“Won't send me my axle which is under warranty”

On June 3 my rear axle started grinding, so I called and spoke to a gentleman named Charlie. He assured me that it would be taken care of. I followed his instructions to the letter. I even sent him a video of the axle, making the noise but after 4 or 5 phone calls and emails he stopped responding to my attempts to get a hold of him. I tried other departments, but no answer. It is now July 28 and still no answer or axle. My scooter is my primary transportation to and from my stage 4 cancer appointments and the grocery store. There are times when I must ride with the axle still grinding but I know one of these days it's just going to give out and leave me stranded, even though Charlie said it would be OK to ride. I wish someone would respond to my emails and texts but it looks like on my head against the wall. I only had 8 km on my scooter when the axle started grinding. Don't expect much if you have a warranty issue. Issue resolved after calling the distributor and finding out that my axle was still sitting waiting for a shipping label from Motobuys. It turned out that guy that was handling my claim just up and quit with no notice after locking up the computers. So I wish to withdraw my complaint since it wasn't Motobuys fault that the guy chose to sabotage the computer system.

I purchased a BMS Ranch Pony 500 in July 16 from motobuys. After reading several reviews, I was skeptical about the product and the service provided by motobuys. After pricing the Polaris Ranger, I decided I would take a chance and see if the reviews I read were true.

I spoke with a gentleman named Bill, who came across as "Gruff" and not too friendly; however after speaking with him via email and telephone several times, I got the feeling that he is just not a joking kind of guy. He always responded promptly to my inquiries and was very knowledgeable about the Ranch Pony. I ordered the machine on a Thursday and was told the following day that it was already scheduled to be placed on car carrier and transported. I RECEIVED THE MACHINE WITHIN 4 BUSINESS DAYS! It was in great shape as promised and was entirely turn-key. Two days later, I received a package with my free battery charger and the next week I received my MCO. I don't understand how these other reviewers say they waited for months for their MCO. All in all, the ordering process and delivery of the goods were exceptional. A+

The Ranch Pony thus far seems to be a great value for the money. It came fully equipped with every option available. I did have to install the roof and windshield myself, but that literally took 10 minutes. The machine has good power, looks great, and seems to be put together well. I guess time will tell if it holds up in the long run, but thus far I am more that pleased.

I would recommend both motobuys and the BMS Ranch Pony to friends and family and will do business with them again in the future.

I ordered a Trailmaster XRX Mid go kart for my kids a few months ago and the thing still doesn't run for longer for 5 minutes without stalling. The go kart was delivered in a smashed up box and when I opened it, the box was full of rocks, broken glass and two screw drivers! There was significant paint damage to the left rear corner of the go kart, as it had been dropped and dragged, apparently during shipping and when I called on it, they actually sent me a can of red paint to fix it myself! Then when I assembled it and started it up, it ran choked out for a few minutes then stalled out... when I called to notify them that it doesn't work, they actually sent me a you tube video of how to work on a carburetor! What a joke, what horrible service and I still have no answers and my kid can't dive his go kart without it stalling after 3 minutes. Plus the electric start no longer works, this thing has not been driven 1 mile. Now I am looking for a service company that can work on my brand new go kart because I don't want someone to send me a you tube video on how to fix their brand new piece of junk.

I would not ever buy anything from this store, they will ship you busted up broken go karts that literally dont work and then say you are on your own when you call them after dropping a couple grand. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!.

I purchased a Apollo 70cc dirt bike for my grandson but it wouldn't run because the carburetor was bad. The butterfly was in pieces. They were very nice when I bought the bike but after that I tried for 3 months to get anyone customer support or tech support. I tried so many times by calling customer support or tech support but always got a answering machine.i left at least 20 messages so I Tried emailing them over 2 dozen times and finally a man name Ken for tech support called and we talked about the issue and he said he would have a carburetor sent over 2 months ago which never came and then the only I could get through was to call a sales person and I asked for a manager which he said he was and said his name was Bob but the email was headed as Peter@ Motobuys.com. Then he also said he would have a carburetor sent and that never happened. When I emailed him again he said he was just a salesman and there was nothing he could do. And the bike still doesn't run and I can't get anything for it because it was made in China. I've have Tried to call the salesman again but now I get a answering machine. When I bought I was number one but now I feel like me or my grandson who is 8 doesn't matter. I paid 1,100 for the bike and to have it shipped. In my 66 years I have never been treated this poorly never. My advice to anyone do not buy from Kart Quest or Moto buys. They work together. The bike is warrantee but they won't honor it. I'm a veteran and the part is around 30 dollars. My grandson is heartbroken but they don't seem to care.

