11/8/24 adding an update to my review. I received a call and apology from MyYogaTeacher Customer Service. We've agreed for me to use my accumulated credit by April 2025 which is 40+ 1:1 sessions. I guess I better get moving and motivated. Excited to reconnect with my yoga practice and phenomenal teachers. I did also receive a credit back from my credit card service for the $925 membership charge.

I joined MyYogaTeacher 6 months ago. I paid $725 for six months that included 2 1:1 sessions per week and unlimited classes. The instructors are awesome. They build confidence and flexibility. Lots of options to schedule. During the six months I built a credit of 30 unused 1:1 sessions. This month I received notification on my credit card of an automated charge of $950 annual fee. The same day I contacted MyYogaTeacher and requested to cancel membership and receive a refund. Despite multiple attempts they refused to refund and stated my membership would end in 2025. They make joining east and quitting impossible. You have to provide a credit card to secure the membership and have no control over the membership renewal. For this reason alone I urge you not to sign up for this service.
