Clothing Subscription Box with low prices and mostly items that I like. Based in Austin, TX so that is a bonus if you're from Texas. They charge $9.95/month for the Styling Fee, which is credited to the items that you keep. You can leave reviews of what you received and an extra note for your stylist so they can curate more items specifically for you.
There are only a few small things that I wish they had/did, and that is:
-Be able to click on the item photo on their website to see a larger image of the item
-Show/send suggestions for what to wear with the items that they send, some of us don't know how to put outfits together... even down to what shoes do you wear.
-Even though they do have all price ranges for their items, I would like it if they offered a discount for keeping all items or a percentage off for keeping more than 1 or 2 items
Other than that, they are great!
Tip for consumers:
Be as specific as possible with what you like and don't like.
Products used:
A variety of clothes and jewelry
This is not a BBB-accredited business, and there's a reason for that. False advertisement is probably one of them. The BBB has fielded well over 1,000+ complaints against this company for unscrupulous and dishonest practices. I didn't do my research, and found this info out the hard way. ALWAYS RESEARCH a company, ANY COMPANY, especially an online service, before even agreeing to surrender your email address. This was my experience with NADINE WEST: I received a shipment, kept a few items, which I understood would be charged to me by a certain date, and sent back the rest before the charge date, in accordance with their stated policy on the website. The next day, I had a change of heart and wanted to send the remaining items that I'd kept and reached via email to the company, because email was the only method of contact given. Mind you, the clock for returning unwanted items is ticking at this point, and I had only 10 days left after the first response I received to get the unwanted items shipped back. Long story short, there was a lot of back and forth for 4 days in which I was then made aware of a return policy that was indicated NOWHERE on their website, and the return policy was that all unwanted items had to be returned ALTOGETHER, and I was basically told that even though the charge date was still future, they would not accept those items, therefore, I would still be charged, and the cost of those items, if I chose, could be credited to a future shipment if they are returned with the next shipment, assuming that I continued doing business with them. So no refund either, but a future credit. Needless to say, that was the end of my very short relationship with NADINE WEST. Buyers beware!
