On June 3 my rear axle started grinding, so I called and spoke to a gentleman named Charlie. He assured me that it would be taken care of. I followed his instructions to the letter. I even sent him a video of the axle, making the noise but after 4 or 5 phone calls and emails he stopped responding to my attempts to get a hold of him. I tried other departments, but no answer. It is now July 28 and still no answer or axle. My scooter is my primary transportation to and from my stage 4 cancer appointments and the grocery store. There are times when I must ride with the axle still grinding but I know one of these days it's just going to give out and leave me stranded, even though Charlie said it would be OK to ride. I wish someone would respond to my emails and texts but it looks like on my head against the wall. I only had 8 km on my scooter when the axle started grinding. Don't expect much if you have a warranty issue. Issue resolved after calling the distributor and finding out that my axle was still sitting waiting for a shipping label from Motobuys. It turned out that guy that was handling my claim just up and quit with no notice after locking up the computers. So I wish to withdraw my complaint since it wasn't Motobuys fault that the guy chose to sabotage the computer system.
Had a minor issue with the delivery of Ice Bear scooter, but MotoBuys' customer support resolved it quickly. The scooter itself is fantastic and offers great value for the price.
Customer service is important, these guys get it. They took the time to verify that my atv choice was indeed CA legal, it was. After verification they shipped the atv out immediately. Love the decals for the "red" color choice by the way. They look great! Thanks guys, would definitely recommend!

Needs assembly, fill battery and charge, oil change, change fuel line to ethanol rated line (USA), remove spark plug to double check gap and turn engine over with plug removed to get rid of excess shipping oil, etc. watch videos about maintenance and upgrades.

Bought a 110 dirt bike from them with a title never received the title after about a month I called four times and left a message with my number each time and the order number and email them two times and never got a response within a 2-month period this is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life and they've already got paid for everything

I purchased a simple pit bike. I was immediately displeased with the power of the unit. It has trouble with hills. If you are on a smooth straight road and you open it it, the engine backfires and the few times I did go full throttle. It would backfire and one time is stranded me 1/2 mile from my home. So disappointed...

We bought a comrade for Motobuys and it's sat in my garage since the day it arrived (arrived broken matter of fact). Requested to send it back immediately. Was told they would set it up to return. Never did. Then said it would cost us $1800 to return. Requested the parts to fix it. Took literally 2&1/2 months to get parts, which ended up being the wrong parts! So now 6 months later we still have a broken $7000 garage ornament.
Terrible company. Received a damaged unit 4 hours later than the shipping window. Then they have every excuse in the book as to why they won't take back the unit. The unit has multiple issues and every time they come up with an excuse why there is nothing wrong. Then they insist I hire a mechanic to fix it when it is supposedly brand new. Terrible experience - keep away from this company.
Ordered a Ice Bear PBZ 125 on 4/14/23 received it 4/24/23 and the paperwork followed 5/1/23. The process was exactly as they explained when I initially purchased it. The motorcycle was dropped in my driveway in the morning and I was test riding it four hours later. I have nothing but positive to say about the process of buying from Motobuys.

On December 12th I purchased two ATV's from this company. Bill is a great salesman, eager to make the sale and take the money. They guaranteed my delivery by 12/16,12/17 at the latest as we were heading out on a trip and needed the vehicles. They never arrived. One of Bill's colleagues stated "We get around 8 out of every 1000 orders messed up and unfortunately yours was one of them." They promised a full refund. A few days later, email from Bill, no refund. You made a purchase, read our terms and conditions. They never sent any terms and conditions, just a receipt. After several emails back and forth with this incredibly rude man, i decided to just leave it until my American Express statement came in. Fortunately, they have removed the charge.
I would advise that you do not buy form this company unless you are desperate. There are many other online retailers who provide a similar service.
Motobuys also trades as other companies. Just be careful before you part with your money.
We purchased a "new" 800cc dune buggy from Motobuys. The date of purchase was 10/2016. The date of manufacture on the "new" machine was 6/2008. Nearly 9 years old. The injectors were frozen, the fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator as well. The fans were missing in entirety. They have offered us 1000 usd to keep the machine. We have said no. I was called and a$$hole by Bill and told "f$&k you" when I informed him that they needed to pick up the vehicle or pay me storage. American Express is involved, so hopefully we will get our money back. PUT this unethical dishonest company out of business. Zero rating
I recently gave Motobuys a bad review because of no response to phone or emails. Well before I could cancel the order, they emailed and told me the package is on its way 2hrs latter it was here. Well packaged putting it together now. Will update.

