U-Haul Moving Help Experience Feedback
I had a negative experience with U-Haul Moving Help. I hired a moving company named RA Transport, owned by an individual named Ryan, through U-Haul's moving help service. We scheduled their services 17 days in advance, and they confirmed they would be there. We agreed on the job's timing, but communication issues arose as the moving day approached.
The day before the scheduled move, we tried contacting them via text with no response. After calling them, we managed to confirm the move for the next day. However, on the day of the move, they failed to show up. Despite our attempts to reach them, our calls went unanswered and went straight to voicemail.
Even after trying from another phone, we were unable to get through to them. It seemed like they had blocked us deliberately and did not respond to our text messages. I believe U-Haul should establish clear standards for service providers to prevent such disappointing experiences.
After I specifically confirmed my booking and location 2 months prior, on less than 1 week's notice the mover cancelled on me. (Movers Georges)
Trying to get help from movinghelp.com was useless - only chat and email and they just follow the scripts. No clue on how their site even works.
Don't use this moving company, Divine Transition.
They literally threw my merchandise in my storage unit breaking a table and lamp.
I also overpaid them $80.00.
I paid both movers $120.00 each and bought them dinner.
I was also told to pay cash after the initial pay code amount of $165.95
I sent a text immediately after they left and they asked if I had cash app to deposit them I've heard nothing since. They can't be located and they should be banned immediately. Thank you for your time.

Called uhaul who then moved me over to these people, mentioned it'd be a 120$ move and credited my account 750$, then they go on saying that they'd fully refund me if anything was to come up, did so and they still owe me an extra 100$. Never even used their truck or services and then completely tried to screw me over any way they could, 0/10 avoid this company at all costs.
I reserved and paid for moving help several weeks before my move. On the day of the move, no one showed up. When I called the contact number, they said they were busy and hung up on me.
Because I was unable to move from my apartment on my move out date, I was charged hundreds of dollars for violating my lease.
Don't use this company. They don't actually screen the movers you hire.
This moving service was absolutely excellent! I booked through U-Haul, and it was so extremely easy. The guys were running a little bit behind, but they let me know right away and it didn't hurt the move at all! They moved my roommate and myself out of our apartment, carried her stuff to her new location and put my stuff in my separate location! They were so helpful, so strong and amazing I would strongly recommend this moving service.
I called and texted this moving company "Top Dog Movers" multiple times before the day they were scheduled to help. I contacted Movinghelp.com regarding my concern and they sent me a text message stating "Elite Movers" were confirmed to assist with our move. This was not the moving company I reserved. Both moving companies have the same contact number. The movers did not show up the day of our move. Disgusted and upset. Will never go through Movinghelp.com.
They were supposed to have arrived on Saturday at 11 am, we had someone waiting outside from 10:30 am. This was moving an elderly lady from an assisted living facility. They were a no show! When we called they told us they were on their way. One hour later, still no show. We called the company back, the guy was so rude and said if we keep calling he is canceling the job. He said he has another two guys coming. Again no show! So two 70 year old adults had to do all the moving into the truck because after we tried calling again, they would not answer the phone.
We found another company that met us at our destination to unload the truck, They are called Always Moving! Call them before you call this company. Worst Customer Service I have ever encountered.
Twice in 7 months I've scheduled and paid for movers and TWICE no show. Quick to take my money and not provide help. Customer service on the phone and chat is the WORST... can't get anyone to answer the phone or chat. Never again! Useless company
U-haul set up a moving company to transport U boxes from distribution centers to home destination. We tried to contact the Moving Company numerous times through calls and emails. The day of service they were a NO SHOW. We got stuck paying almost $150 more to different supplier to get Uboxes moved. Uhaul will not take responsibility for cost increase due to fine print in contract. Check reviews on your service provider so that you are not holding the bag. Do not let UHaul pick a no show for you.
The dumbest moving company i know. Customer service is stupid and can't do anything to help you. The agents reponding to my email claim to be all managers but can't do refunds. All answering responding like dumb robots. Will not help to make adjustments after there are issues with the movers ran away with the code saying it can be refunded when we finish early. Don't do this kind of business when you don't have the pwoer to get refund when the service providers are unresponsive. You should be in the middle to protect the customers. Dumb stupid $#*!.
I have been renting from Uhaul for the past 5 years. Wanted to register for MovingHelp but was declined.
