The website customer service doesn't give you an estimated shipping time that is true.
The website says that the order can arrive in over 2 months, but it's been over 5 months since I ordered vinyl and after all 5 months I didn't receive any update about the shipment process!
I ordered also a vinyl from Spotify store of the same band (Covet) that was on pre-order and promised to start the shipment in July, and they did send an update.
It's like Merchbar doesn't want your money. Stay away at all costs!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MERCHBAR. I have yet to receive 1 singular vinyl record that was placed 11/9/23. I have sent over a dozen emails to be told the same thing: "we are experiencing delays at our supplier warehouses"
They are a fraudulent company that will keep pushing products, taking money, and refusing to send you your items.
Do not buy from this company. They will never ship your items. You can get a refund but no explanation as to why they never ship your purchases even months later. Complete garbage site.
I ordered two albums as a gift, different from each other, and they sent two of the same. When I contacted them to discuss recourse they said it was my system. The only offer to remedy was I ask the person who received the gift to mail them back on their dime. Not worth the risk or hassle, there are better options to shop than Merchbar. Oh, they still have not arrived to the person I was gifting either.
I ordered a record on January 2023 which was mentioned in stock. I sent email every month to have news. Always the same answer: your item is in backorder. Finally decided to cancel this week after a 10 months waiting. Obtained refund today. Conclusion: I will never came back
It's been a month since I placed my order on Merchbar. I contacted their support and received information:
"Sorry for the delay in shipping your order for the Nickelback Get Rollin' Exclusive Blue & White Galaxy vinyl. We've encountered some fulfillment issues and are unable to provide an estimated ship date, but we're already working closely with our supply partner to get your order out as soon as possible. Rest assured that you'll receive another email as soon as it ships." 2 next weeks passed, I haven't received any updates or the vinyl itself. I requested to cancel my order and return my money, I hope they will do it. I don't know what they count for...? It really feels like a possible scam, such a waste of time, I will never order anything from their page.
First time I bought from Merchbar in May 2023, I had minimal problems and was happy with my merchandise. Ordered again Labor Day weekend. Customer support confirmed two weeks ago that all of the items I ordered are in stock, but it's been nearly two months and they haven't shipped. Seeing comments on their social media and talking to friends, I'm not alone in this predicament. Don't order from them.
I should have read the reviews first and saved myself a huge headache. Placed a hefty vinyl order a month ago (all in stock except for 2) and surprise! I get the same runaround rote responses about warehouses and locating stock and "just keep waiting for an update" B.S. Will be canceling for a refund... just hope that isn't a nightmare, too. I'm completely baffled by how this company makes money operating so piss poorly!
Bought 6 records in July 2023. It's now about to be 2024 and I haven't received anything. They say they're in stock but they aren't. They don't issue a refund or tell you anything unless you actually contact them.
I'll give them credit that they did contact me back each time. But probably the worst merch site I've ever used.
I ordered $225 worth of vinyl over a month ago. The tracking is awful and gives you no indication when it will ship. You can email and they'll write back, but it only says something unhelpful like "rest assured, you'll get an email as soon as it ships." So you have no idea when you'll get it. On and on it goes until you try to cancel, then they say you cannot cancel since their third party is getting ready to ship it. It's sad because I think we're all looking for alternatives to Amazon and overpriced brick-and-mortar sellers, but Merchbar is not the place.
I read through the negative reviews here and they're all spot on. I will not be shopping here again.
Its been over 50 days since I ordered two vinyl records from Merchbar on 7/5/2023. Each time I've reached out they hide behind fulfillment issues with their partners. BUT - each time I refer to their website (see snapshot attached), the albums I have ordered are listed as "In Stock." Merchbar sells lies and apathy, and couldn't care less about actually delivering the merchandise it sells. Look at all the reviews online and you'll see stories like mine are commonplace.
If I could give 0 stars I would! Ordered a sweatshirt (listed as in stock on the site) 3 months ago which never arrived. I contacted customer support (they only email), and while they were good about responding, their responses said nothing. They blamed shipping and fulfillment issues, so I thought okay, maybe the first got lost and I'll order another (didn't immediately ask for a refund to try to 'ensure' I at least received one). Same thing happened with the second. So then I ordered the same shirt from another site, Rounder Records, with the same issues. I contacted Rounder Records and sure enough, they use Merchbar to fulfill their orders. They are frauds.
I ordered three vinyl albums, received one. Items on 'backorder' never came in, and they never contacted me about any problems or with updates. After complaining by email I received many polite emails that told me conflicting information, promised me nothing, and were a waste of my time. They finally issued a refund to me 8 months after my order was placed. I would not order from them ever again.
Ordered 3 vinyls that were in stock and were to be shipped in 3-5 business days according to my receipt, after one week I contacted customer support because my order was still stuck on processing and all they gave me was the cookie cutter "shipper just allocated stock" response and said my order would be shipped soon, another week passes and the order is still processing, I ended up canceling the order and placing it on another site and with no surprise the new order shipped in 2 days
They take your money and dont deliver any product. Their customer service will answer, but will not offer any help and will just make you angrier. They will string you along until your purchase goes through. Do not trust this company. They do not actually have any merchandise, they purchase after you purchase and forward your info to other companies.
Ordered 24th April 2024, it's now 27th Sep 2024. Had 4 emails replies saying supplier issue, yet the items are always listed as "in stock" & on constant sales. If the supply issues go back at least 5 months, imagine how long the people ordering after me still have left to wait... & Oh yes, the items STILL have "supply issues", but yes, they're also still in stock & on sale...
***Update*** Requested refund in October, it's a 10 day process. It's now end of Jan 2025 & I'm still waiting...
In general terms, merchandise was ordered and delivered.
The material used in the end-product was flimsy and not what was expected.
Initial complaint was answered very quickly, however the stall-game was on.
While the Customer bears some responsibility, their lack of any middle-ground solution was both disappointing and disconcerting. Quite the combo-platter of mediocre Customer Service.
I ordered some metalcore hoodies for my husband's birthday and they never came. I called their answering service, it was useless, and submitted a half dozen customer service tickets, but they never got back to me about what happened to my order. The products never came, according to the "track your package" link on the original order email, they were never even shipped. I can't get a refund because there are no actual customer service reps from the company who can even look up details about my order. It's like they're a ghost company. I would be shocked if anyone actually ever received an order from them. Total f*cking scam.
I ordered two vinyl albums on 10/06/23 and the status as of 10/20/23 was "in process". I emailed for an update and all they could tell me was that they were having trouble with their shipping and had no idea when these records would actually ship. Say what?! They had my $ and these records were in stock, so why the delay!. Sad, they were my go to store for vinyl but I've dropped them, there are others out there just as good. Btw, they sent me an email that a vinyl record I've been looking for has been released by the label so I ordered the record. On 10/28/22! The status is "open backorder" and they are clueless as to when it will be available. Then what di you send me an email that it was available?! Boooooo...
