The Astoria queens ny manager asked me to sign a paper which I was led to believe that it was the application for the credit. I asked him point blank if it was for the application and he said yes. It turned out to be the last page of the order, luckily, I was suspicious and wrote that the signature was for the credit application and that this was not a sale. The store made it a sale and when I spoke to synchrony, they accepted the sighed document as a sale but would not acknowledge what I wrote. When I received the notification of the delivery, I notified customer service and the Astoria store, The assistant manager there said she could not stop the delivery. Allegedly they dropped off the free stuff, but the mattress was held. Then synchrony was charging me $300. For the free stuff. Customer service at mattress firm credited me but did not investigate the fraud as far as I know.