Update: received a voicemail message however my unit has not been repaired or replaced nor have I received a call back again. I purchased the extended warranty to avoid issues beyond the 3 month warranty all to no avail. Avoid this company.
- Purchased a kids dirt bike and extended warranty in Feb 2023 RPS60. Runs fine when running.
Have had 3 issues, missing parts after shipping, kick stand which broke when bike was parked, weld case loose cheaply done, and recently battery holder gave loose similar to kick stand poorly done. I can live with the poor quality of the bike but the customer service is the worse I have seen. For the initial two items took weeks to get someone to respond and then action. For the recent battery holder issue I have emailed 5/6 times and called with absolutely no response. DO NOT Buy anything from them that requires Customer Service.

I was very nervous about my purchase from Motobuys, after reading all the negative reviews. But they have done everything they promised on their website. Great 150cc scooter, great price, fast shipping, well packed, and efficient delivery. I'm not an employee of associated to Motobuys in any way, but I wanted to write this review, to give an honest perspective from a customer. After some basic assembly, battery, mirrors, storage box, I had a little issue with the scooter running for more than 3 seconds, but after checking the fuel lines, and finding a kink in the supply line, it runs perfectly. Super happy with my purchase.
I have had my Maddog 150 GenV scooter for about 5 mos now. MotoBuys did get better getting me the parts I needed and reasonably quick. You should be fairly knowledgeable on electrical and mechanical or have someone you know if you get one from any dealer in case you encounter issues like I had. Mine runs great after a few episodes of diagnostics and repairs. MotoBuys tech dept. will help. I get stopped everywhere I go the scooter looks so cool! It was really fun when I took it to Fla. To tool around on!

Received my order with over 30 extreme and unique cosmetic defects, cracks, bent items, broken items. Only offered touch up paint as a resolution. Bottom line when finally get Customer service to answer an email by threatening to refuse delivery, I'm told nothing affects the performance of the vehicle and although it's 2 years old, it's still a "new" vehicle with only cosmetic imperfections. Yeah, 30 of them and they're not just paint chips. My item came in a dented bent up crate with 4 inch bends in the crate. The guy who spoke with me literally laughed in my face like inwas a joke. Insulting and degrading. He should be fired on the spot and I should receive a 10% refund and replacement broken parts as the only fair resolution. Now on to BBB site to file my complaint

After numerous calls and serval months, MotoBuys has failed to deliver all my parts on a brand new 400 UTV. Something so simple as floor mats. Its disappointing when you spend that much money for something and they ignore their mistakes. It's right there in plain English ( reviews) which I chose to ignore Bad service after they get your money!
Should be zero stars. The part I had to assumable came with defective parts and driving my new moped for only 15 miles the head light and turn signs went out. Rear fender came so bent it rubs on the tire. Did they help me with my problems? No, they ignore my calls and emails. Won't even talk to me about a refund or replacing the messed up parts they sent me. Don't not buy from them. At this point I'd trust a crackhead on Craigslist then them.

The vehicle will be inspected once it has been received at our warehouse. Once inspected, we will email you a summary of our findings from the inspection. Pictures will be included in the Inspection Report.
If it is decided that the damage is minor (i. E., change of mind, damaged plastic parts, bad carburetor, damaged/broken gas tank, etc.), based off our mechanic’s inspection, you will be responsible for the 2-Way Shipping Fee and a 15% Restocking Fee.
If it is decided that the issue is due to a factory error/shipping damage, (i. E., bad engine, cut wires during shipping, broken frame, etc.), based off our mechanic’s inspection, then a full refund will be processed.

