Paid of 3k without ever missing a payment. Then they ketlpt charging me 10$ a month I askednthrm to stop and after a year the bank told me closing the account was the only way to stop them from taking money from my account. Then a guy named Andre emailed me saying I owe 30$. I said no and send me a bill. Then they posted me owing 270 to trans union saying I missed payments. I asked for a detailed bill and he said look at my account and see what I owe from missed payments. I told him that account does not exist because of them and I cannot check it. I asked again for a detailed bill and he stopped messaging me.
They are the only company I feel isn't trying to rip people off with over priced items that would cost at times double at those rent to own places. Also, flexible low payments unlike those other places. It has been nothing but amazing with MDG.
They're never clear in my terms, they sound like I'm always an inconvenience, they make excuses for one another as in "oh I'm sorry to hear that he may have been having a bad day" like ok? Leave that at the door before you clock in. Rude. Just all around rude. Can't wait to get my things then I won't have to speak with them as much. Cause god damn they're the worst. Can't even track one of my items! Don't even want to call the trash support. Maybe had like one good call. That's it

I have been dealing with mdg for a little over a year now and since my account balance has never changed, when asked about this they say I've missed 8 payments. Not true. This whole time that I've done business with them my account balance has never ever differed. Not to mention if you do the math for a game console with their interest rate you'll be paying for two consoles after your done. If they're going to charge that much interest for their items it should at least be helping build your credit rating but it isn't.

As for the interest rate, it is based on your credit assessment and is different for everyone. The faster the balance decreases, the less interest you pay and the more money you can save. In addition, all payments are reported as long as we have your social insurance number on file. I have made three different orders from MDG. My most recent was in 2015 which was a couch set. Today I'm considering purchasing a bedroom suite. MDG makes it easy and convenient they deliver right to your house and do all the financing for you as well. The payments can be arrangement with payments you receive from your job or other places of income.
I would recommend this company if you don't have the greatest credit or just don't want a credit check at all.

Very helpful from start to finish. Fast response to my constant emails and nagging questions. Only one time she didn't respond within a few hours, and it was my fault, she'd already left for the day on a Friday. I called customer service and they were very helpful as well. Highly recommend them!

My agent, Milena, made the entries process way too excruciating and long. It took over 2 weeks from the start of the process to closing to get it to ship. Whenever any complaints were made relating to the amount of time, she just shrugged them off and constantly sighed in frustration if anything negative was said. When I asked to have a manager call me back, I never received a call. Your company has terrible customer service.

Ordering experience was good. It's the process afterwards. MDG holds the money for 5 days after the buyers bank pays and it shows being posted. Then the actual delivery takes forever. As of this writing I have yet to receive the products ordered even though by the time delivery is made 2 payments will have been made. Why doesn't MDG just come out and say 2 or more payments required prior to delivery? Again my overall experience is positive. I understand this maybe nit picking but should not have to wait 2 weeks to receive the order.
Not a big fan of leaving reviews for every single thing I buy but since I know others will have questions as to whether this is legit or not I thought I would. The process was fairly easy once I submitted the application and verified my info. That was it. The payment options are cool. I was set up for $29 every two weeks but decided to do $14.99 every week since i get paid weekly. I will be paying off soon since I'm not paying a trillion dollar interest rate like with other companies

I can't get them to stop taking my money, or they threaten to put me through the credit bureau.
Years ago. (At least 3, maybe 4!).
I missed a couple payments. I told them don't try to take money out of my bank mid-month, because there isn't any there. Just charge me a late payment fee and add to the end of my contract.
That's exactly what they would do though. Just do they could charge me NSF fee's, and whatever other fee's their lawyers can find a name for.
Of course my bank charged me NSF fee's as well.
I spoke to an East Indian guy this spring and he said..."Don't worry, you won't have to pay past November".
Now I see they've scheduled the next 5 months of more payments through my bank.
You know what they want?
More and more and more!
It's never going to stop.

I had a rough patch with credit. Etc I heard about MDG so I gave it a try back in 2013 and perfect easy simple and quick. Then again 2015 and again 2017 and 2018 and now 2019. I recommended my brother. He purchases a laptop etc
MDG needs to make sure paper work is correct and for ur own security protection i would feel good about a company who checks paper work well and assure ur safety. For those who had such a bad exp w mdg! Is shocking. I never had an issue with them and my items have been paid on time never missed a payment. MDG! Is our seco d chance when we need something so bad and can't get at the moment. Mdg will safe u a**.

Sign up for membership yet I noticed that it cost way more then the asking price. There are lack of selection of item and don't really know when I will receive my order because it would take 3 or 5 business days for them to update it which suck for the customer

I recently ordered a laptop from mdg.com. They were very informative about all the specs of the item. As far as financing it was easy as counting to 3. I'm going on 1 year of their service and I must say I'm very impressed. Some companies raise their prices after certain items sell faster then other's. They kept theirs the same or lower. It's a very good investment.
Well for the most part, I was a little weary about online shopping. Especially when it comes to rebuilding my credit. However, the reps with MDG were very helpful with getting everything started. I really like the notifications I get when my next set of payments are due, theres no hassle. I would definitely continue purchasing my items from MDG, and will recommend them to all my family and friends.

3 months ago my rate was a lot lower, today its 10 - 15 points higher but my credit is better! I dont get it! Product was damaged on the way out to me. MDG would not send a replacement overnight, so i cancelled the order completely. They just seem sneaky to me.

MDG is a total scam. Overcharge and bait n switch. Cheap crap parts. Cheap power supply cable keeps losing power.
They do not honor warranties. Everything about this company is shady.
Mdg=Mostly Damaged goods.
They are carp paid for a TV today and after paying having to go through another verification process... which literally every step of the way is been like this... I had to pay 299 for shipping and handling and having to wait 9 days maybe longer on my TV. On top of that it could take 3-5 business days before the verification department will contact me its a complete scam I feel like at this point all this after taking the money out of my account. Benjamin. And Andy... no help at all I don't even know if this company is in this country at this point

Over the past 4 years i have purchased 2 samsung tvs via mdg and it has been a pleasure! Payment flexibility. Ability to push a payment to the end of the contract. Representatives are quite friendly and polite.
I have also recently purchased a queen sized mattress set which was delivered by the brick. The 1st delivery was not even what i had ordered and the second looks like it however i asked for firm and this bed is very soft. The material covering the top of the mattress has detached from the mattress itself so it makes bumps.
In all for electronics i am beyond pleased and mattresses i guess its to be expected when ordering online and not going to a store.
Just an all around pleasant experience. Products are top of the line. First person I talked to was amazing, helped me through the whole thing and is the reason I bought threw them. Shipping is fast coming from Canada.

Response from the company as a whole is lacking. Have asked several times what the total would be to pay off the debt with zero response to this specific debt. Lost my job due to COVID and was met with zero helpful alternatives to defer payment in my time of need. Despite my perfect record with payments prior to this time. Unless you are desperate for poor quality furniture at horrendous interest rates, i would absolutely avoid at all costs.
