Recently we had booked our air tickets, Hotel and 3 days cab from Bangalore to Hassan through MMT. It all worked fine though it took some time to contact the driver at Bangalore airport. Even though the MMT invoice clearly stated the amount to be paid to the driver, he demanded additional 3 days outstation charges. This left a sour taste in the mouth after an otherwise perfect holiday.
A very bad site. Disregarding customers' time. Changing a ticket took more than a week and the trip was lost. In exchange for the site putting an additional amount on the ticket, I did not receive the ticket. After many calls and procrastination by customer service, they asked to pay an additional amount as well. An unprofessional and bad site by all standards of the word. 0000000

I have booked a hotel in makemytrip by selecting option pay at hotel. They have charged 1 rupee on my credit card and they saved my details. I thought if i go to that place than if i stay in that hotel than i can pay. But i didn't even travel to that place and stayed in the hotel they have charged ******* rupees. And from credit i didn't even got any OTP for this transaction it got debited directly from credit card i have called my ICICI credit card team and said this they are saying that this is International Transaction you won't get any OTP's for this kind of transaction.

I was booked family package for 6 persons from Mumbai to srilanka from mmt as diwali premium packages.
At the time of booking, they informed it is a group packege and 15-20 people will be there in your package. But actually it is 39 people and big bus is for trip. It is takes one hrs too get to gether and waste of time. Not usefull at all. They are cheating to the people. More over, their India staff is not supportive and they don't know any thing about package. T

Please don't book any hotel from this I booked a room and get confirmation of booking form make my trip, when I reached at hotel property, hotel staff denied me to enter in hotel property, it was at night 9 PM, and said I have not given any confirmation to make my trip.

One of the agents of makemytrip.com, Mr. Sajin, cancelled my family ticket on my request (worth AED 4901) offering me the refundable amount of AED1920,
Trusting him I agreed and he.sent me confirmation email as we.
After 20days they did refund me just AED253/.
Remaining AED 1967/ do not pay me back.
When I approach them over the email or phone same old replay we need 48to 72 hours to sort it out ticket asked cancel on 26 July 2023.( more than 3 months)
No action has been taken place just message me same stating 47to 72 cut copy message.
This is really cheating nothing else.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been calling for days. Firstly, they take ages and ages to get you actually talking to someone. Secondly, mine was a booking made in the US so they told me they'd have to get the US office to call me, which was never processed. I have been calling them for a week to get simple information and no response. Absolutely not recommended by me.

I had booked an international flight(a three legged journey). After I had payed the amount and and got the confirmation, the next day they call me and say the flight DELHI to CHICAGO has been CANCELLED FOR SOME UNCERTAIN REASONS. They could not book me on another flight for the same price nor could they do anything else blah blah. I argued for a while then gave up.
Later on I find out from another local agency the prices had shot up the evening I had booked the tickets and so MMT instead of stating the real reason they had outright lied to me saying the flight was cancelled off! And all this when many itineraries still showed the same flight!
Horrible liars! Worse still you cant relax thinking your job is done as they can cancel off as they please, especially if the prices suddenly rose after a while of your booking!

Never book from MakeMyTrip, the cashback they say comes after 3 months and they say that we are not concerned with the cashback the bank will be, it's not in our hand, I made almost ******* amount of booking from make my trip of hotels, but they have no idea if the money has been received by the hotel or not, I have to directly call the hotel and ask them if they received the money, they give option of pay at hotel and charge more, still the amount gets deducted from my card, no response and appropriate help!
Everytime a new person just keeps calling to know if the issue is solved then from the scratch keep explaining them what is the issue and same story again... it's a pain!
I regret saving some penny! And go through this and that too still not received the cashback!
They have weird answers saying, the cashback will only come after u enjoy the trip and come! Some say it's not in our hand bank will give.
They don't have idea about the hotel, they will get back to their senior then get back... and then I have explain the whole story again, in that much time u will get better response from the hotel directly only!
Really never ever booking from make my trip again!

Indigo Airlines confirmed to me that they have already credited the refund amount to Makemytrip. However, Makemytrip is not refunding the amount to me in spite of repeated requests and reminders. Very pathetic service by Makemytrip. Their Tollfree number or any other customer support number is not operative. There is no reply to various e mails. Unable to reach Makemytrip by any means other than e mail. I have sent at least 10 e mails since June 2020. But not a single mail is replied. I can say that Makemytrip has stolen my refund amount. I had taken a Holiday Trip for myself and Family (Four of us) to Mauritius. Overall the visit and the way MMT arranged were good, but there was a problem with the HOTEL BOOKING. I had booked for TWO rooms since we were all adults. At the time of booking, MMt also confirmed as TWO rooms. However, on landing at the hotel, the hotel authorities booked us all four in one 'FAMILY' room. The room did have two Bed rooms, but the problem was ti had only one Bathroom. Hence it became very difficult to get ready in the mornings. The local service provided did try to get a change from MMT India, but there was no help coming. Finally we ended up spending all Seven days in ONE room and this made our holiday experience quite BAD.