Purchased a 2 seater 125cc mini dune buggy from them, it arrived on time at the freight terminal and was packaged fairly decent. The problem was with customer service and follow through. You are on your own if you have any problems after the sale. The dashboard was cracked, the remote start was intermittent, and finally quit altogether. I called their "live" help line numerous times with no answer. I preceded to e-mail to explain the issues I was having, and they did respond a week later with a phone number of their service guy. I called him repeated times and left messages, he finally calls me back and I explained the issues, and his response was "what do you want me to do about it"? I said " I'm calling to find out what to do"? He said to " call him back later". I did, and was blocked. Stay away unless you plan on throwing your money into a unusable yard ornament. I'm sure the 5 stars are self reviews from them. Makes for a good read anyway!
My 2019 Odes Comrade 650 cc arrived with damage to the lower drivers side body on *******. Driver noted it. I called Bob at Motobuys thst same day and he told me to take pictures and send them to him, including a picture of the front bumper that I later saw to be installed crooked. I sent them. I called today and spoke to Chris and he said the request was never received. Chris was unapologetic and hung up. Dont deal with this company. They take you money and run!
I just want to take a moment at express how much I appreciate the folks with this company. I went to leave a review and was surprised to see the "mixed reports." I haven't had any trouble reaching them directly and for any questions I may have had they answered promptly and I felt confident in what they had to say. Very nice and professional, would recommend! I look forward to doing business in the future.
After letting them know I filed a fraud/non delivered product claim with American Express they finally agreed to refund my money. They originally told me they could not refund my purchase since it was already in transit to me and would arrive in a day or two. I told them simply I'd refuse to except it when it arrived and the carrier would return it to them... funny thing it never arrived. Stay clear of these guys.
Don't fall for the allure of the cheap prices. I purchased a UTV from them on 12/5 and was told it would ship in 24 - 48 hours. I called after three days to verify shipping since the status never changed on the confirmation they sent. They said is shipped via Yellow Freight and they would have the tracking number in 24 hours. I called back the next day to get the tracking number, they then told me it shipped via Road Runner and they were waiting for the tracking number. On the third day I called and they told me it was on Sun Valley Freight and they would call me right back with a tracking number. I'm still waiting. I finally filed a fraud charge with them through American Express to get my money back. If there were a zero star option, that is what they would get.
I purchase a Trailmaster Sorrento 150 cc Scooter this summer. It now has a total of 5 miles on it. It won't run and makes crazy squealing sounds when the wheels are turning.
It's junk. They have told me to remove and clean the carb to fix the loss of electronics. Have not made it to the second issue yet.
Unless someone can advise me otherwise, I believe my only option is to. Throw this thing in the dumpster.

I agree with Samuel review, they wont return emails, or calls... I don't do reviews, normally, however, this one push me over the edge... I had to call over & over until I finally got through and spoke with this very unprofessional person, Bob, who will not refund my order claiming it was fraud. What the heck? I paid with my own PayPal... LOL... I had to fight this jerk to get my own money back and released back to me. Wow what an ugly experience... Do NOT do business with this company. There are many other reputable companies out there... this company should not be in business and they don't deserve our money.

Bought a 125 cc gocart for my daughter last year, it showed up on time and once i assembled it, it fired right up. Only bad thing is one of the rims tore into 2 pieces. Cheesy welds.Other than that, i'm waiting on a new 150 cc right now.
I ordered my son the Lancer 250 sports bike (Street bike). For his high school graduation 5/29/2016, I received the bike in a timely manner. But on 8/24/2016 we took a day ride just him and me. On the ride I heard his bike making a noise at the back tire, the bolts that hold the sprocket to the hub had vibrated loose and broke the hub. The metal bolt keepers did not do there job, anyway I ordered replacement parts like a week or so later. I got a parts order # and everything after a few weeks I realized that I had not heard from the company so I tried calling them again and again and again. All I got was the automated system. This went on for week's, so I emailed them. And now it is 11/05/2016 and I get a return email from them finally. No parts but an email! They need to work on customer services I do believe!
