“Won't send me my axle which is under warranty”

On June 3 my rear axle started grinding, so I called and spoke to a gentleman named Charlie. He assured me that it would be taken care of. I followed his instructions to the letter. I even sent him a video of the axle, making the noise but after 4 or 5 phone calls and emails he stopped responding to my attempts to get a hold of him. I tried other departments, but no answer. It is now July 28 and still no answer or axle. My scooter is my primary transportation to and from my stage 4 cancer appointments and the grocery store. There are times when I must ride with the axle still grinding but I know one of these days it's just going to give out and leave me stranded, even though Charlie said it would be OK to ride. I wish someone would respond to my emails and texts but it looks like on my head against the wall. I only had 8 km on my scooter when the axle started grinding. Don't expect much if you have a warranty issue. Issue resolved after calling the distributor and finding out that my axle was still sitting waiting for a shipping label from Motobuys. It turned out that guy that was handling my claim just up and quit with no notice after locking up the computers. So I wish to withdraw my complaint since it wasn't Motobuys fault that the guy chose to sabotage the computer system.

It's my fault for not reading all the one star reviews. I was extremely excited about getting a Condor 150cc. I was completely disappointed. I ordered the bike completely assembled, paid extra for the assembly. It got to me very damaged. I have tried countless times to call and email customer service, and nobody exists in the company. I paid over $2000 for a bike that I can't even ride. I have to pay $500 extra for a local bike shop to fix it. Please please please please don't buy anything from this company. I sure will not ever buy anything from them again...

Motobuys was the only company I could find who offered an easy quick-ship policy on a Trailmaster go kart. The freight arrived as was planned and the parts were all there. We needed a mechanic to help us get it assembled and running and the carburetor needed to be cleaned out in order to get it to run fairly smooth. I purchased an upgraded carburetor, but have not yet put it on. We needed to google instructions online because there were no instructions included. I was able to get very limited technical help from the company. I would give them a higher rating if they would provide instructions and real help for assembly. I have also waited more than a month for the additional items that I purchased. I had to remind them a few times that I did not receive them. All in all, the product was a good value and our family had a great time using it.

I purchased a Benelli e-bike and once I paid for it everything was fine but when I went to call customer service you can never get a hold of nobody nobody ever gets back to you it's very very poor customer service buyer beware.

We are very DISsatisfied with our product from Motobuys.
The product was supposed to be for older kids and have more power, hence Big Boy Buggy name.
It wont even go uphill with a 60 lb kid in it.
The tires wont hold air and the battery wont hold a charge.
CHEAP JUNK from CHINA.
Pay more for American Made.
This crap is JUNK

Bought a ATV as a Christmas gift for my son ATV is not getting pull power in forward. Called and emailed and sent video in email at the end of December of what the ATV is doing still no email back very disappointed terrible company.

I bought a trail master 300 EFI UTV on July 26 Three weeks after I bought it, it stopped working I called and when I call I get leave a message and they will call back most of the time they do not call back. I need help to fix this machine. Where is the help to fix what they sell? I would never buy anything from them again

Ordered my son a jet moto dirt bike it wasn't delivered when it was supposed to be it hadn't even left the warehouse. And when we finally get it my son got to ride it and now we already have to fix it! Worst company ever

I ordered a Trailmaster MB200 and about a week later i got it. The bike runs great and i couldn't be more happy with the purchase. The staff helped me out with questions ahead of time and seemed to know their stuff about the product. Cant complain, good company

Where do I start? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service from Bob Johnson who states he is head boss. He totally didnt listen, did nothing but argue and is beyond rude when I ask for a refund update. To have a head manager yell and boarderline cuss at me only to then hang up on me is baffling. How do I get my money back? RUN. RUN. RUN.

