I had a fantastic experience using MakeMyTrip for my recent travel plans. A very bad site. Disregarding customers' time. Changing a ticket took more than a week and the trip was lost. In exchange for the site putting an additional amount on the ticket, I did not receive the ticket. After many calls and procrastination by customer service, they asked to pay an additional amount as well. An unprofessional and bad site by all standards of the word. 0000000
I had an extremely unprofessional experience with this company. Emails go unanswered, and in the event of an issue, they neither respond nor provide a resolution. I strongly recommend considering an alternative provider to avoid potential financial loss. Particularly noteworthy is Mr. Abhinash from customer service, who displayed significant unprofessionalism throughout the interaction.

I initially booked a ticket with them, but there was an error in the booking. When given the option for a refund or an alternative booking, I chose the latter, yet there has been no progress—no responses whatsoever. Interestingly, my sister encountered a similar issue with another provider (trip.com), and they efficiently resolved her matter within just two hours. The disparity in professionalism is quite evident.

Worse experience with MMT. A agent named Naziya Tarranum is worse customer service provider.she planned a trip without looking into the customer requirements detail. Later she refused to cooperate and didn't received our calls, when we required her help in between the trip. Initially she was rude and unprofessional during the call. I'll give 1 out of 10 in rating. This will be my last booking from MMT.

I booked a flight on 5 Jun 2015 and on payment gateway i received an error stating transaction failed and i didn't received any email or sms for confirmation of booking.So i tried to book it again and on second it was successful.
After couple of days just confirm my flight timings and date, i check my makemytrip account and i was shocked to see two bookings for me same flight same date and same name.
I called customer support of the company but there was no help. They said an email and sms was sent to you for the first booking, 3 times they register my complaint provide my the complaint and told me get in touch with you in next 5-7 days but i didn't received any call.
Looks like i have to file a case against them in consumer court. Will try once again to sort it if no help then have to fight for my rights.
Never ever book any of your holidays with this disgusting company as they will make sure you have a pathetic & a very disappointing experience from.the beginning.even before your trip commences! Stay away from this fraudster company. They display falsified messages about cancellation refunds on their systems. Extremely unfriendly service and cheating all the way! Lost money and peace of mind as well because of them. Hope thye shut down.
In 18 years of travel, I cannot remember such inefficiency.
All I asked for was a change to my ticket.
I called 8 times, sent 5 emails, even visited the local office.
They kept saying yes, we will, then did not even bother to call back.
I had to endure 7 hours more on a 2nd connecting flight and collect and recheck in my bags twice!
They are slow, inefficient, not knowledgeable, untrained, just give any answer to end the call.
Managers do not get back to you on time.
Be prepared to have a lousy, frustrating experience if you use them
If it goes smoothly, it is just by chance, not because of the company.
Use the airline website directly, much faster, better customer service.

Horrible option. CAUTION TO ALL USA residents. I booked my ticket along with insurance and was trying to contact them to change dates.
1.800 numbers on site are not valid
2. Landline number no one will pick up and when it does the automated system will not accept the phone number with country code or without country code
3. Email -- always will get an automated message to chat
4. Chat- Page load errors and when it loads we will be stuck in first page
5.Chat call back--Page can't be displayed.
I didn't create a login as I won't travel much to India so I don't have a way to communicate with makemytrip. Worst place to book your tickets.
Pathetic support from customer care when it comes to refund your amount in case you cancel any trip. Its been more than a month I haven't received my amount from them and when ever I call them up they says it will be done in 24 hrs and they will give a call back to confirm your refund, none of it happens.
Really frustrating support and I would prefer & suggest never use that site.

Horrible customer service and useless staff, people who are uneducated and work in a udipi hotel respond with some sense. Wish I saw the other reviews before going ahead with my booking on this crap. They just rob off your money, and cheat people under the covers of providing service. Beware!

