If you love to play a game that is constantly hacked and a huge danger to your privacy and computer go for it! Unfortunately no older person in their right mind would do that. So they prey on younger children. My youngest was bothered by a girl and when my daughter finally got VIP the girl hacked her and stole the account. My father in law could do nothing and neither would customer service. Even after he sent them receipts as proof they wanted a video. Way to go hassling an old man for more proof, rip off!

MovieStarPlanet doesn't require e-mail so if you don't have an e-mail entered, any hacker that enters their e-mail address can access your account and lock you out. They don't have a customer support phone number and the account e-mail is required to get a response from their automated service. I will file fraudulent credit card transaction with Visa because we gave them money.

I am so disgusted with the incompetent people at customer service with this game. I have written several times asking for information and they always send me a standardized response that does not help me at all. I'm fed up with them and fed up with writing to them.

My grand daughter is not allowed to play their games any longer. She isn't happy about it but I'm not going to keep spending money on the game for her and then she gets locked out and loses everything. I'm not happy about the content or their lack of security either.

This game does have an age rating for 8-16-year-olds (I think those are the numbers). But in this game they mention boyfriends, and I mean, if an 8-year-old was playing, they're not at the age to know about boyfriends yet. Also, there is a lot of inappropriate clothing. It's also really easy to get hacked on MovieStarPlanet.

Like all the other reviews that said they steal your money, it's fine if you don't buy VIP. But so far I didn't get bullied, and I've been playing for around a year. And don't give out any personal info and I think you'll be fine. It's not that bad...

Ive been playing this since I was 11 (Currently 19) and I just now got back into it because of cove and being bored. Not the point. The point is, whenever I get into a chat and someone gives away coins and I collect them, it adds to my balance and then 5 minutes later, they're taken away. What a scam. Also, why don't they update their systems? The game has had no real changes other than the clothes. Its exactly how I used to play it EIGHT YEARS AGO... kind of pathetic.

I see most of these reviews are how their kids got hacked. Be cautious with your password and they won't get hacked. I'm an 11 year old. My account hasn't been hacked, I have VIP. So yeah. This is coming from an 11 year old come on guys.

Never had a problem before, payed for VIP a few times for my daughter. Latest VIP failed to be applied to her a/c but they took the money! Ok these things can happen but firstly they say you have to wait 7 days for it to be applied, that came and went and still nothing, you can even see it says pending or failed on her history. Customer service is shocking, just a generic email address that ignores you for days, when you send them proof of purchase they still do absolutely nothing about it. At least this has probably saved me money in the long run as my daughter has accepted that I won't be giving these people any more money.

Best game ever. It is such a good game. If you don`t want your account to get hacked don`t give out your password common sense. I have been playing msp for a whole year now and I have vip on 3 accounts. Msp doesn`t scam people

This website is a total scam. I purchased VIP for my daughter (very expensive I might add) for her birthday. She was locked out two days later supposedly for sending the customer support too many emails. The reason she was emailing customer support was because they had locked her out for some unknown reason. Now we are out $89 and they will not refund any monies to us.

I bought a star vip for one week and so did my friend. Then we noticed our coins kept randomly going down. We weren't buying ANYTHING. Customer service was contacted and we didn't get any help. Ridiculous. Never buy anything from this website, all they want is your money.

I'll admit, i've been playing this game since 2013 and it's always been my favourite. It's fun, but the customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE. I've spent well over $150 on vip, and recently renewed my vip only to get permanently banned a few days later! I've contacted them plenty of times, but they just send an automated response and stop replying. The only thing i really do on there is make outfits and idly look through chat rooms, so i've got no clue why i got banned? None of what i do is against the rules? To put it simply, they used to have great customer service, but with the release of msp2 it's gone completely down hill.

I have been playing this game for years. As a child, my parents didn't let me play many chat games, but they let me play this one as it has a happy sweet cover. But don't be fooled. There are stalkers, hackers, predators, and much more. One such experience I had was I was followed in servers by a boy dressed as Sonic (yes, Sonic) asking me to have hedgehog babies with him. Also the V. I. P thing is ridiculous. It has many items that people envy but it costs a large amount of money. And if they remove it, guess what? No refunds. My friend also says that it lowered her little sister's self esteem, and made her feel like she had to be pretty and popular. There are some good parts, though. It promotes creativity, and there are good messages the NPCs send you, such as telling you to be kind, as well as actual positive people. I recommend checking your child's account daily so you know what they are doing. All in all not very safe, but is very fun. Sorry about the long review.

My daughter has had 3 accounts now all with VIP access the most recent purchased 9/30/17. Her account has again been "hacked", she did not share her information with anyone and when we try to get a new password emailed to us it says my email doesn't exist in their system! I put the email in myself so I know that not only is it in the system but connected to her new account. This site is a total scam. After paying for VIP membership your account works fine for a week or 2 but after that good luck getting back into your account before everything you bought is used up by "hackers". If this was only happening to my kid I wouldn't be so pissed by the fact that multiple people are being ripped off and not being refunded and almost always not getting a reply from the company is beyond ridiculous! Do NOT spend a dime on this website unless you feel like being ripped off and having an upset child.

DO NOT PLAY MSP! This company steals your money. A few months back my daughter played and next thing is see are all these charges on my PP account. $9.99, $19.99, $45 & $80 charges. Several of them within a 4 day period amounting to over $500. I just about lost my mind. I wasn't able to get all my money back either.
You can't contact them either. They suck big time.

There are some people asking for phone numbers, where you live, all sorts of personal information. It depends on who plays it. You could say No, or some kids could just spill their info. People complain on the money they spend and getting hacked afterwards. Again, it depends on who plays it. Some people may be smart and keep their money, or some people could spend their money but be extra careful with not sharing their passwords. Sometimes MSP is not a safe place, but if you play cautiously, it could end up being a very fun game.

There is a way from not saying anything bad on MSP. MSP has a safe chat system (which I find annoying because I wouldn't swear.) that blocks out bad things from being said. These other reviews are out of date. However, I do believe the VIP issues.

I bought my daughter VIP for her birthday. We went on vacation and someone stole her account and got her banned. 16 emails into customer service and now they won't respond after I showed them we bought VIP to show ownership on the account. Horrible customer service and no other way of contact other than email.

This game is atrocious. I invested almost £300 in this game, and they locked my account for no reason. When I emailed asking for them to unlock it or give a refund they refused. Its absolutely terrible. It's such a scam and I recommend you un install this game or just dont install it at all

This game is run by scamming liars who have no respect for the people who play their game, their security is $#*! and they will not return $800 worth of stolen merchandise even if it was taken due to their lack of security. I didn't give my password away but guess what! There are tools that let people steal your hard earned items ofc because msp after 11 almost 12 years has $#*! security

Thank you all for the good read... we spent alot of money on that site and they banned my daughter forever for reasons unjust... im about to place some complaints into the police for scams as well as the constant virus checker being alerted to the site

MSP is really a nice game. Its just that the VIP prices are really high so most players can't get it. Also, I don't think people should be allowed to be online dating. Plus, there aren't that many options to earn starcoins that are efficient.
