Nancy's Notions is a wonderful company to deal with by catalog and on the phone, but I thought I would look up the website to see how it compared. The site has a huge offering of sewing products of all kinds (not just quilting). The layout was easy to go through. My only suggestion would be that they give a better description on quantity on the initial product view. Example would be a particular type of thread. You have to go into detail to find out how much thread is offered by the piece. It would make shopping quicker and easier to list the amount on the initial description.
They do guarantee satisfaction, they KNOW sewing, are very helpful, and the turnaround time to get an order is fast, even on regular shipping. Good products, great sales and values.
Purchased the adjustable Home Hobby Table by Sullivan from Nancy's Notions. Could of saved approximately $80 even with 20% discount, from other stores that had free shipping, theirs was not.

Told by customer service at Nancys Notions I should hire some one to unassable it and return it. Its 70 pounds I can not handle it. Plus I would have pay return shipping.
They will not make any kind of adjustment in good faith to keep a customer that has gone to their store since it opened. By the way they closed Nancy's store.

I ordered the personalize and stitch download 2.0, which was 214.00 with tax. It was on their site and I put it in the cart and paid with a credit card. I waited and waited and never received the download. I had a customer service person call me back. I asked if it was a download and she said yes. She told be to look in my account under downloads and I did. It showed NO downloads, so she asked someone about the situation and had to call me back. She said there was a problem and they don't even carry that product. I was literally looking at it on their site. I asked her how they could take my money and send me a confirmation if they don't sell it. Josie was very nice and it wasn't her fault, but come on! This was my first and last time dealing with this awful company. They also told be they would give me a store credit for an apology and it NEVER happened. BEWARE of this Company
