As a resident of NW Scotland who is a musician and audio engineer I am probably more used than most to buying gear over the internet and it's not always an easy process. Sadly there is a long list of UK pro audio dealers who frequently mess things up.
I was at the point of making a purchase this morning when I noticed a discrepancy in the shipping costs added to my basket, which were nearly double those quoted on the website shipping FAQ. I queried this with customer service who were initially very helpful and followed up my query quickly but unfortunately went on to give me further incorrect information as to which price was right when they got back to me (after consulting with the director of the company). When you live in a rural area like I do, delivery price gouging is a sensitive issue and I was very put off by this initial confirmation of what appeared to be a blatant example of price hiking of the worst kind, totally contrary to their advertised shipping rates (I was already paying a substantial shipping surcharge and on this occasion would have been happy to do so). I was also told by one customer service advisor that it didn't really matter to them because they didn't have that many customers in my area. By the time they had identified the issue and offered me the product at the correct shipping rate for my location I'd lost faith. Not inspired to try to use them again and will certainly warn people to check for discrepancies in the basket regarding shipping rates. Such a shame. Yet another UK pro audio company who could offer a great competetive service but fail to deliver.

Appalling customer service. Product I bought from them became faulty within a few months of purchase. Sent the item back to them for a warranty repair and have had to repeatedly chase them for updates, they are not proactive. Two months down the line and I still don't have my item back and have no idea if I'll ever see it again. This has left me in a very difficult situation because I need the item (a pair of headphones) for work assignments. For a company that sells professional audio equipment they are extremely unprofessional in their approach to resolving relatively straightforward issues. We have asked for a refund, otherwise we will be taking them to small claims court.

I bought an item off from the online shop www.musicmatter.com for next day delivery it wasnt a next day delivery it is fake. The item was stuck with DPD who you cant reach by phone. Their customer service is very poor and instead of assuring me to be patient they decided to refund me which wont clear in my account for 5-7 working days. Thats a nasty way to treat any customer and watch them they do have fake positive feedbacks on the internet- avoid them they will delay you and if you are
Meeting a target they are a complete disappointment to any customer. Stay safe.

Recently bought some genelecs 8050b, communication was great throughout the process. Some orders will take slightly longer as stock needs to be ordered in, but this is standard for any retailer supplying specialized equipment. If youre not an entitled boomer thats expecting supplier-retailer-customer delivery in a single day then this is a great online shop!
