Pros: Easy to use, very reasonably priced, book is decent quality (for what you pay for it), good promotions. Also when I had deleted a coupon code for a buy one book get another copy, I contacted customer service and they gave me the code to use again: I did a yearbook for Mother's Day with one copy to each grandmother and they were very well-received. Hard-bound 11 x 8 book with a full photo on the front x 3 copies cost me around $100. The colours, binding and paper quality were all better than I expected and still in good shape more than a year later. Cons: There are *always* promotions so you will get these about every week in your email. If you scrapbook, want more customization beyond the basic or hope to pass the photo book down for generations to come, this is probably not the photo-book site for you.
Yes ive been trying find out about my order, M8893296 for several days. My phone # *******059. Please call me back. I am jocelyn warfield,; *******@msn.com It is so hard to get in touch with anyone in your firm. Was held on hold for 5 hours on 5/3/17. My previous experience with you was excellent. But this time however I'm not a happy camper at all.

They have some great deals going on pretty much all the time. The quality is honestly higher than I expected, and even though we are so close to the holidays, I received my order fast and in great condition. I did pay for expedited shipping, I must admit, but their shipping prices were so reasonable that I felt it worth it. I will definitely use them again.

I ordered a photobook around Father's Day, and used the Father's Day promo code and got a decent price (comparable to Shutterfly's prices). When I was checking out, it said it would 3-4 days to process, so I picked the 2-6 day shipping option. Therefore, I expected to receive my order in about 10 days max.
It took more than 2 weeks for my order to arrive. The first few times I chatted online with their customer service representatives online, they couldn't give me more information than the fact that my order was being processed.
Finally, one of the customer service reps told me that they had a severe backlog because of the Father's Day orders. I told them they should have had some sort of message or disclaimer during checkout to let people know that their order would take an ADDITIONAL week or so to receive.
The lack of communication about how long it would actually be until I received my order was extremely disappointing. I doubt I will ever order photobooks from them again.
I'm not a happy customer with their photobook desktop software. I spent a few hours working on my book, and when I went to change my cover photo, it completely re-arranged my other pages, and I couldn't reverse it (nope, "Undo" didn't do it). I just abandoned the entire project and went for a different photobook site.
I ordered premium album with photo inset cover. Album itself is fine, but the cover is terrible! All they did-is printed the picture on REGULAR PHOTO PAPER and GLUED it on top of leather! Looks like very cheap DIY! (And album cost me $700!) BE AWARE!
Customer service wasn't helpful and basically told me "sorry, it is what it is, no refund or exchange. Disappointed!
Have ordered 10 albums, most over $100 with discounts, over the past 3 years. Only 1 time was I disappointed with the quality. The biggest problem is that they don't deliver on what they promise. None of the albums I ordered were printed and shipped within the parameters set out by the company on their customer service website. All were shipped late. I am now waiting on two albums ordered on 12/11 and expected by 12/24. Printing time is described as 2-4 days. I tried calling and was on hold for 20 minutes. I sent an email and the automated response said they would get back to me within 72 hours. What is the status of my Order? How can I find out? Do I need to immediately go out and buy other Christmas presents? This is just unacceptable. There has been no correspondence from the Company since confirmation of my initial order. If there is a delay, THEN TELL ME! I check the My Order Status daily and the same info is posted (it is being printed). IS IT?
Don't use this company if you expect your album to arrive in the stated period of time.
If I could leave four negative stars, I would.
After over ten hours of work (over a period of several weeks) on a photo book using My Publisher software, I was planning to finally conclude my project last night. I had worked painstakingly on the arrangement and lay-out of 190 photos, I launched the software and, lo and behold, the book is not there. My photo book is now LOST.
I was in disbelief and had faith that, somehow, I would find the project I had slaved over. To no avail, I have searched my computer files; I've googled the hell out of "where does My Publisher files save on my computer." And, I called their Customer Service line (that, in and of itself is a joke) but they claim that the project is saved to the actual software program... inside of it somehow (the. Exe file). That is really hard to believe!
I recommend that, if you are contemplating the use of their software, DO NOT use My Publisher. You, too, may end up losing a great deal of work, energy, creativity, etc. I am absolutely sick about losing this project and needing to start all over again.
Now... in search of a better photo book publishing program.