Sent the wrong 150cc trike. They refused to exchange without charging $600 shipping and 15% return fee. Then the Throttle stuck on start up knocking the owner, a 83 yr old disabled veteran to ground. To make things worse, the kill switch and key switch didnt shut it down. I had to put my hand over the carb to kill the engine. Rear hub is loose, fuel gauge doesnt work. They refuse to call me back or answer my emails. Called for 3 weeks. Dozens of calls and emails. Zero response. Completely unexceptable. Motobuys, if you read this dont leave a generic response with your email address. I have been emailing for weeks. Look up the order # and call me back. Sp*******.

Was told would get windshield at cost, made numerous calls,and Emails. Never got back to me, so if I had problems with unit, guess warranty would not happen. Very poor customer service.

Carlos is the all around "boss". He pretended to contact the accounting department but never put us on hold. Argued that our card had not been charged when it clearly showed a charge.

I was really impressed with the service and ease that I found with talking to a LIVE representative at MotoBuys. I had ordered a non-California Legal emissions scooter by mistake and had already paid by PAY PAL on line.
When I called on Monday to review and cancel the order, Charlie helped me to find a similar bike with more horse power and was able to cancel and change my order with a small upgrade.
He even walked me through the different nuances of the available retro scooters they had available.
I ended up being able to order something I really wanted and have it delivered to my home in Fresno, CA.
Thank you guys for the good (personable) old fashioned service.

Sorry excuse for a company, ordered a 50cc dirt bike for my grandson. Received the bike but the back wheel was broken, the plastics were damaged, the front brake caliper was casted wrong so the alignment on the front brake disk was wrong (had to shim with washers). The company sent new plastics, no comment from them on the brake caliper, and they sent me a used front wheel instead of a rear one. Will not work due to the wrong taps for the rear brake disk and sprocket. Company will not respond to emails or phone messages. POS customer service!

Our son got this electric Trailmaster Blazer i200R, All Electric, 48 Volt max, Lithium Battery Pack Go Kart for Christmas. We love it! It is so quiet.

I purchased a mb200 Trailmaster it arrived in one week like they said the pull top cover was damaged in shipping so I called motobuys they shipped it right out to me the part that I needed and was very polite and fast I would recommend buying from them they were $200 cheaper than everyone else and made good on the part that was damaged in shipping

They sell products that they do not stand behind, and quote the "terms & conditions" as an excuse to ship products that are faulty. Apparently the "terms & conditions" require you to accept items that do not work. The company's response most often that you are responsible for the normal dealer assembly. However, my scooter was delivered in condition that went beyond the assembly described in the purchase agreement. It was delivered in dangerous condition - leaking gasoline. Also, my ignition switch was faulty which destroyed the battery. Assistance from customer service was not timely, which delayed my ability to ride the scooter within the warranty period (I had to wait for a new ignition switch to be delivered from the factory - I assume in China). Now all warranty issues are being denied because "it's past warranty." If you can't ride a scooter because it is inoperable, you will not find the other warranty defects! Be prepared to receive products that do not work and lose your warranty while you try to fix the problems. The company's response when I asked to return the item was, "it doesn't work that way." My response is that we no longer live in a world of "buyer beware", except at Motobuys. I took a chance because I thought the price was right and wondered how unscrupulous a company could be in today's retail environment. The answer is very. Don't throw your money away like I did. Their "F" rating on the Better Business Bureau is justified.

Don't return your ITEAM just because the outer card board is all TORN up. Scooter's are shipped from China there going to be pretty ruff looking. Most are secured to the pallet with steel frame? Take lots of photos while driver is still there. Have him not any obvious damage you'll get better response from the shipping agent than motobuys. DO NOT!
DO NOT RETURN USLESS ITS SEVERELY DAMAGED. You will be charged shipping BOTH WAYS AND RESTOCKING FREE. ( A $2000 purchase will cost $1000) to return it and that's if your lucky enough Not to be changed the full amount.
Also if you finance thru bread! You'll be paying months of payments before you even get it, GOOD LUCK

