Very happy with Nationwide. They provided the most detailed of the three quotes we requested (the other two gave insufficient information to make a decision).We had to wait a few weeks for the surveyor to come and carry out the formal survey, but when he did, he worked quickly, answered all our questions and explained all the options to us, so we happily signed on the dotted line. There is a huge range of colour options to select from, and we went for a jolly yellow and white striped awning. It has made so much more of our garden, and gives us great pleasure. We now have some friends and neighbours who are considering such an addition to their outside space. We only had it installed in early August, so can't comment on how it will be over the long term.
Deckroof started to install on 22 August and on 23 August without any prior notice professionals left the site and didn't finish the job. I had to contact the work manager then and had to cancel my pre booked bank holiday trip with family on 26 August Monday, so they can revisit and complete the installation work on that day (I had no other choice except to cancel my well advanced and pre booked holiday trip plan because work manager wasn't able to provide me any other completion dates before the mid September!). It didn't stop there, on 23 August there was raining and we noticed there were multiple water leaking sites through the partly-installed roof as well as through the deckroof and building wall attachment side. Photos and videos of it was sent to customer service on 24 August and while they came back to site on 26 August, I was explained & reassured by the professionals that leaking happened due to incomplete joint sealings and after completion of installation today, there would be no more leakages. However, there was further raining on 7 September and we discovered that there are again multiple areas of water leaking sites from the deck roof as well as roof-building wall junction - though sealant were applied everywhere while installation completed on 26 August. I resent photos and videos to company regarding this issue and now I am waiting for them coming back to reassess the status of leaking on 1 October! More than three weeks later from reporting date. I am very dissatisfied with the disruptive work pattern and poor installation workmanship; I had to cancel my pre booked bank holiday trip because of company's non-professional behaviour and now I have to wait for more than three weeks before they can come and reassess the status of workmanship. I was told by company that if there is any cancellation happens with other appointments, they may visit my property before 1 October. I won't recommend this company to any of my relatives, friends and colleagues.
From point of sale through to survey and installation, an excellent experience. Thoroughly knowledgeable, informative and supportive. The installation was right on time and the team were outstanding with zero mess. Would highly recommend.

There was a small chip in a slab which the firm has offered to replace for us if we get the slab.
So overall a good job and the product looks great.

We had a Nationwide awning that was still working fine after 20+ years. However, we now needed to replace it with a larger one so chose Nationwide because of the quality of the previous one. Two fitters arrived on time, erected the awning without any drama and tidied up well. They also explained clearly the working of the electrical controls and other items.

We had a veranda fitted a couple of years ago and recently had a sun blind fitted. Don't know yet it's effectiveness as it is winter but quality and fitting was good. Seemed expensive but you get what you pay for.

All three stages of the process were excellent. The salesperson was knowledgeable, informative and helpful. The on-site surveyor took account of my preferences for exact positioning whilst advising me of any necessities and answered clearly my questions post his visit. The installers dealt with the difficulties of tree roots and existing slabs whilst maintaining a conversation with me to achieve an installation that met the surveyor's plan to the extent possible and satisfied me.

We recently experienced a motor failure and electrical fault on our 12 ft awning due to the heavy rainfall. This was no fault of the Nationwide awning. When contacted Nationwide swiftly organised engineers to visit and resolve the problem. Stuart and Reese arrived on time and carried out the work with very pleasant efficiency, keeping us informed throughout the installation of a motor and new parts. They were neat and tidy and left the patio clear and clean.
When the wind sensor failed within the week (unknown fault) the company very quickly organised engineers to visit. This morning Ben and Joshua came precisely on time and again without hesitation resolved the problem informing us of the cause of the problem (again heavy rainfall).
On each occasion the engineers arrived precisely at the booked time and carried out their work in an efficient and friendly manner.
We would most certainly recommend Nationwide every time. First class!

I am now able to sit in my garden even in inclement weather, getting fresh air and appreciating my garden. If there was one improvement I could suggest to you, is that when opening the glass door (with the lower catch), I would have liked a handle attached to the glass panel so that I could open it without having to put my fingers all over the glass.

Recently had an awning installed at the back of our very sunny bungalow. From the initial consultation where everything was explained with a drawing showing how the install would look, to choosing the fabric from the many books and we were kept in touch every step of the way through emails. We were told when our install would be and the team who installed the awning arrived early and worked non stop to get the awning installed. Apart from needing the awning earlier than the delivery date because of the sunny weather in June I have no complaints. The men turned up 2 hours early because of problems with an earlier job but fortunately I was at home. They worked hard and left no rubbish.

Having found the small sunshades that come with garden furniture inadequate, and considered the problem of the heavier free-standing shades blowing around in the wind and the difficulty of storing them, we contacted Nationwide Home Innovations about their awnings, having looked at several sites and deciding that they looked the most likely to be able to provide what we wanted. We could not have made a better decision! There was no hard sell from the salesperson, and delivery and installation were prompt and efficient. Although by no means cheap, we now have a smart awning which opens and closes easily and provides wonderful shade for our patio. I only wish we had more space to have some of their other wonderful products.