On 12/2/2013 I ordered a go cart with helmets and accessories from Motobuys.com for our grand kids for Christmas. My husband had just been diagnosed with advanced cancer and I had just had knee replacement surgery which limited us from traveling for this purchase. After making the purchase I received an email advising that I would be receiving a followup email within 5 days to make arrangements for delivery by truck. No emails and after a week I was getting anxious about the arrival in time for Christmas so I phoned # on Motobuys website and was advised due to an ice storm@ their Texas warehouse no one was able to get their to arrange shipment, I was reassured that as soon as it cleared I would be getting my go carts and there was still plenty of time for shipment. Almost daily calls to motobuys with repeated reassurances and they only needed 3 days to get it to me. They quit answering the phone 4 days before Christmas and not responding to voice mails or e-mails. After filing a complaint with one the their purchase satisfaction guarantee companies posted on their website, I was advised that motobuys told them that I had repeatedly been told that they did not have the go cart and it was on back order(first time I had heard that) I would think a reputable company would have offered alternative inventory if this was not in stock. This was really very distressing for not only our grand kids but us and their parents as well. The satisfaction guarantee company was almost as useless as motobuys in that they advised since no money officially changed hands I had no grounds for filing complaint. (This reassurance guarantee was one of the reasons that prompted us to go ahead and purchase through motobuys). Needless to say if ZERO STARS was an option thats what they would get. With Christmas 2014 fast approaching I felt compelled to warn consumers to look elsewhere than motobuys for your Christmas purchases

Ordered a TM-29 on the 6th, it arrived on the 10th. No damage and no scratches. 1st one I have seen shipped with neoprene zip tied around the bike in places that might have rubbed. Nice touch. Now for some information on the bike.

Same 125cc lifan based 4 up engine as all the other. Shouldn't have any issues out of the motor. The wheels have alloy centers that was an expected bonus. The front forks have bleed vents, something I wish my other 4 china pit bikes had.
Brakes are the same as every other bike so replacement parts will be easy to find. Rear shock is a lot better quality than my Apollo db-19. The rear tire came with a bead lock already installed

In case you didn't know, the EPA won't let these bike in the country without passing emissions. So they all come with a carb that's not adjustable. Some people get lucky and the stock carb works well at there altitude. Most don't. The carbs are set very lean and this could hurt your engine. Order a Nibbi pe26fl on Amazon, they run about $70. The stock jetting in the Nibbi should be close enough to right to make most people happy. And don't forget to change the shipping oil before you start it!

This is my 1st experience with the Trailmaster brand. This bike rides excellent. It's stable and smooth. Night and day better than the Apollo.

I bought two 125 four wheelers for my grandkids. It did take a little longer to get here but everything worked out. Both were delivered with no problems. I will say they are packaged very well. They are difficult to put together and I was really surprised of the quality. Bob in the sales department was extremely helpful with everything. Now I'm looking into a 150 cc scooter.