When I wrote the scathing review of MyPublisher I had just received and email from customer support saying that "Subject - Let's Make a Deal - Response By (Tiffany N.) (09/27/2015 12:38 PM) On your order M******* she had a Qty of 2. Which you used a promo code of FREEFALLPAGES. Which is for free pages and lay flat pages. I'm showing that this order is in it's final stage. Before your order ships out." But immediately after writing my review here I received the following "Subject - Replacement book - Response By (Martha W.) (09/27/2015 09:52 PM), Hello Paul, thank you for contacting MyPublisher Customer Care Team. I am sorry you have received your order with these problems so I have took the liberty of reordering it for you. I am sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.
So they came through like champs and I feel everyone should know it.
DO NOT USE DIGI-SCRAPBOOK ON MYPUBLISHER.COM. Trust me. The scrapbooks are adorable--yes. The functionality of the site is NOT good. I have spent 10s of hours on the phone with tech support, this after about 40 hours of working on the scrapbook because of the lack of user-friendliness. Bottom line, the site is not ready to be used, and though I've given them many suggestions for improvement, to date none have been made. After spending so many hours creating my scrapbook I have no choice but to stick it out until it's published... however, hope I can save others from wasting their time. (Also this site has SO MANY coupons for their photo albums, but NONE for their scrapbooks and you cannot use your "My Publisher" coupons for their scrapbooks.)
First the good. Mypublisher use to be an excellent way to publish one off books at a reasonable cost. The Ugly... and it is bad. Their software is little to be desired with mind of its own. Read other reviews on this. The last draw-- for me this is a deal breaker: their customer service is abysmal,@#$!, you put the adjectives... They say they will help you and call you back, it is a lie. They never called me back to my repeated request to do so both on the phone and their email. I even sent an email to their so called customer relations director. No response, NADA. They send you an email that they will respond, but that is it. Their quality of books went way down and if you want to get your photobook on time for anything, do it months in advance and do not believe their timeline or lead time for anything. Basically they are unreliable. So I stopped using them. Also it prompted me to search for other photobook maker out there. Next time I will use others. And next time, if people can do reviews on other photobook maker, I will google the company for their service record, prior to spending my hard earned money! BTW always google the company service record prior to buying services. If I did with MYpublisher, I would not have bought the last book I did with them. They have whopping 1 star service record in many of review sites...
I have ordered loads of albums from MyPublisher over the years and they had really great customer service in the beginning, but over the past month, Their service has taken a toll for the worst. They are either under new management or things are falling apart over there. I don't know what's going on. I ordered 2 albums this past month that came out terribly. I contacted customer service and no one has been able to help me. I returned the albums, never received an email that they got it. Called a million times and was told the manager of returns would call me, they never did. Eventually after much calling I got my money refunded, which was not what I wanted. I put lots of hours and weeks into making those albums, and I wanted a reprint. Finally placed another order to get the damn album to send to family and I was supposed to be refunded shipping, but in emailing them, I got an email back saying they have no record of me ever being a customer. Basically, their service is $#*! and I am extremely disappointed. Their new updated software has also been really glitchy and when I called customer service about it, the man basically called me an idiot and said there was nothing wrong with the software. When I explained to him I have never had issues with the older versions, he said I'm imagining things. Not the way you should be taking to a customer that has been ordering albums from you for years. I am really never ordering anything from them again and I'm going to find another place to get my albums printed. I'm also letting my friends and family know that the MyPublisher that I used to purchase from is no more.
I've used MyPublisher for the past 4 years in spite of inconsistent quality and inadequate customer service when problems occur because they offer massive discount codes every other day that lure me back. This time, I am done with them. If you are lucky, 50% of the time you will receive a good quality book in a timely matter for a decent price (although their shipping costs are ridiculously expensive). When things go bad, have no confidence that MyPublisher will fix the problem and anticipate that you will spend hours contacting customer service. I recently made a book and ordered 10 copies of it. Almost 2 weeks later I had received no email updates and no books and had to contact the company to verify that the order went through. It had but they were experiencing delays. A few days later 3 or 4 books arrived. They all had defective covers and spines. I contacted customer service. I then had to wait days if not over a week more for the remaining books to arrive so I could call back customer service, tell them that they were all defective, and email them photos of the books. They agreed to remake them. Over a week later, the books started arriving again in multiple packages. There were only 9 books when there should have been 10. Only 1 was made without defects. The other 8 all had the same problem with the cover and the spine. To make matters worse, 2 out of the defective 8 were missing 4 pages of content inside! I called customer service for the 3rd time. They said they would pay shipping for me to send the books back for "their review". I don't trust them to make the books correctly – they've demonstrated that they can correctly make a book 5% of the time. And I don't trust them to provide the full refund that I want if I send them all of the defective books back and have them out of my hands. I'm cutting my losses and moving on to another book maker.
