I became a member of MeDirect in the beginning of 2024. It is easy to open an account, but that is it.
The app is very slow and often crashes, even with a notice from Google Play that the app crashed too many times and should be uninstalled.

Next to that, the bank doesn't always transfer the money. Not even when it is approved. I noticed this initially and I thought it was my mistake, being new to the app.
It wasn't.

A few weeks ago I transferred €300 to a foreign account. When the receiver didn't get it within the days the bank had in place for this, I contacted them.
At first, I needed to have more patience. Then when it came to day 7 that the money wasn't received nor transferred back into my account I wanted to open a research.
The research could be done, costs €50.00. Not to be paid when the fault was with the bank.

I got a final decision about the result weeks after I received the money back. I never paid for the investigation. Meaning, it was their fault. And their fault did cost me a lot of money. As I could not buy and sell what I wanted to buy/sell.

Yesterday I transferred an amount to my Revolut account. ALL other banks transfer immediately to Revolut. It takes a short time to a few hours to receive it. Well, of course, this bank doesn't. At this moment, more than 12 hours later the transfer is still pending with MeDirect. Why?!

We live in an era where transfers from bank to bank take only a split second. A normal bank doesn't keep transfers pending for hours (and I guess days as we are Saturday now). There was enough money on the account to send and approve. Yet, the bank didn't.
Horrible. Another transaction where I cannot buy/sell due to them.