Ordered Trailmaster MID xrx/r, couple of weeks ago, after researching the Internet and reading reviews. Motobuy had the best price with some positive and negative reviews. I have 5 grandkids who love to ride gocart, so I ordered the reverse model, as we have lots of space at our home. The cart is beautiful the head rests are molded into the seat, 4 point harness, gas tank is above the motor, duel headlights and horns, sealed - no maintenance battery, VERY NICE! I'm a DIY'er and ordered the un-assembled model. UPS delivered right to my garage door. Don't be surprised that cart and metal packaging extend over the sides of the wood pallet. Started to assemble and immediately noticed that one rear shock was missing. Called Sales immediately and was promised a quick (two day delivery) replacement. After a week, I called back and asked for update, received part next business day. First start of the engine was hard, had to open carb bowl drain to flush some fresh gas into bowl. After that, starts fine. I know there has been some negative reviews regarding delivery and customer service. I believe that Motobuy is located in Arizona and the warehouse is located in Texas. Because of the virus and recent civil unrest, my order was delayed. So far, I am VERY pleased and would give the gocart a 5 star and customer service a 3 (only because of the missing shock and couple of followup calls). Bottom line, be sure to order early, understand that warehouse is in Texas, and patience is a virtue. ENJOY!

I called about a UTV/Golf Cart: https://motobuys.com/collections/utvs-side-by-sides/products/trailmaster-taurus200gx I spoke with Bob (salesman) on 25Apr, after our conversation and pricing (7366. 00) he said he would send me an invoice via email so I could run it by my husband. Well, I left two messages on 26Apr --crickets. This morning I called (27Apr) and I get answering machine. I believe if you have to work too hard at wanting something, especially at this price... it's God's way of saying it's not meant to be. So, I started doing a little homework on this company: https://www.bbb.org/us/tx/garland/profile/rv-dealers/moto-buys-*******9737. Between BBB and this site, results not good.
I'm very thankful for real ppl that take the time to leave real reviews... that's exactly why I'm leaving mine too. Thank God, I didn't spend 7366. 00 on this company. Glad for the ppl w/ good reviews, customer service, and product; however, I AM NOT gambling my 7366. 00. I will pay more, but sometimes you get what you pay for. Blessings, OKC

I bought a 200cc RPS. IT ONLY RAN FOR 1 DAY. THEY SENT IT WITH A BAD BATTERY. THE WELDING IS HORRIBLE! DO NOT BUY, DO NOT BUY, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I purchased a Trailmaster Ultra Blazer 200 EX EFI Go Kart for my son as a Christmas present. I spend $4,299.00 which included delivery and the unit to be 95% assembled.

When the unit arrived on 12/10/2021 it was severely damaged. The unit had huge gouges, scratches, even the metal gas tank on top of the motor was smashed in, the front grill was busted, tire had some marks on it and who knows what engine and body was done to the unit. I refused the unit since I ordered a new one not one in damaged.

When the unit was returned to Motobuys they wrote me an email telling me that their mechanic looked at the unit and only the gas tank and grill was damaged and it could have easily been fixed and that there was NO scratches or scrapes on the unit. I tried calling Motobuys several times and they would not take my call. I had to my sons phone to call them (since it appeared they blocked my number) for them to return my call. When I spoke with * in sales he first told me there was nothing wrong with my unit and it was just the gas tank and grill and I could have fixed it. I asked * from sales about the gouges (Which * at Motobuys wrote in an email that there were none) and * said "we could have sent you some paint to touch it up" In addition, Motobuys charged me $561.00 to return the damaged unit.

Would you let your child drive this when something very heavy smashed it? If the gas tank is this damaged, what could be going on with the motor? Check out the axel where the wheel is - I'm pretty sure the weight of the unit is not suppose to balance on it?
I am now working with the BBB and Attorney General in Texas to get my money refunded.

Bought this little bike as a commuter. It didnt work from day 1. The service people are slow getting back to you. I needed a part that had to ship from china so it took a while. Meanwhile your little warranty is dinging away while you wait. All warranty work is on you to do so I am wrenching it myself (although I do like doing that, I am just not that mechanically inclined so everything takes me a long time). Once the part was installed it started to rn, but it only pulls up to 2nd gear. It will go into 3rd but it immediately begins to lose speed. If you skip to 4th it slows down very fast. So this $1700 scooter goes about 25 mph. That is it. When I asked what we need to do to get this in 3rd gear, "MOTOBUYS" said "How fast are you expecting this vehicle to go? They top out at about 35mph with a smaller person on them". It doesnt say that in the ads. Some of the ads with their 49cc say they go 40 mph. I had a scooter with 49 cc that I could get up to 43 mph on level ground. So 25 mph is junk. STAY far away fromt his thing. Save your money.