Uhaul Answer: Thank you for inquiring about your standing in the Moving Help MarketPlace. Upon review of your account, it is our decision that your company does not fit our business model and is not a mutually beneficial business relationship.
Uhaul: Does your business have its own truck?
Me: No, we don't own a truck. We have renting trucks from Uhaul Barlow for the past 5 years.
Uhaul: There are photos of trucks being used on your website that are not U-Haul trucks.
Me: That is just a photo, it can be removed. We don't own a truck, we rent trucks from Uhaul.
Nicole LoPresti - Moving Helper Support: Never responded back.
I booked my Uhaul with loading help, they never came, never called to tell me they won't come.
I called them multiple times, it takes you at least 40 minutes on the line for them to answer (which I only succeeded doing this once) they won't help you and they offer just to change the company even without confirming that the new company will come.
Worst experience ever, I will never even try using them again.
I even tried to review them on their website but it is harder to write a review for them more than getting a masters degree, so I ended up writing my review here.
For your sake, AVOID THEM
Long story short, stay away from MovingHelp. Once you pay them there is no recourse for damage! Made the mistake of trusting them and when we unpacked at our destination, lots of damaged furniture. Tried to file a complaint and complete waste of time. Also, you won't be able to speak with anyone either. You can open a dialogue box and then they tell you to work with the packing crew, who have no interest in fixing their mistakes once they've been paid.
1) Broke stuff including a bed frame and huge glass print/photo.
2) Would not listen, I was moving 1 mile away, we could have made 2 trips... but they kept unloading and reloading the truck to try and get everything in one trip. Ultimately 1.5 rooms of stuff was not moved and I had to do by myself when everyone left.
3) The owner kept calling and uprating me.
4) A month. Later I get something asking for a review... so I tell them what happened to basically be called a liar and asked why I waited a month. Uh... that's when their email asking for a review came. But the owner was rude and kept insinuating I was lying. I didn't even want anything from them... but still had to deal with this POS. I am not adding any photos as it is a waste of my time... there are 352 other reviews here stating the same crappy service.
Worked 2 of the 4 hours that I paid for, were sloppy, left trash, dragged mud thru the entire house. Huge gouges put in my table as they tried to force it thru a doorway, then claimed the other folks who packed my items did it.
I should have read these reviews before hiring Ambitions Finest Movers from Gloucester NJ to move my belongings. One of the movers was stoned out of his mind and wandering around picking up and dropping boxes. They tried to move our $1400 couch by ramming it through our front door without any thought or logic. By the time I walked over to check on them the front door was damaged beyond repair and the couch was on the ground. Many boxes were dropped with no worry from the movers, then they flipped our wooden dresser on its tops and slid it into the U-Haul scratching every part. Utilized no real space in the truck and then we told them they could leave and we would finish up. Complained to the owner who told me I was a liar and took no responsibility. Called me immature when I left an honest review. Don't use MovingHelp - it's a bogus scam. Now I am out hundreds of dollars because of careless employees with no experience and an owner who just wants to make money without any real work.
How convenient for moving help.com to place the blame on the movers. Moving help.com should be ashamed of themselves. They take advantage, collect the money and if anything goes wrong, they do nothing to help. Deceitful in their practices. Not only was I charged for time and services not utilized, but damages and missing boxes. Don't use these people! All they'll tell you is sorry for the inconvenience.
Let them tell you whatever they want, their main concern is concealing the identity of the moving companies providing quotes and pocketing a commission from the deal.
If the moving company that you book through them has no availability, or is unreliable, they will not help you.
They will refund your money instantly which is very helpful, but overall this service is a complete waste of your time.
This type of business model really had potential, but they just didn't strive for quality with it.
Don't believe any of the false advertising on their website, unreliable.
I've used MovingHelp for 2 years and it's been great. It works like Priceline or Amazon and it connects me with the best and cheapest movers available. I personally recommend to filter the cheapest movers first and then find the company with a five star rating from more than 100 customers. I have never been disappointed.
Answer: Do not use these people. They don't care if they ruin your furniture. They are very inexperienced, and are a total rip off! Don't believe what you read about them on MovingHelp, that's completely false!
Answer: A good moving company is Almighty Movers. I used them before and they are professional, did a great job, and do not overcharge. I about to move again, and will be using them again for sure! You can count on them for help.
Answer: Run do not use this websight they will rip you off and there is no one to talk to never see your money back.
