Customer service is a total joke. No help at all. Systems are always down as I'm told. Very frustrating when you need any matter dealt with. All I can do is take any money off this card and put it into a real bank like Navy federal. I'd I could rate this card 0 stars I would.
Omg this prepaid card makes me want to rip my hair out my scalp! The customer service reps are just as worst! They can't help you with a god damn thing! They're paid to just tell you they can't do $#*!! Theirs at least a 2 day delay getting your Edd deposit from when they send it! God forbid you try to order door dash, they place a 20% mandatory charge for all fast food places, restaurants and takeout for a "tip" that takes 5 days to get released! The app never works! The website never works! Apple Pay and tap to pay never work! You can't transfer money from this trash card to cash app or Venmo or even Apple Cash! Refunds take forever to be placed back on your card, good luck trying to get your money out of the atm! Most atms give you a maximum of 500 to pull out! Only way to get your money out is initiate a transfer that will take days to transfer into your bank and that's if you get the website to load or go inside a branch and do a cash advance and get charged a fee! This stupid prepaid card holds your money hostage! Disputes are a joke! I can't believe Edd forces us to use this junk! Honestly I would say ditch the card and switch to paper check! It might be a couple more days longer to get your money, but oh so worth it then dealing with this joke of a bank!
My card was stolen before I received it and the thief spent almost $2,800. The claims department refuses to investigate it and denied my claim twice only 2-3 days after filling them. I will be involving law enforcement before filling an appeal since Money Network has been less than useless.
Money Network is the worst! The phone app doesn't work. The buttons in the website don't work. Spent half a day on a phone trying to get them help me just for them to pass me on to someone else few times, then being on hold for an hour and eventually to hang up on me. Horrible service! Why did EDD ever change to this lousy service is beyond me.
They are the worst. I waited an hour and a 1/2 and still nobody answered on customer service. The lady who talked to at first all she does is transfer calls. She is not gonna help you. I try to cash my EdD check. I had to have a bank my bank. Put a hold on it because you can't get a hold of nobody in the gate, even my own got the around. Shady shameful

I received a MN debit card for the California Middle Class Rebate. Made numerous attempts to use it, didn't work. Then spent a couple of hours on the phone to get a check instead. When I deposited, it bounced as it requires a code. I then tried cashing it at Walmart, who rejected it because it was now listed "For Deposit Only." I've now been waiting on hold for over an hour to get a replacement check. Overall, it has taken over a dozen hours and I still haven't got my money.
I tried to get a charge back for unauthorized purchase of 41.00. The form i needed to return with in 10 days, finally arrived on day 9. Money network is a joke. Letters are sent with phone # & extensions that don't exist, customer care has no 'options' if they can't answer a question you'll be put on hold for the rest of the day...there's not many questions they actually have an answer to. Every aspect of how this office handles customer questions,or complaints is so unprofessional. Never again with this company. So I never got my money back, there is no dispute dept. ( oh, they're in the 'back room')one of the customer service girls said!

They stole over 64 dollars from me. I pre paid 50 in gas, the card took the 50 for pre pay plus somehow another 29 on top of it for some reason, putting me into the negative. My car only took 15 dollars worth of gas. The gas station put the rest of the money back on their end but on money networks end they only see a dollar authorization charge and if they did the math on every transaction they would realize I should be in the positive. Avoid this card at all cost. They will take your money " lose" it and no one will help you.
I got a Money Network card from California for Middle class refund. Logged on to money network website but despite spending 30 minutes, could not transfer funds to my bank account.
I withdrew $300 from ATM but later on, after a few days, my balance showed as if I had withdrawn $400.
My logon to their website no longer works. Horrible company.
Money Network is one of the worst card companies I've ever experienced dealing with. The app doesn't work about half the time, their website works only a bit more than the app, and nobody I spoke to in customer service could help me access my pay. Money Network could not get my payroll card attached to my name so that I could access my hard earned pay. Interacting with incompetent uneducated employees and managers is a terrible desolate feeling.
Money Network is part of the reason why I quit that job. It's extra stress I don't need.
I have now spent a total of 65 minutes on the phone with the customer "service" representatives for Money Network and cannot even come up with an appropriate word for the lack of consideration or concern with the issue I presented to them. The trained monotone voices with zero interest in the client are beyond unacceptable. Perhaps if someone had systematically and fraudulently stolen their money they would have a slightly different approach.
I been trying for a week to get on the website to get my transactions. The site has been not working and when u try so many times you have to wait until 24 hours to get back and it's still $#*!ed up I'm fed up with this company.im goo to another card company today to many problems.😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
I had an account on hold for several days due to a transaction that was declined. Upon calling ive had representatives whom are unaware of their own procedures continue to change the their guidelines as time goes on. Do not deal with these $#*!s unless its absolutely necessary.
They locked my account with no warning email or anything a month later I'm still trying to get it back and now there saying my account never existed so they basically just stole 500$ from me horrible company do not recommend
My card was successfully activated and pin accepted. I went to few stores and the payment for groceries was denied at each one. I called customer service. Two times the robot told me the wait was too long and to try again later. One time I ended up in a queue for 57 minutes and nobody answered. How can a State agency like California Franchise Tax Board, which deals with money matters every day, be so clueless and appoint something like Money Network to administer all this money? And why place this money at an East Coast bank, while we all live on the West Coast? Unless, of course, they don't want us to access the money they supposedly gave us? The whole thing is so dumb, they should be ashamed, whoever made those decisions. I want to know who's decision was it!
They don't answer their phones, the "customer service" drones transfer you right back to the original line…that hangs up on you!
I'm going to assume I will never receive the CA middle class tax refund, especially if this scam of a company is in charge.
I misplaced my card. Called for a new one around March 20. Waited the requisite ten business days and called back April 5. Called back today, May 1. They say they mailed it to the address on file, which was correct. Now they are waiving the Priority Mail fee so I'll have it in 2 or 3 days. They are acting like it's a courtesy. Really? I've been waiting for six weeks, and they are going to ship a new one without charging me extra. Well, bless their pea-picking hearts. Also, customer service rep was polite, but you have to jump through multiple hoops to teach a rep.
It's a shame the state of California decided to use this company to pay out stimulus payments. The 1800 customer service number is an absolute joke. The reps can't speak English, are extremely rude and have no clue what they are doing
