“Replacement Warranty Sucks! RMA: 991280122”

I placed a replacement order back in August of 2023 for a BT-205 headset. They sent me the replacement order. However, right off the bat, I had problems with the product. I would charge the headset, then 3 hours later after use. It would tell me I needed to charge it again. This continued for a months. Now, it's December of 2023 and the problem has continued and gotten worst. It's now telling me after 1.5 hours that the headset needs to be charged. I said ok, let me call Monoprice to see if they will send me a replacement since I'm having such issue. I called and the customer agent tells me that the replacement only covers from the original date of purchase. It does not cover from when you got the replacement. Say what now? I've never heard anything so ludicrous in my life. Then she offers me 10% towards another headset but does not give me the coupon code nor did she email it to me. Go figure!

I have been very happy with most of my purchases from Monoprice. Prices vary constantly, which is a bit annoying. But my biggest concern was with a product that I just can't get to work. I posted a review of what I have tried and what my symptoms are. It was on their site, and I assumed it would be helpful to other people. They took it down! How can I trust their reviews if they took mine down. How many negative reviews do they take down? Mine was fair, detailed, and didn't say that the product was bad, just inadequate for my environment. I am puzzled, and disappointed.

You won't find a better deal on cables. Yes, you will find cheaper prices here and there, but not by much. But with monoprice you know you will be getting a quality cable. The attention to detail is even noticeable in packaging. Connectors are carefully wrapped. Cables are wrapped in a circled and not end to end in most cases.
I've also got cord wraps from them and they were nice.
I also was happy with my TV mount. Not Thrilled, but happy for sure. The packaging on that was a bit weaker than some of their other products, but you actually couldn't beat the price for such a long arm. It is very stable, and is holding a pretty heavy older 42" panasonic plasma. Not one of these uber-thin newer displays.

Monoprice = low price + quality cables and mounts

The Minnie mouse I ordered was received broken. Could have been damaged in transit. Contacted the company and within 24 hours a replacement was on the way. The replacement work perfectly. Because if they have great customer service I would highly recommend Monoprice.

I have never failed to by satisfied with Monoprice. The comfort level of being able to rely on the products that are offered when one can not physically inspect them is tremendous. My most recent purchase was a Strata Sous vide device with no knowledge of the device or the process, and it has been a complete success. I have often referred friends and family to Monoprice.

I feel like I have been scammed by Monoprice. Wrote support in Sept. 2017 about a warranty on a cable and they said someone will be in contact with me soon. Not a peep in 3 weeks so I write back in Oct. 2017. Still nothing and today is 11/19/17. I even wrote to their Facebook page with no result. Sure does seem like a scam to sell faulty products and not stand by the warranty if you ask me! Stay far away from Monoprice!

I purchased two lights from monoprice. Within the first year both lights LED light burned out, I got a replacement and then the new lights are now acting up again the same way. I called customer service and they said so sorry we cant do anything about it your warranty only goes on the first item not the replacement item if you want to we can give you a discount to purchase that item again. I do not want to purchase the same light if it breaks on me again within the first year of me having it. This will be the last time I buy from this company that does not care about its customers!

Tip for consumers:
Do not purchase from this site....they have horrible customer service!

I Love this over fireplace dropdown tv mount. The tensioner adjustment is a little confusing as to what direction to turn. But overall I give it a 5 star rating for the facts that i can watch tv while laying on my sofa in the over fireplace position ( or when the grandchildren are here in town) or eye level while sitting in an upright position.
I've highly recommended this to family members with the hopes that they will not hit me up to install it for them!

I have bought several cables from MP. A few of them got bad after months of use. The process of replacement is what you would expect as standard. RMA first then they replace. A few times I had to wait for the replacement product when they are not in stock. Overall a very good experience. Would shop again.

The prices of the products are very mono as the name suggetss. If you want to save some extra cash the it is a good option for you. For an online shop they really respond fast. I managed to place my order in a very short while. The delivery tie was not that pleasing though.

I recently purchase a TV mount from Monoprice and during the installation process found a manufacturing defect which did not permit the mount to level out the TV properly. Dreading the typical service call that I needed to make to get a refund or replacement, I was actually extremely pleasantly surprised at how quickly the issue was resolved. I sent a couple of photos of the problem an was immediately issued a return merchandise authorization, sent a FedEX shipping label, and instructed to return the defective merchandise for replacement. Quick and easy. I am still waiting for the replacement, but have received emails indicating it has been shipped out. Overall, a pleasant and painless experience. Always great merchandise at a reasonable price.

I've ordered several items from them and when the items work then they are great. When the products are defective then their poor customer service becomes evident. I've sent them a number of emails about defective products with no replies. Ultimately had to call them and even that was a challenge to get them to send a replacement. They used to have a real cost and customer service advantage but not anymore.

I have used Monoprice for about 14-15 years now. And ever since day one they have amazing prices. Even today as prices of products rise. Out of all the years, I have return/exchanged only 6 items. And when I needed these items replaced, it was never an issue, I spoke to support and they replaced the item. All they did was ask what is wrong with it and replaced it. No canned responses or anything, they just talked to me like a human. Over the years the one thing I know I can count on is product quality. And if I do not like it all I have to do is tell them and they will fix it. I think anyone needing something for a great price and amazing quality will enjoy MP. They stand behind their products and customers, whether you buy one item or 1000, you are treated the same. Amazing prices and quality.