I purchased a Rockets mc13-150cc Scooter on Friday and it was delivered on Wednesday fully assembled and the ups delivery guy was a great help motobuys thanks for the Awesome service.

Motobuys is either out of business, or does not have any customer service whatsoever.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT
CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH MOTOBUYS. The happy few reviews you come across, were just very luck people that actually had a vehicle come in good condition, and it runs. I purchased a new trailmaster taurus 450 utv back in October.
The delivery was supposed to be made a week before I had knee replacement surgery. The delivery was late, and the 1500 lb crate was a pain in the bleep to unload. They sent it long ways on a cube van, so we had to improvise to get it unloaded. The crate was delivered a few days before I had knee replacement surgery. It was not until three weeks ago that I recovered enough from surgery to assemble the utv. My lovely wife and I assembled the buggy with very vague instructions. My wife works for Caterpillar, and I'm a 30+ year IBEW Union Electrician. Our experience made it possible to assemble the cart.
To our disappointment we completed the project, and found the ECU(Electrical control unit) to be missing. Some idiot failed to install it, or some other mishap. I've filled out a parts request order form, and received a note claiming it would take two or three days to process. That was over three weeks ago. I've tried every avenue that Motobuys has to contact representative in order to retrieve the part. It's as if Motobuys has went out of business, or no longer has customer service. The reviews for Motobuys on the Better Business Bureau website tells all. I would give no stars if it were possible. I have a $10,000 UTV taking up valuable space in my garage, that is useless. Not one representative from Motobuys will

It's downright despicable for a company to treat customers this way. The only good reviews you read are by customers that were lucky enough to receive a vehicle with all its parts, and actually starts up and runs. Do take that chance, don't order anything from Motobuys. Motobuys is undoubtedly the worst company I've ever did business with in my life. I bought this vehicle for work.
So, it's not just the $200.00 ECU they still owe me, but the time wasted trying to get hold of a Motobuys representative. And I still can't use vehicle for work, or and leisure.

Trailmaster 150 sorrento. Where can you get service? No. Place locally. You can never reach anyone. I wouldn't buy from motobuys again

Tip for consumers:
Trailmaster 150 sorrento scooter hard to reach anyone, they want you to use email no phone calls. No one services my scooter anywhere locally. Lousy owners manual sketches for drawings lack of detail. Vague instructions.

I'm going to start by saying that businesses like this, selling chinese machines, get lots of crap from their customers. People will come on here pissed off that there brand new chinese moped broke after the first few days and they want a new one. 99% of the time it is the purchasers fault for not following the manual and not treating their machines right. I've had multiple chinese mopeds, motorcycles, and dirtbikes all of which have lasted me and havent had out of the ordinary problems. This is because i take care of them and complete all the maintenance and read the manuals for that specific machine. Also, keep in mind that mostly only the customers who receive broken products write reviews on this website. I recently purchased a Yamasaki YM50-9 50cc 4-speed manual "motorcycle." I purchased the product and it was shipped out very quickly and arrived promptly without a scratch. I also shot a couple emails to the company about the bike and got quick answers on all of them. I love my new bike and am taking very good care of it. If anything was to break It is simply not fair to blame it on the company. They simply buy the product and resell it. This was my first time purchasing an item from motobuys as i have bought from multiple chinese wholesale websites. I had no problems and would definitely make another purchase from them. You customers that come on here need to not be such a pain in the butt and be calm and respectful and then maybe you'd get a responses. If worst comes to worst and somehting very bad happens you can always pull the card from the payment and try to resolve the problem. These companies have a lot to deal with and you need to understand that. I have had bad experiences int he past but i found that if you are polite and understanding that they always come through and do their best to please you. Stop being such ignorant, greedy, rude a$$holes and try being kind for once. It will get you far in life. Thanks everyone, Dean.
