I was concerned about ordering from this dealer after seeing the negative reviews. But I am so glad I did. Shipping was a little slower than desired. (Fedex is crappy). But the products were received as ordered, sizing was spot on, and were of good quality. I ordered multiple clothing items from overalls, pants and tops. My daughter-in-law also placed an order... Same- very good experience. No complaints here.
After years of buying from this company they showed their true colors when I ordered myself the 12th identical bra and bra size I've always gotten and it came 2" smaller and they wouldn't refund me or make it right in any way. I won't be buying another thing from this company. I'll miss my old bra because it's the only one I ever used.
This is my third pregnancy so not my first time shopping here but it is now my worst shopping experience I have ever had. I ordered a pretty large order and said it was shipped out but never showed up so called fedex who shipped it and they said they had the package but motherhood maternity did something wrong so they can not ship it to me so called them and they said they can't do anything about it and made me wait 25 days to see if it would show up even tho FedEx said it will not. Then 25 days are up and they said they will reship, well guess what they lost that package before it even got.sent out of their facility. So call again and they say if sorry we will ship it again now we're way over a month since I ordered and they took my money. But guess what now there out of most of the stuff I ordered so they could only fill half my order and then give me a gift certificate for the rest like they think I would ever shop with them again I had to fight to get my money back on something that was their fault twice now. And now I finally received part of my order 40 days from order but it was messed up and not the right stuff and they expect me to ship it back to them so they could have their mistakes back or there going to charge me more they said they are unbelievable and terrible customer service I couldn't get one manager or head person to talk to me on the phone save yourself the hassle and buy from anywhere else plus their clothes arnt worth the money.
Products used:
A shirt and tank tops is it they lost everything else twice !!
I've walked past this store so many times before I got pregnant and it seemed like they had the cutest stuff! When I became pregnant (currently still am) I went there to look for maternity clothes for the first time. To my surprise, this place seems to think aal pregnant women are size 0's. The ENTIRE store is full of adorable clothes that I would spend money on but only a TINY rack for plus size. There are no choices. Not even on the site. It's ridiculous. You're a maternity shop and don't even consider that most of your customers might be a little bigger than what you offer? I couldn't believe it. When I asked one of the employees why they don't have a bigger selection, she stated that they used to have less. They literally added two more shelves for pants that aren't even cute. It blows my mind that there is an entire store full of clothes that can't be worn by anyone over a size 10. I wouldn't be so upset if I had more maternity shop in my area but there are none. This and Target (sad when a place that isn't made for maternity sells better clothes and a variety of sizes than an actual maternity shop)
Bathing suit falling apart after wearing it a few times only. It is completely losing its shape and becoming transparent.
I ordered 2 bras, one being on sale. I then received an email 5 days later saying that one of the bras was cancelled from my order with no explanation. I sent an email to their customer service, no response after 7 days. I called, waited on hold for a while and then finally someone picked up. I asked why my item was cancelled and explained that the same item was still available on their website to be ordered, said I wanted to order it but didn't want to pay another $5 for shipping since it should have been sent the first time. They said it was cancelled bc maybe it wasn't in inventory, and they hadn't updated the inventory on the site yet. I ordered this 3 weeks ago and their online inventory is THAT SLOW TO UPDATE? She then said I could place the order again, then call back, then they could refund my shipping, but the order would probably be cancelled bc it's probably out of stock. I told the girl never mind, that this process was ridiculous, that I emailed a week ago with no response, and I shouldn't have to go through this all over again bc they can't update their online inventory in a timely fashion. I said I was going to shop somewhere else, and she responded in a VERY SNOTTY WAY "OKAY BYE!". What a horrible company.
I couldn't cancel my order 5 mins after placing it because they "use an automated system". Now have to pay for shipping and return shipping, thanks.
I went to the Columbia mall store last night and the the lady who was closing was very rude. She didn't feel like helping when i asked her.
Items purchased were sent to the wrong address. I did not received the items but was charged. Was told that was the policy
This company is so blatantly not customer friendly, to the extent that they don't even pretend to be. I made an online purchase via their A Pea in the Pod brand's website, and I noticed a few days later that many of the items in my order were subsequently on sale. Thus I went to the "contact us" section of their website in efforts to find a phone number, and only found an online contact submission form. So, I filled it out requesting a price adjustment, submitted it and waited to hear back. A week or so later I hadn't heard anything back, but I was able to find a customer service phone number in my order shipping confirmation email I'd since gotten, so I called to inquire. At that point, they told me they had no record of me contacting them via their website and that I should have called or sent them an email from my email account so as to have a record of said contact, as they only honor price adjustments requests made within 7 days of ordering... Yep, that's a company that really wants to do right by the customer and earn my repeat business, clearly.
Additionally, one of the items from my order was a bit big at the time of purchase, but I decided to hang on to it for when I was farther along in my pregnancy assuming it would fit later. After two months, I decided it still wasn't going to fit even late in my pregnancy so called about a return, even if just for store credit. The item was $100, so I obviously didn't want that money to just go to waste, but I would have been happy to use the funds for some nursing bras or other items I'll end up needing anyway. So, I again called into their customer support team, only to be told they only offer 30 days for returns, even for store credit. Adding insult to injury, the agent noted they had been offering extensions for returns given Covid, but would no longer be doing so. Again, the response of a company that really wants to foster repeat customers.
Needless to say, I will never shop with them again. They more than deserve the bankruptcy situation they are in. Spend your dollars elsewhere.
I had ordered some nursing bras from them after my first child was born, two years ago, and really liked them. Recently after my second child was born I ordered more of the same bras in the same size and they don't fit the same. I noticed that the fabric content has changed. They just aren't the same. The new ones are stretchier and they are too big.
I contacted them that I wasn't happy with the new bras and was told that I had to prove it. I needed to send a picture proving that the bras weren't what was promised online. I asked how I can send a picture of an elastic bra showing that it's different than before and they just said that I have to prove it. LOL. Prove that I don't like them? How about, if I liked them I would keep just keep them?
So, the ones that I haven't washed, that still have the original tags on they will let me return (I pay for shipping back), within the 30 day return window. How courteous of them. The few that I washed I will just have to 'eat it'.
They tell me I received them on Feb 5, so I have until March 5 to send them back. 30 days.
Only, that's not 30 days. There are 28 days in February, so the return window should be March 7.
They told me that they would grant me a "one time exception to the rule in this case only".
They are doing me a favor by actually allowing me the full 30 days (THEIR OWN RETURN POLICY, IN WRITING ON THEIR WEBSITE). But I still have to pay to ship them back because I couldn't prove anything was wrong with the fit with pictures. Seriously, WTF. This company has the worst customer service I have ever come across.
ALSO, I left a one star review on the their website that the bras ran large. And they deleted it. So, wonder why the bras have 4.9 stars in the reviews... they delete all reviews that are less than 4 stars.
Their clothes are cheap. Fabric sucks. I recommend you stay away!