Stay away from MMT website. They are not clear in their information and you will stand to loose. Booked IXE-BLR-MAA return flight on Makemytrip.com in March 2017. Ticket said "refundable" - but that information is not for the customer (as we discovered) - it si for the MMT staff to calculate refund if any and tell you if you call them. No information or help on that option. Lost money on a rebooking and also foudn out that the ticket is NOT REFUNDABLE. Other sites are more reliable and clear.
Am not surprised at a low rating. After 8 years of using MMT, wil NEVER use MMT gain. Would like to warn others to be wary too.

After make Payment to Makemytrip, and booked a flight ticket, some issues happened to change flight dates, and I kept whatsApp them but they ignored to respond, I call there toll Number, and its out of service, and I emailed them multi times but they never respond. I felt like I am dealing with scammers because no respond at all, and I paid money to Airlines themselves to change flight date.
I REGRET THAT I DEALT WITH THEM.

MakeMyTrip make trap for people by offering cheapest prices flight tickets, but if you will contact them regarding changing flight date, or Airlines will change flights time or date due to changing schedules of flights by Airlines own decisions, MakeMyTrip won't even bother themselves to inform you

I had an extreme bad experience with makemytrip.com. They deducted money from my bankaccount and did not give me the e-ticket. Every time I call, they will make me wait and disconnect the call - PATHETIC SERVICE. Different times they will come up with different stories - payment is on the way, payment has been made, payment has been cancelled. I talked with Taranpal, Sangeeta and their supervisor Pankaj - and everytime i am being told some stupid stories and they make me wait and then disconnect the call. I am facing utter harassment by makemytrip.com - they are wasting my time like anything. Not sure whether I will ever receive my e-ticket or whether I will ever get the refund.

I am a student and I accidentally booked my tickets for the wrong month. As soon as I received my ticket confirmation details, I called makemytrip's call center. Firstly, I was on a wait for atlas 30 minutes after which they told me how they would connect me to their "international booking call center" which was another 20 minute wait. I finally get hold of an agent and tell him the issue, apparently he tells me that the ticket was booked at 11.30pm and he will charge me $150 as cancellation fee even though I called them right away. I was over the phone for 3 hours till 3am! WASTE OF TIME, MONEY AND ENERGY. SAVE YOURSELF! I learnt my lesson to NEVER book from makemytrip.com

Wish I could place a lesser rating. Such crappy website and service! Gawdd... I am surprised they are still in the business for so long. If you get to do a webchat with their so-called Excecutive, things would be pretty clear as to what you would be facing! Totally unprofessional, non-service oriented, noobs and nerds work there. A 10/10 avoid.
Especially for NRI's please avoid this lest you would repent. They change flights, rules. Charge extra and best of all-cancel your ticket without refunding money!

I had an opt to book with Cleartrip where I was getting 2000 cash back credit in my bank account, unlike MakeMytrip where the amount gets collected as "bonus" amount in your mmt wallet which apparently has an expiry date. Well, I am still fine with it. But the real trap comes when I can use only 5% of the amount to make my next booking. So are you trying to tell me that in a span of 4 months you expect a normal person to take vacations every single month so as he can very safely earn 2000 rather still would not be able to earn and enjoy the feel of the cash back.
Freak bro! That is some marketing gimmick! Hidden terms and conditions it is.

I missed ma flight abd requested for date change nut they asked for 3000Aed. I unintalled the app coz i used 1900aed for around trip, and then asked for 3000aed for direct flight to rebook for me. And also they can make u talk to like 8 of their agents and end up not being helped

We (me and my wife with knee pain) booked a taxi (using MakeMyTrip phone app) to goto my town from Bengaluru Airport at 1:AM on May, 24th. My mother and relatives waiting for me with father dead body to be cremated after my arrival to home.
I paid an advnace of Rs 1800+ to MakeMyTrip, the taxi did NOT come and they did not inform me the cancellation. After waited for a longtime on the customer service call and I was told that the taxi to cancelled with a blunt answer.

When contacted they said my bank over debited instead of admitting they submitted different amount to my bank than invoice resulting in VISA fraud. There is no customer service. One of the phone number posted is not in service at all. No other way of communication such as email etc is available. Everyday people are reporting frauds committed by them I am surprised why the company is not black listed and on top of that their executives are invited for public speech.Highhly disappointed but will try if a group of persons who are victims of their fraud can join hands to get thjs company banned