Called to simply find out about shipping since the information listed is so vague. Not only is the shipping information vague but they don't explain what you get for the extra $69 "expedited handling". We were ready to buy 4 of these today and of course with Christmas around the corner (like so many) we were curious as to how fast we could get the mini jeeps. Called customer service. The guy who answered the phone started with "Hello". Thought I called the wrong number. He was abrupt and continued to talk over me, ultimately telling me to go ahead and empty my cart. You are welcome to visit their Web page. Only information you will find about shipping simply states that after you make a purchase you'll get a tracking number once the unit has shipped. This guy could have simply explained how long it's taking for the units to get out or what you get when spending the extra $69 for exhibited handling. Instead he was argumentative and impossible to deal with. I asked him if he was at all concerned about bad reviews. He just laughed! Again told me to go ahead and empty my cart! I hung up and he proceeded to call back from a restricted number several times to harass me. There are a lot of companies out there selling these mini jeeps. Buyers beware of doing any business with this company. My experience with him on the phone suggested a guy without any business class working out of his garage rather than a professional working for a large company. Very disconcerning they would allow such behavior.

Buy from a different company!

This is my first review I have ever wrote, but I feel compelled to do so... I bought a 150 Trail master UTV in March 2015. You need to realize this is an internet company, so you can't just run down to the local bike shop and get parts or service. The shipment is large so you must have a way to get it unloaded, there was no installation instructions so you need to have general mechanical skills... once together it would not start, so again need to have mechanical skills. I made multiple contacts with the company, the service tech helped talk me through what was the problem (idle jet in carburetor was obstructed); ultimately they sent me a replacement carburetor (and the missing bolts from original shipment). After many hours working on it and a bit of frustration the kids (and myself) love the machine; although still have trouble at times with starting (electronic choke is temperamental), I need to hold my hand over air intake until it gets warmed up... Bottom line if you don't have some basic mechanical skills (and internet skills to communicate with them), don't buy this machine... I am very happy with paying 1/3 the cost of the local "name brand" dealer, and it fits the need for my 9 and 11 year old kids... hope this helps. Rick from Michigan. Ride on!

I think they are trying to improve their quality of service. I bought a quad electric atv. Even though it took three weeks to arrive in NJ from CA (I was concerned because no information such as tracking number provided by the company though they immediately charged my credit card), I still received the goods ordered. The reason for the delay and no tracking number seems to be because they are using cheaper shipping companies. Motobuys should be very transparent about this. No one is going to dislike them because they are using unknown shipping companies. Their website should also clearly specify that deliver can take more that two weeks, which again customers will not be bothered about much. Anyways, on 2nd day of use, the ATV's motor axle broke and I submitted an email to get a replacement (including pictures of broken parts and serial number plate). After two days I got a confirmation from motobuys that manufacturer has been informed about the parts and next day I got a tracking number from the manufacturer. I am happy for now.

Tip for consumers:
They might have mismanaged their services initially but it seems like they are trying to fix their internal problems.

I placed, paid and expected my order in a timely manner. What I got, was voicemail after voicemail after voicemail concerning when to expect delivery. Press 1 for Sales... that call was picked up, Sales are not their problem. Anything else, "leave a message" or "email me". The salesman quoted 2 to 3 weeks, it's been going on 5 weeks. I left half a dozen voice mails and half a dozen emails. Crickets till the 5th week. I was told my Golf Cart was just waiting to be shipped, ready to go! They have apparently, several "contracts" with carrier/delivery companies, but so far, none want to deliver to Utah. Why is this my fault? If you cannot deliver your product, STOP taking sales until you get caught up, or bring the unit! By the time I get this expensive little cart, it'll be Winter again. They suggested I have it shipped LTL, but won't guarantee it's undamaged condition, and they won't pay for the cart if it does become damaged by an outside delivery service, and on top of that, I have to go into the terminal 45 miles away with my own way to get this large Golf Cart home... WHY? They sold a $10,000 toy and can't deliver. I'm on the BACK BURNER! They state they will not refund order because of shipping issues. Seems they know they have shipping issues but continue to take order from out of their state of Texas. Bad Bad customer service.

Tip for consumers:
Don't rely on any kind of shipping date. Once you order, they will not refund for non ship or very very long shipping times. They do have the product in their store, but nobody to get it delivered.