Tip for consumers:
Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Please do yourself a favor and do not buy anything from here. I bought a pc monitor for 32" monitors. Paid for shipping, it got here and I built it then it didn't end up fitting my 3 32" monitors. I went to customer support and they said that I can return it for a refund but I have to pay for shipping back. I told them that's crazy! It's there product that says fits 32" and not only I wasted time but I paid for shipping to here and now shipping back because your guys product! And he said ok for a one time consideration. I will add the return fee to the return. Oh yay so I just wasted 20-30$ for shipping.

I got a Monoprice drawing tablet for my birthday and was super excited. I loved it for a while but it had spotty connections. I didn't even use it that often and it was awful when I started using it again. Then It just stopped working all together. It was with in the warranty time but they more or less told me i was out of luck. When I emailed back they just never replied. Oh on top of it all i went through 4 cords for it.

I recommend this printer a perfect first time printer for the hobbyist, it need less messing with then most of the other printers for 100 of dollars more, and the Monoprice support is quick and helpful, had a printer that had problems and they quickly sent me another one so yes if you want to get into 3d printing Monoprice voxel is a great choose

Last time I order from them forever! Their website somehow selected an old address on my last order even though I manually typed in my correct address. There was no way to cancel the order or correct the address. I put in 2 service tickets which were ignored. Of course, order was 'delivered' to the wrong address and they are refusing to take any action to assist with this issue. NEVER AGAIN! I have no confidence I will actually receive what I order.

I've been buying from Monoprice for more than a dozen years. They have expanded their product range exponentially in that time. I can't vouch for every category, but I can say they have always stood behind what I've purchased. A few exchanges and replacements for the odd DOA widget over the years and they have been generous every time. We both know quality issues are going to pop up and we have always worked it out to my satisfaction. You can buy with confidence from Monoprice.

I had an issue with a sit-stand desk and their representative did fabulous job of making the situation right again. There was a cosmetic defect and the representative gave a slight discount on the sale price which makes me happy and was plenty fair as far as I am concerned.

Monoprice is a great website to purchase cables and home theatre equipment. They have a great customer service and are quick to respond on the phone. Odd they are not open on a Saturday or Sunday, but not a big deal at all, just means that orders on weekends don't ship till Monday and their customer service is closed. They use to be my go to store for any of my cable and Home Theatre needs a their prices and quality was really unbeatable. I never had a bad cable from them no matter how long the cable was. So why not 5 stars? Simply because of their shipping changes. They use to offer overnight shipping for free when you purchased a certain amount, because that is no longer available the prices aren't as great of deal as Amazon sells their stuff and as a prime member I get faster shipping for free. Which would be only Half a star loss but that is not an option on this site.

Based on the false description of a product on Monoprice.com web site, I have ordered some other unnecessary items. As advised by them, I returned them later, but received only a partial refund.

Since then, I tried to contact Monoprice Customer Service and Refund departments several times, asking for explanation, but with no luck. They stopped replying to my messages.

I tried to leave a comment/review on their web site, but they never published it.

I purchased these and some other items at Monoprice.com for a school, spent hundreds of dollars.

BTW, they still did not correct the wrong description of the item.

Monoprice.com seems to be an untrusted seller with poor Customer Service. Beware!

I have been a devoted buyer of Monoprice products for years (the Button Design Noise Isolating Earbuds Headphones are the gold standard). I urge everyone I know to consider Monoprice products. Everything they sell is top-notch, high quality, and the prices cannot be beat.

I ordered 5 lightning cables from Monoprice 8 days ago and still have not received the small package! Monoprice charges customers for shipping, so I believed that the item would come to me within 5 business days since I ordered them on Saturday at 5 AM in the morning. Even USPS states that first class packages will be delivered within 3 days. The fact that it is now 8 days later and there's still no package lets me know that they are overcharging customers for first class shipping, when Monoprice is using 3rd class bulk mail rates. I will not use Monoprice again after this ridiculous delay. Amazon, Newegg and Walmart all deliver within 3 to 5 business days. Monoprice is saying that it takes 6 business days which is ridiculous given the fact that they charged me for shipping.

We really did not know what to expect. We did not want to mount our TV over the fireplace and always be looking up when we stumbled upon this mount. This mount is amazing. We can angle and swivel it when it in the up or pull down position. When in the pull down position it is a little far from the wall so the ability to push it in closer would be nice but all in all it is an amazing mount. We have a 75" 80 pound and this mount is solid. Glad we did not go with the higher priced mount. There is no way it could have been any more sturdy.

My initial order with Monoprice was for 5 RCA cables. I received my order on time but only received three cables. I sent an email requesting help in receiving the missing items. There customer service responded without question and sent out the two cables I was missing. There customer service followed up with supporting emails assuring replacement was received at my door. Superior customer service, how refreshing!
