached the T&C's so I now have to reprint 500 business cards and have the embarrassment of notifying my customers. Avoid this email provider.

This webmail is the worst. You have no control over your account. They decide for you how you should use their mail services. They just decided to block my account for no reasons. I reached out to their customer services without any success. No flexibility. No communication. No support. You can't solve anything with Mail.com. Their definition of support is to block your account without any warning and/or explanation. Their support is totally absent. Their customer services couldn't care less of your situation and not willing to help you out. They told me "too bad."

Even trying out this service will cause your referenced email acount to be a target for spam. They sell your email. So do not give them a important email when you sign up. Stay away, a free account is not worth the trouble.

Mail.com blocked my account for no reason after I've been using it with no issues for months! No warning... just blocked and after several promises to ‘look at my case', nothing has been done! I've lost business contacts, contracts & certificates thanks to Mail.com! Unless your emails are of no importance, don't go there with Mail.com

I am a user or mail.com and have noticed that mail.com is against Trump and against Christians. Mail.com uses fake news and propaganda on its news pages all the time. I am switching to another free email account. We don't need another bias fake news source in our USA... mail.com is another source spreading negative outlooks on things that they seem to be against. Probably ran and owned by people who do not do any honest research or don't want to... the people who run the mail.com news are immature idiots. Please spread the word.

I've had both free and premium accounts with mail.com, until I noticed that a lot of emails I was *supposed* to receive would never arrive. I had used it as my primary personal email for a little over a year with a premium account not very many issues the first year, but going into year two of premium, I had a lot of issues. From not being able to cancel the subscription due to lack of funds, to my emails never arriving or taking days to arrive, it was just a total mess. So I finally was able to cancel that account and tried a new account to see if that would get emails... I think you can guess what happened. (Same thing happened, if you were unable to guess). That was a few years ago, but I still wouldn't recommend them as it sounds like they've just gotten worse in the approximately 2 years it's been since I last had an account with them. Look up their reviews in Google play or here if you don't believe me. They now disguise ads as emails to get people to click/tap on them.

Tip for consumers:
Get rid of it before you get locked out or lose all your important emails before they arrive. Seriously, just get a new email. No matter the work right now, it'll be worth it when you don't have to deal with customer support anymore.

Do not use this email for any purpose where the emails may be important. I set up to separate accounts and each was blocked after about a week of usage. I sent a request to unblock and the response was that they refused to unblock the accounts. I lost some very important emails that I cannot retrieve! The absolute worst email service out there. Terrible... Terrible... Terrible

Mail.com cancelled my email accounts I didn't use for some time due to lack of use. They were opened for specific purposes other than continuous use.
Foolishly, I signed up for several email accounts again which I haven't been able to access. My correct passwords never work and now mail.com attached itself as my search engine and I haven't been able to remove it.
One star is too high a rating I would rate it as a "0"!

My account was blocked as soon as i made it.
The only answer they provided was "We have forwarded your request to unblock your account to our security department and it was determined that the account in question will remain blocked.
Please note that this is a decision made by our abuse department and we do not have further information we can provide to you."

Contrary to other reviewers, I love this email provider, but only because I use it exclusively for my junk mail. I use it as an extra email for online stores I don't visit often or newsletters. It also has nice extensions, instead *******@hotmail *******@gmail, you can pick something different. I *******@gardener and I use it for all the gardening sites newsletters I sign up for. They also don't ask for security, or verification, or phone number ect, just basic email.

I wouldn't think of paying to upgrade though, or using my personal info, business info or credit card info on this website. Just a great extra email for my unimportant stuff!

Mail.com is HORRIBLE. Long term customer, but for past year mail.com keeps blocking my email.
They blame everyone else. After a month of complaining, one rep said "This is happening to many
Accounts. The new spam program doesn't work." Mail.com said they fixed my account, but still, to date,
Sending an email is 50/50 chance of delivery. DO NOT USE MAIL.COM HORRIBLE.

Trying to cancel the subscription to their "premium" mail service requires you to jump through a ridiculous number of hoops. I used them for years, but as soon as I wanted to cancel it then all the trouble started. Stay far, far away from them.

I'm willing to bet that most of the negative reviews on here for Mail.com are fake. Their email services are fantastic! I've never had one single issue with this company. I sync all of my emails, contacts, calendars, notes and reminders with them without any delays or missed communication. Their premium services and customer support has be nothing but A+. I would much rather pay to use their services (with *******@mail.com email address using my actual name) than use Gmail or iCloud where it's next to impossible to find an available name, having to add numbers and whatever else that hasn't been used. You might have to take a few extra steps to sync everything correctly by using CalDav and CardDav settings, but it's ridiculously easy and quick to do.

I tried to sign on to my account and got a message with something about strange activity to my account and to contact them. I contacted them and they sent a form letter response about trying all of these other ways to get into my account & to respond to their email if nothing worked. Totally ridiculous since nothing listed applied. Anyway, I did respond and no response within a reasonable time. DO NOT USE!

One day my account just stopped working. I log in, it says my account is blocked and to contact them. Weeks later they respond my account is flagged for abuse, its forever blocked, and they won't ever unblock. Literally all my social media is tied to this account so I can no logger log in because of 2 factor. Can no longer access my facebook because they want to verify my account via code to email, and I cant change email because I don't have access.

Awful terrible platform.

Keeps wanting me to allow ads on my e-mail. Why should I? It gets aggravated when I refuse. If you forget to log out you get a long message when you log back in. Important stuff goes to spam. Takes too many clocks to get in. Terrible email site.

I am a premium subscriber, i liked it at first because i could add the mulitple email addresses i manage. Sadly, the account was blocked and this the reply they send me.

Dear mail.com Member,

We have forwarded your request to unblock your account to our security department and it was determined that the account in question will remain blocked.

Please note that this is a decision made by our abuse department and we do not have further information we can provide to you.

With kind regards,

Yesterday I tried to log in to my mail.com account for the first time in a couple months, and I received a message that my account was blocked. I filled out the contact us page and told them that my account was blocked and I don't know why. I got this as a response:

"Dear mail.com Member,
We have forwarded your request to unblock your account to our security department and it was determined that the account in question will remain blocked.
Please note that this is a decision made by our abuse department and we do not have further information we can provide to you.
With kind regards, Your mail.com Support Team"

So my account has essentially been closed with no warning and no explanation whatsoever and apparently there's not a thing I can do about it.

I didn't realize my email account would get deleted due to inactivity. I regularly used my mail account to sign up for games and etc, and it was basically a junk email account so I didn't get spam on my main email, so not much lost. But I'm gonna use Gmail from now on. Way more reliable.

This email provider is a Joke. I have 2 accounts with them. One personal and another one business. The first time they blocked my personal account and now the have blocked my business account due to activity, what activity, I am a logo designer! The email maybe free but they are not to be trusted. You will setup an account and after a few months they will block you. Its not worth the stress and unprofessional service you will get from this provider.