Mum to colombo and back in oct 2015 and they said i will get 4000 rs cash back but have not got till date... Called them many times only thing they do is lodge a new complaint and ask to wait for another 7/10 days... Liars and cheaters! I should have booked from another site
I cancelled two tickets due to corona virus and they refuse to refund the money back to me. Money is sitting in their stupid wallet and I have until April next year to spend it through them or lose the money.
I will have to buy something off them before April to avoid losing my money but after that I am never buying anything from these scammers.
Total Scam. They charged me over $200 for a bogus reservation. When I called the hotel I was told there was no reservation made for me. The hotel representative also told me they were experiencing a great number of guests coming in to stay at the hotel that did not have reservations because they were booked through this MakeMyTrip.com. When you call to inquire about your reservation issue the customer service numbers don't work. They are not real. If you go to the website to cancel a reservation through the "cancel my reservation" link you will get an error message.
Cab was booked and amount fully paid five days in advance. But the supercabz agency person finally cancelled the booking at the neck of the moment and made us struggle a lot very badly. The trip dint commence and us showing tat it is completed. Customer care also could not be reached.
Dont do the booking from make my trip at the of cancellation they will deduct many charges which were not agreed at the time of booking. The Staff is also unprofessional in talk.

Good site for making travel arrangement.
However, recently they allowed me to book a ticket on a flight that was just 1 hour away from departure... i booked it mistakenly thinking they would allow booking within one hour of departure becos usually before 3 hrs they stop selling tickets online and you have to visit airline ticketing counter at airport... so thought the flight was next day and mistakenly booked it with air india. Then tried to cancel within 5 mins of booking, but they did not allow me too and asked me to contact air india. Agree mistake was on my part partly... however, they should not allow ticket booking 1 hr before departure online.
I booked my tickets on Makemytrip. There was a small error in my email ID. A random person called and cancelled my non- refundable ticket. Makemytrip did not verify my phone or passport details with this person. The person who called said I am his wife and therefore calling from a different number. And I have lost all my money. Makemytrip did not compensate me at all for improper verification for cancellation.

Do not book with makemytrip.com. They will screw you over and run away with your money. I tried to cancel my booking and I could not get a hold of anybody to help me to do so and now I have to pay $629 out of my pocket because things didn't match up and it looked sketchy and when I tried to fix it no one would help me. Recently we had booked our air tickets, Hotel and 3 days cab from Bangalore to Hassan through MMT. It all worked fine though it took some time to contact the driver at Bangalore airport.
Even though the MMT invoice clearly stated the amount to be paid to the driver, he demanded additional 3 days outstation charges. This left a sour taste in the mouth after an otherwise perfect holiday.

I am reviewing not one but almost all departments of MMT today - the Visa team, the call centres, the flight booking, the holiday packages... You name it. It cannot be a worst experience in any dept. All are as $#*!ty as possible. No one knows the correct response of any query / concern, you only keep getting transferred from one to another executive. You are not given the right phone number, you are kept waiting for looooong! There is no response except Let me check! Worst experience ever. Guys, never ever travel with MMT. MakeMyTrip is an organization that has failed to provide a good service, to keep their promises, to give accurate assessments and they have a tendency to fob customers off after they have expressed their dissatisfaction and disappointment from their personal experiences. I have been offered a future travel voucher instead of a cash refund to make sure that I am bound to them for future trips against my wishes. They seem to abide by unethical and unprofessional policies that compromises their customers' happiness and total satisfaction. An absolute let down and a complete rip off...
Searched for flight options Kolkata to Bali. The price was ******* for two persons. While making payment ******* was deducted.
They show a certain price fare and at the time of payment excess is charged.
They take advantage of limited time validity for OTP hence without realizing you land up paying more.

Pathetic experience with makemytrip with my recent bookings, MMT asks for extra money for re-booking of flight due to Air Line cancelation for package trips. Due to multiple cancelation I ended-up paying extra to MMT, and they denied to refund the extra money paid by me.
