In 2011 I found out that I had very severe sleep apnea. I would stop breathing 92 times per hour! No wonder I was tired all the time. My first machine was a CPAP. It didn't have a computer chip to moniter results back in 2011. It wasn't working, so I got a BiPAP machine from ResMed, a leading company in Sleep Apnea machines. This one had a chip which would record "usage hours, mask seal, events, mask on/off, and myAir score". This helped me monitor my progress. After several months, the sleep apnea "events" (which monitored the number of times I stopped breathing or had insufficient breaths" started increasing again. Sleep specialists can download the chip and see all the data. Finally, I got an ASV machine, also from ResMed and also with a chip. If you have sleep apnea, I highly recommend that you get a ResMed machine. To register, you input easy information and can then see all of the indicators I mentioned above, in order to see how effective your machine is in helping your sleep apnea. Because I have such severe sleep apnea, I check my events and scores often. If my events increase, I can bring the chip in to my doctor, he downloads the data, and then he can increase or decrease the pressures of the machine. The myair.resmed.com site also shows you how to clean your equipment and gives you tips on how to better control your sleep apnea. I don't know how many other companies manufacture sleep apnea machines, but I highly recommend ResMed. Whatever brand you get, get one with a computer chip and take more charge over your sleep apnea and your health. Be proactive and be a team member with your doctor. This site is what you need to do so.

The machine ramps up to a level that is too high after about an hour and injects air into my stomach, making me bloated and waking me up, defeating the whole point of the machine. After one month of use the machine has an error that the filter needs to be replaced, it didn't even come with enough supplies to work for two months! It cost over 1,000 dollars, does not come with support, did not fix the issue, and now wants me to spend more hundreds of dollars on a new filter. Simply put, I have stopped using this machine and am down 1000 dollars. I highly recommend using a different service to find your cpap machine. This might seem like a convenient system but it is actually the opposite.

Have had the myair 11 for a few days. Already stopped working. There is zero support from the manufacturer (they refer you to the doctor as if he went to medical school and also had time for a degree in mechanical engineering).
Haven't been able to sleep in days. The machine just sprayed water all over my bed.
Do not use!

I have had my Resmed CPAP for about 3 years. It stopped working and I started receiving a Heating System Fault error message. I called ResMed and got a total runaround with their customer service and tech support. I called the supplier, Reliable Respiratory, and was told (when they elected to return my calls) that the machine was out of warranty and that I need to buy a new machine (surprise) for $500. Reliable Respiratory was always efficient when it wanted me to buy new supplies though. In the end I did speak to managers but $500 and a new machine remained the price for fixing this problem.
When I go online I see this is a "known" problem with the ResMed equipment. Planned obsolescence. What a scam!
For those of us that are new to CPAP therapy, we rely on the compliance report for continued insurance coverage. Right now I am several days under compliance due to Resmed's ability to track and record my usage in a timely fashion. Right now I haven't seen an update in my usage in over a week. Just waiting for the insurance company to notify me they are no longer covering my treatment.
In addition to above, my new mask I received at the suggested interval was a style I have never used before…called them the day I received it to return it and still being charged for it.
Good product…terrible company.

My air treats user like they are idiots. Gives examples of why data transfers isn't working. Blaming it all on the user. First time I stopped getting my daily reports lasted a week. This time its going on 2 weeks.! Between LinCare, my insurance company.and Southwood Sleep Center. This whole experience dealing with this is painful.! The bright side of it. Airsense 11 is probably best machine I have ever used. Most comfortable sleep I have had in years. Last time I had to do this? Between my insurance and me payed over $3000.00 for rental on a Cpap machine that cost $695.00. This time its the same crap. But only a 13 month rental. But Lincare is charging my insurance for 2 separate machines. Cpap machine and a humidifier.? Lmao Its one machine.! The Cpap machine has a humidifier built-in to it. Tired of the scam insurance games. For a Cpap machine that cost around 900.00 on Amazon.!
I have the app installed on my phone, and on my ipad. Cannot get data. When I trie to look on my dashboard it tells me data is delayed, yet I receive emails telling me my data hasn't loaded to the app. Hopefully, the machine is transmitting to my doctor. Frustrating and frustrated. Have done all the troubleshooting. Wishing I went with another provider for my Cpap machine. Planning to talk to my doctor to see if I can switch equipment at my next visit.
I purchased a Resmed mask to go with my resmed machine and they do not connect. I called customer service to help and they would not help me to figure out what part I needed or where to go to get it to get this to work.

No complaint about Resmed Airsense 11. However the app has become useless for a month. If an update caused issue revert to previous version and fix it. Don't have users in a bind without knowing how the COAP performed overnight.
This app leaves a lot of questions in my mind. If it's my data, why does it have to go out to a web site then back to me? Why can't the machine produce the reports? This is 2023. Here I've been without data for the past five days and I'm told it is a ResMed issue. If the machine produced the reports and it does the data, I wouldn't have to rely on an unreliable ResMed for my reports. This is unacceptable to me. Why do doctors use this unreliable service? I'll make my complaints known to UNC.
Tip for consumers:
Poor application, so far the machine seems solid.

Okay. I made a mistake. I was so sleep deprived. I should have reviewed the Cpap Store not Resmed. The myair. Resmed machine is okay. The machine works okay for me. It was a big rip off to to medicare though. I was able to buy a new one for my son for $500 without a doctor. My issue is the Cpap Store. Never do business with them. They made a lot of money for nothing. I now get my masks and supplies from Linncare. They are wonderful.
I did my 3 month Medicare compliance with a Doctor up north because I am a Snowbird. He prescribed my new mask from Linncare since that is the store neareast me. I can than have a store near both of my residences. Linncare requested the switch from The Cpap store. The Cpap store never returned their requests or calls. I went too long with worn out masks.
My 6 month check up with my first doctor was awful. He had no idea how I did the entire 6 months. The Cpap store lied. He did not monitor my sleep via modem. The Cpap store pushed that modem on me. I had to pay $75 out of pocket since insurance does not cover it. I did not need to do that. The doctors just read the SD cards. As well as I could with a free online app called sleepyhead.
I am having my first appointment with Linncare on Thursday. I will post my experience in comparison of The CPAP store.
I have had my Cpap for 30 days. I feel no better. They have no email or phone number. For several days now my data does not show up on my app. The cost of this little machine is reminiscent of the days when a fax machine was not affordable. They have a corner on the market. They toot about how my doctor will get my data and he will be able to manage my treatment. Right. Have not heard a thing from him. I am sure the doctors get a big kick back from resmed and the Cpap store where I have to buy my supplies so Medicare pays. I had to pay my supplemental cost up front because it is not in their "network" Bogus. They got paid twice now from me and the supplemental. The Cpap store selling their product does not answer their phone and they have not returned my message in two days. Just take the money from Medicare and screw the little people.
Wouldn't let me create new password, tried to change email, wont allow either bc my machine registered at previous email. No help site, terrible resmed app.
Every other time, I have to log in again, they just said renter or it was my fault. I have used machine for over one year, just started doing this, very agrivating
They send me a link to some app that I can't open. Tried to email them and nothing.
What a waste of $300.
This app is bipolar! Up down up down!, for weeks, Not reliable! Drives me crazy! I'll just use my cpap machine and hope for the best
Platform is frequently down for extended period of time. No notification when platform is down. Look for an alternative.
One star because I can't give them a negative #. How can any company push out upgrades without testing? It's beyond belief.
Two major discrepencies first numbers do not match device and secondly no data sometimes
Removing app
