It gives me an unpleasant feeling to see my art on someone else's page. Which is not the problem, but what is problematic is this: I uploaded my pictures on pixabay.com so that people if the want can link back to my profile or picture and can tip me some money if they fee like it. Max pixel wants all the credits for something they have not worked for. Avoid them. Go to pixabay, pexels, unsplash, etc.
My reviews, as you'll come to know are about sites that I find have egregious administrators who steal from sites that I and many others work hard to produce and upload free-to-download content for sites like pixabay.com
www.maxpixel.net is another "scraper" site that take the vast majority of content from websites like Pixabay, Pexels and Unsplash and demand attribution in order to command notoriety from stolen resources.
Stay away from them like the plague.
Tip for consumers:
No. Do not use this site at all.
Products used:
Absolutely none.
This site, Maxpixel.net is the product of a bunch of rogues: they have cloned Pixabay, no sooner have you uploaded your stuff or... hey ho, there are your photos on Maxpixel. They have a paypal button in place to pay THEM for the stolen Pixabay content. Just compare the design of Maxpixel and Pixabay and you will immediately see the similarity. If you check the language you will also immediately notice the laughable English, which in itself is enough to betray the falsity of the site.
Please do NOT take anything from Maxpixel but go to the original site instead, which is PIXABAY.
